If anyone has the actual official hint book for this game, I'll buy it off of you for a good amount of money. It's such a rare bird that I've never actually seen what it looks like! Replacement Docs doesn't even have a copy of it in PDF format sadly...

Nice of them to add all the upgrades from Volume II in the CD version of Volume I. The music redux is cool, but I may actually prefer the old style better...

@JundlandBanshee I actually have both games, but I wanted to do this version cause I really liked all the cutscenes and all the dialogs that you didn't have to look up in the book, plus you can walk diagonally :) There is something to be said though about the original version much like Return to Zork, since there are many minute differences :)

@Arwen4CJ I don't believe they re-released this game yet, the franchise focused on the more modern versions on the newer consoles and PC, but nothing beats this old classic. I really like how this game is much like all the old Dungeons and Dragons series of games... the decisions you make early on affect how the game turns out (including recruiting and dismissing party members).

How easy to use is Dosbox?

I've been wanting to get one for quite sometime, but I've had hesistations since every single Genesis emulator crashes my laptop along with MAME

@tripdefect87 Dosbox isn't difficult to use at all (it's about moderate level), there's a large support forum and a DOSBOX Wiki online you can use on the Internet to look up commands and what they do. If you know most DOS commands from the olden days (6.22), and know how to edit a text configuration file in notepad, you're good. If you know a little Linux (i.e. the mount command), even better :)

@tripdefect87 Hehehe.... I have to use it every day at my job on some Redhat Enterprise Oracle Linux Servers. Might as well have fun once in a while :) basically, the only commands you really need to know in dosbox to get started are CD (change directory), DIR (list directory contents), MOUNT (mounts a folder path on your hard drive to a drive letter in DOSBOX), IMGMOUNT (mounts an ISO file to a drive letter), and then C: or D: (switches drives). Again, there is a good support forum on this.
