  • His viola sounds great! Doesnt look particularly large, but has a big sonorous sound!

  • yeah, what an amazing sound!! clear and strong.

  • NNNOOOO. Not in English.

  • @binkyabc123 Just click on the "cc" button below the video.

  • Tremendous viola player. The truth is simple. Powerful double stops. Can hardly compare to Bashmet. Even more powerful than Dunham. Very melodic and brilliant tone in the higher register. A Strauss master. S. Retiz

  • Nice crispy sound!

  • Niiice room!

  • Does anyone what viola is he playing? I love it!

  • @anyalun115 Probably something that costs a little more than a brand new DB9.

  • @ThePeoplesGuru well i guess so..haha i've heard Bashmet and his testore viola two weeks ago life <3 so amazing..but his is even better..well love it anyway, violas rock!

  • very well played

  • d+ me gusto mucho yo como primer viola de la orquesta de mi pais tambien me gusta aprender cosas asi . y solo tengo 12 años

  • Oh please, add Spanish subtitles, you will cover many countries

  • @fsacriste They are there! Just click on the "cc" button, scroll down and pick the Spanish subtitles.

  • @BerlinPhil Thanks for the answer. Sadly, I can only see the upper part of the list, but is a problem with either the site or my machine... So bad, you didn't write it this way "Español"

  • @BerlinPhil Sorry, I just found that I can do it on Full Screen mode, so happy, one of my nieces is violist, I will send this to her. Big thanks.

  • One one clip you can see how the shoulder rest does not conform to his body the way he holds the viola. I have the same problem and find that I have to shift my chin over to the center over the tailpiece. This doesn't feel natural to me.. I rather hold my viola like he is. But I think we both need a modified shoulder rest. All the typical ones sold really force you to put your chin over the tailpiece else suffer the ends of the shoulder rest digging into you.

  • He makes this excerpt look easy! This is actually a very hard to play with lots of complexity, which is why it’s a common excerpt for professional orchestra auditions! A true master at work! And what a wonderful viola!

  • What sound, congratulations, what viola does he have?

  • The level of a good musician, but it is attainable, so that all the talk about the musicians from the orchestras of Class-A have been greatly exaggerated ..... Simply, there is a barrier for musicians from Eastern Europe ......

  • Shit, this Guy is good! I'm gonna break both my violas over my knee!!

  • Great!

  • You don't need subtitles to hear greatness...

  • i like his viola!

  • Bratsche links,Bogen rechts....und ich bin in der Notlage:-))))))))))))))))

  • Just like that!

  • Man, every time I watch any video uploaded by this channel I am inspired to practice and become great

  • @AbsoluteZ3R0 Learn your scales. I resisted my private instructor all the time when she asked me to do scales. Now that I'm on my own, I practice them at least 15 minutes per day. If you know scales, you will know where to land your fingers. The 16th/32nd note runs are nothing more than scales. Only since I've been on my own, have I come to learn and appreciate the importance of scales. Scales = technique. And technique will allow you to play whatever you want, however you want.

  • just learn german

  • @C00ki3M0nsst3r Learn to watch his fingers.

  • I wonder, could you add subtitles possibly?

  • @ThaSchwab Yes, we can. And they will be available very soon.

  • Could you add some english subtitles to this? That'd be very helpful!

  • @Farnik01 Subtitles will be uploaded soon, so stay tuned!
