wow i'm having the same problem with my suzuki vitara ecxatly the same ,i have changed the thermostat to get more heat to the vaporizer but it didn't fix the problem , i'm gonna try change the spark plugs and if that dont solve the problem will try to change the vaporizer good luck with your BMW
its your coil packs , i had the same problem, ran fine on fuel but ruff on lpg and idle would fluctuate,i changed all 6 coil packs and now runs perfect
We had a similar problem with a Mazda 626 v6 2.5L, we did a basic check and tune up to the vaporizer and we bought a set of new spark plug with 0.1 mm narrower. The LPG has its own idler normally sticks to the side of the vaporizer but it is better to tune that and adjust the air gas mixture using a synthesizer (mechanics got it). It shouldn't cost you much, roughly $50-$100 max I fix petrol petrol cars myself but LPGs have many random symptoms so I know how frustrating it is. good luck
.. cont'd.. when rpm is low, coolant flow is low, heat flow is not enough to warm the gas in the vaporizer, but when the rpm is higher or you are in the free way the coolant flow is faster hence the temperature is enough to heat up the gas. In some cases the vaporizer freezes and block the coolant flow, then people end up harming the engine cooling system, head, or head gasket. pls check if you are using the heater hoses or different hoses and tune your gas mixture. hope this helps
Hi Mick, I just create a new youtube account to help u.
Well, there are three things which have direct relationship LPG system. 1st is the coolant temperature which warms up the vaporizer, 2nd the gas-air mixture which expands when the car warms up, and finally the spacing of the spark plugs. When converting to LPG, mechanics pass the heaters hoses, or coolant hoses/path through the vaporizer, hence the change of coolant temp/flow affects the gas-air mix/flow ...
Controller update required!!!!!
