Thanks for sharing this - I have the exact same problem..... I'm all "clickety-click-click" and severe pain/limping etc. I hope your recovery is a speedy one.........
My best friend hast 2 crushed vertebrae and a metal rod in his back from a car crash, and my girlfriend had to undergo a kidney transplant (not her fault), so I know where you've been, and I thank you for sharing this with everyone.
What a coincidence, These are the same images that will be taken of my spine soon. For six weeks I've been living with the worst back/ sciatic nerve pain, which is probably due to a herniated disk, and I've never had an MRI before so I thought I would see if youtube could give me an idea of what it would be like. I will probably have to undergo the same surgery. How are you doing recently with your back? And thank you for sharing this! I'm confident now that there is hope!
OMG this is so soothing but it just ain't so when you're in that machine! I just had one and felt like they were putting me in a living trash bag! Bang bang bang! Glad you're doing better and thanks for posting this!
What was it that you were feeling before that mri like what were your symtoms....backpain and neckpain is the worse...but what were your symtoms...but that's great the surgery fix ya up *YAY*
constant pain, it felt like my hp bone was grinding into my pelvis. Sometimes pain would spread, or shoot down to my foot. Other times it was just bad in the hip. When I picked up a backpack and collapsed screaming in blinding pain, that was my cue it wasn't getting better.
Much better. The surgery was a few years ago, and I'm mostly recovered. I still hvae sore days, but I'm walking with little to no discomfort which is really the best part of it all. So I can't complain. And the ultimate joke was I was filming WDR shows and doing really physically active stuff with that injury for at least a year....
It wasn't in the best shape, no. I'm not kidding when I say the surgeon was shocked when I walked into his office. I actually have the staff at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago to thank for it. Just don't tell them I'm playing paintball and snowboarding. They might have fits about that...

It's a pretty amazing machine isn't it. They'll only keep getting better in the years to come...and hopefully a little smaller.

there's still some pain, more soreness than anything else. But I'm walking, doing things... Yes, definitely worth the risks.
And the MRI? Prepare to get bored. Or nap.

It was. And believe me, it did hurt. A lot. The doctor was amazed that I walked into his office that day, let alone could stand.
