I think it is amazing how people assume Ian Curtis would have loved this crap band just because this band sounds uncannily unsimilar to Joy Division. The Horrors are very unoriginal and instantly unlikeable. Without the obvious influence The Cure, Joy Division and The Birthday Party had on their image I really do not think they;d be as popular as they are. You can tell a lot about a band and their mindset by their name alone...The Horrors; definitely lacking creativity.

At first I thought the Horrors were a bunch of fashionistas. But I've met some of them. And they are GENUINE music lovers. With loads of passion. And they're nice people too. So I've been a wanker, judging them before knowing. I know, they come from rich families (but also spacemen 3 are public school boy, as Joe Strummer, etc) and maybe they hang out too much in hoxton, but they are young. And music is the most important thing in them life. Hat off to them.
