"Isn't it interesting all the mean, hateful, lonely losers who never have anything nice or positive to say?"
I think it is a positive contribution to say what you did was just a projection of your own mindset. Luckily most people do have something useful to say.
David Bowies character and lyrics have always kinda reminded me of the Neuromancer novel by William Gibson. If you're a fan of both, you'll probably agree with me.
@fuzzysting Reeves Gabrels. He's actually really good on Bowie's albums, great guitarist. Don't know what the hell happened here though, it's absolutely awful.
@fuzzysting That's Reeves Gabrels who, yes played with him in Tin Machine. I'll admit this isn't he greatest arrangement in the world, but have some fucking respect he pretty much DEFINED Bowie's guitar sound during the 90's.
Boooooie! one of the greatest artist of all time I believe..saw his glass spider tour in LA back in the 80's..watta great show..watta great seed of music to embed in your soul.....
I saw Bowie in ATL Georgia during the Earthling tour. The way many of the classic songs were revamped was incredible. Seeing Bowie live was a great experience.
Saw this show in 74 twice in one day..the mainess with Halooween Jack and a second date at 9:pm live in incredible Toronto,Canada...a very BOWIE CITY...thanks Tornto,Canada for all the memories....what a day itt was in June'74 to start a 15 yr. old boys summer...The Dogz..4 -EVER!!!
I love this performance! Don't know what should be awful with it! And Mike Garson's piano playing is excellent, as always!

One thing about Bowie, he isn't scared to rearrange and reinvent his tunes...not a bad version, although not my favorite.

They skipped the verse: "...Meet his little hussy with his ghost town approach
Her face is sans feature, but she wears a dali brooch
Sweetly reminiscent, something mother used to bake
Wrecked up and paralyzed, diamond dogs are sableized..."
timin770 1 year ago
Yikes, really flubbed the lyrics there. Looks great though... leave it to Bowie to wear tailored rags!

This Tin Machine yob on guitar has the worst tone of any of Bowie's guitarists, it sounds like a swarm of angry mosquitoes

@fuzzysting Wow that sting is fucking to the point.,one of Bowie's worst and boring backing bands.
No diamonds HERE.
It fazes me to this day what went on in Dave Jones'head since the 8T's. oh well ,he became a rather successful stockbroker.

Old Cool Zigy incarnation. He was quite renewing that days, he kind of invented Jungle and opened doors to Drum&Bass the way we know it now.

50 years old. It was probably the rich rock singer's equivalent of a motorcycle. Whatever look you call it, he looks bloody well cool here.

This is not old. If it was a couple thousand years ago it would be old. I saw him do this in 74 and 96, and it was not that long ago.
