I am always upset when it's over, these are perfect games and the genre is all but disappearing.

I've never really thought about this song being a battle song since it's just played on the map, but it does have a very nice battle ring to it. Still, Shining Force 2 may be my favorite game of all time, still play it to this day.

Yeah, the two brothers who made Golden Sun also made Shining Force. The funny thing is, my favorite game of all time is Shining Force and my friends favorite game is Golden Sun and we each recommended our favorite game to each other. I also never knew that the same people made both games up until this previous summer.

I think you're wrong, pal. I knew that Camelot made Shining force III, not Shining force 2.

SF2 was made by 'Sonic Software Planning', the same who made Shining Force and Shining Force CD. SF3 was made by Camelot, who also made Golden Sun (heard rumors that it prototype name was Shining Sun...).

Shining Force 2 soundtrack is marvelous. I love it's modality, especially interesting considering such jazziness isn't often found in an rpg.

Unfortunately these games were made by Camelot, who split from Sega. Sega took the Shining Force rights from Camelot in the split, though.. which is why there are no more good Shining Force games after SF3. Sega have pretty much butchered the Shining Franchise.
