That John Deere weighs 40,000lbs while the Quadtrac weighs 58,000 pounds. Big difference, and im impressed with the deere for holding its ground so well! Im a die hard John Deere man, but love those beastly quads at the same time. But for practicability the john deere is much better as far as ground compaction which makes it a much more job oriented tractor, unlike the quad that can pull anything you throw at it. overkill if you ask me. the 4 track articulation is a great design none the less.
i have to laugh at all the idiots on these video comments sayin one tractor is better than the other. All tractors are the exact same, they do the exact same job every day and the only difference is the controls are in different places. Half of the people commentin here arent even farmers. Get lives lol
Ok kids, look at the real tests (Official Nebraska tests) Deere outpulls the Case (Fiat) in almost every gear range. People who watch this and believe it probably think reality TV is real too.

@TheCaseihdriver That is a completely ignorant statement. A 4020 will outpull an 806 all day because the quad range transmission was far superior to the T/A transmission. More gears to choose from, not to mention the T/A was a POS from the start. John Deere had superior transmissions starting way back in the 60's, and it remained so for a long time, probably still that way, honestly. That is why there are so many John Deere fans, in addition to the added comfort.
i agree with most of the post here. John deere will never touch a Case 4wd. Case makes the best 4wd on the market today. This video with defeat any debaters that feel jd has anyone on case
There's no reason to argue with anyone here.I don't know if it's a better design or not for farming.Maybe it is.Many people say if a JD pulls means that JD is better. If a Case IH pulls means this is better from the tractor that it just pulled.I just want to notice that this is a big mistake. It's all about the traction and the weight .It's not about the hp or the colour.Anyway, for this reason or any other that could exist Case IH is heavier that's why all this happens. PS sorry for my English.
@pfleeger2010 West Greece the place where I belong to. But I realy like the way that you're talking your butchered, slang-riddled-dirty American English. It's fucking awesome!!
@ANTONOPOULOSGIANNIS Yes, American English is slang-riddled and dirty and it's only getting worse. With texting becoming so popular now, the slang has turned into abbreviations, which have transferred over into our speech. I can't stand the use of abbreviations in American speech, let alone texting, it makes it too hard to read.
@ANTONOPOULOSGIANNIS That is a really bad argument, if Case IH made their tractor heavier, and that is why it pulls better, then they designed their tractor better, this is like if I lost a bet on a sports team, and then said "it's not fair, the coach of your team put together a team of bigger, better athletes."
not to mention that the quadtrac has a almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution when under full draw bar pull.. As your beloved Jd does not rendering those long tracks useless.. theres a reason the far superior Case IH Quadtrac holds the Ploughing World Record
i have to say, the quadtrac is superior in power. i certainly dont care about cost or maintainence because its not passed on to me, because im not a consumer, because i grow my own damn food.. and all of you should too.
@Reno2324 i never said i had a tractor. and just because i grow my own food doesnt make me a farmer, it makes me a survivor. Lets see who makes it when the fuel runs out and it costs you 5$ for a tomato.
as far as power yes the case out pulls a 9630 which is typical case all braun and no brains.the quad trac is a great primary tillage machine but lets see it wirk in rows or run over rough trrain at full speed.the truth is quad tracs are good for one thing and thats pulling but as far and spraying or cultivaving or getting into the field after planting its dead in the water. yay you won the pissing contest but not the intelligence one.
There is more to take into consideration here. Weight of tractor, horsepower, I think the set up on CaseIH is better track wise than JD. My brother worked for CaseIH and they did a plow test with a Cat Challenger set up similar to the JD and they put the plow as deep as it would go in the ground and the CaseIH pulled it. Challenger sat and spun.
when put against each other the case quadtrack wins because it simply has more traction but if you put a 9630 with tires against the same case with rubber tires then it would be a very even fight but with the john deere having the tracks like a cat challenger , its like 2 wheel drive against 4 wheel drive.
many people fail to realize the fact that although the quadtrac may be "better" putting torque to the ground it will also be 13 times better getting towed to the shop
@wandyamull I would have to dissagree with this statement... operating costs on a Case are less then John Deere I have found out... My Case tractors have lasted longer and have had fewer repairs then my JD ones... also parts for Case tend to be less expensive then JD as well... this is my viewpoint having owned both kinds of tractor brands
@cmajoen hes right we tried john deere its twice the price to operate per hour and has more plastic on the deere the the case ih the deere is more expensive for more plastic
@cmajoen thats weird we used to have three case tractors and a john deere: two 285s, a 270, and a 8220
the 270 completely crapped out on us, one 285 is constantly breaking something (i mean a bi-weekly ordeal), and one has caught fire, and the worst thing thats happened to the john deere is that the pto sensor comes unplugged every so often in the sunflowers
i also have to mention that theyre all about the same age the john deere isnt more than a year older than the cases
@cmajoen but i will say that in our experiences old case combines clean much better than john deere we have a 2388 that cleans many times better than any of the rentals weve had: a brand new mid sized deere, an old deere, and even a case 8010 (i know its case)
in the end we named john deere the best tractor company but case the best combine company (for where we are located)
The key design feature that you need to keep in mind is that the single track needs significant ballasting on the front of the tractor to keep the weight displacement spread evenly, where the 4 track system does not need that additional weight. Adding the additonal weight to the front of the "two track tractors" increases soil compaction as well as operating costs. Therefore, indentation or ridges in the soil will negatively affect the track-to-soil contact, lessening floation and increasing soil compaction. on a QUADTRAC the ground PSI is 5.6 pounds...
@catanddeereD11T did you even think b4 writing that comment. the d9 weigh a fuck load more and has metal tracks. plus its not even close to the same class. you might as well of said try hooking it up to jet
its not a weight issue (there are added on weights on the JD if you look close) its not the fact that the tracks are the length of the tractor vs it being 4 seperate tracks and the 30 HP difference isnt going to add up to that bad of a beat... plain and simple, when it comes right down to it... CASE MAKES A BETTER TRACTOR!!
@cmajoen Those are more then likely 150 - 200 pound plates and he doesnt have that many on, maybe 4 maybe 6 at most, This would equal a 1200 pounds at 6 plates incase ya cant add. Even if it had a rack of 10, its only 2,000 pounds, still need 13,000 to get to the bare minimum of the case. now tell me where that makes up a 15,000 pound difference. Seriously? Yes, physics in track length, how many drives and weight applied to them make a huge difference in traction. Personally I dont like either.
@duane2072 to mantain better track-to-soil contact, JD and Cat or "two track tractors" must add ballast (weight) to the front and to the side of the tractor. Adding the additonal weight to the front of the "two track tractors" increases soil compaction as well as operating costs. @cmajoen Ignorance is bliss in your "case". The John Deere is almost at its pulling capacity. In other words its lucky if it can even pull the weight it is. Go look up the specs before replying, wont sound so ignorant. Weight plays a huge roll in this, that is proven from watching the two going at it. Physics and trac design is what the game is about, if it doesnt matter that much then there would only be one design of tracks, Now that is PLAIN and SIMPLE.
@duane2072 so u are saying that case is the better built tractor (I am glad that you finally get the picture)...engineered beyond what JD could ever build... besides... these are the specs for the JD and the QUADtrac u dummy... get on my level... oh wait 50:1 u will never be on my level
@fjnunesaz Let's be honest now. International trucks are still part of the original International Harvester. They probably make the best mid-level, utility diesel truck. I know they don't have the refinement of a Peterbuilt, but man they can rack up the miles.
ok everyon knows case out pulls john deere but john deere rides a hell of a lot better but who cares they both are the best made and id love the have either of them ..
@dudeman92385 I don't agree on the ride but u are right on about the two companys. If I could not get one I would run the other. Also just think what u would pay for machinery if we did not have some competition of two great Companies like CaseIH and Deere..................................O what the hell CaseIH is better....
Two tractors duking it out to see which one delivers their torque to the ground better thus winning the tug-o-war is all the scientific tests I need to see. Case IH wins.
well i dont know why people are saying that case ih is a foreign tractor? one of the place wherethe IH steiger tractores are made and build in Fargo ND. get your facts strait.
@bigcow29 Case is a global company just like John Deere. Their tractors are made all over the world. All utility tractors under 65hp are made overseas somewhere. The Quadtrac is an American made machine.
@TDubya5 You said all utility tractors under 65hp are made overseas...if you're ever near Grovetown,GA, you may want to take tour of Deere's plant there where build such tractors.
@TDubya5 I guess you could say the Quadtrac is American made, it's just built by people employed by a foreign company. Which is why the profit goes to the foreign company too when you buy one. And I'm sure Fiat will be glad to take your money.
@AZTD1 I plan on taking the tour one day. I have talked to a local JD rep that has, but If I took it today I would see that the smallest tractor they make is 65 horsepower (respectively). I didn't need an internet search to know what's made in America. I have a firm grasp as to what I'm talking about. Look; Deere, CNH, AGCo, they're all global corporations that have employees worldwide. They don't care about "made in America" as much as we do. Waterloo Iowa just ain't what it used to be.
@TDubya5 If I understand you correctly, you said a JD rep told you Deere's Grovetown, GA plant doesn't built "under 65hp" tractors? Ummm, thats all they build there. You can watch them being built right here on youtube...look it up.
@AZTD1 No, you don't understand anything correctly. I said there is no American made utility tractor under 65 horsepower. I am fully aware of the "M" series John Deere tractors. The other utility tractors are made in India and the fancy sub-compacts are made in some freaking where that isn't America. Yanmar powered, you figure it out.
@TDubya5 Ok, I don't know how many times I need to explain this, but Deere builds "under 65hp" tractors in Grovetown, GA. Go to search here in YouTube and type in "Deere Grovetown, GA" and see them being built if you don't believe me.
@AZTD1 CNH is headquartered in Illinois. I know that there is too many foreign interests in them to name, but do you really think Deere is worthy of your "All American" praise? Deere employs almost 2x the number of workers CNH employs. How many of those jobs do you think are held by Americans? Deere has partially sold out the American worker a long time ago and are not worthy of the "buy American" cause they are based in America.
@TDubya5 Sorry, but CNH is headquartered in the Netherlands, and owned by Fiat. I haven't looked up the data on jobs at Deere yet, but I'm betting the vast majority are held by Americans - just look at where all the factorys are located. I know it's a tough pill to swallow for some American farmers, and I sure wish it was NOT true...but the fact remains, CaseIH is a foreign owned company.
@AZTD1 No, you're wrong again. CNH Global's headquarters are in Burr Ridge Illinois. I don't know for certain, but it may be the test facility of the original Farmall farm. You're not telling me anything I don't know about the Netherlands and Fiat, but you should know Fiat is majority stakeholder and not the sole stakeholder in CNH Global.
@TDubya5 This is from CNH's own website; "CNH Global N.V. (“CNH,” and formerly New Holland N.V.) is incorporated in The Netherlands under Dutch law. As a Netherlands corporation, CNH files its annual financial statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the U.S. on Form 20-F, rather than on Form 10-K." You are correct, Fiat is not the sole stakeholder - it only has 89% ownership!
@AZTD1 You're not telling me anything I don't know about the Netherlands. If anything you have reinforced my statement about the agribusiness being global and not local. I'm correct in everything I have said. You're trying to modify the discussion to not admit being wrong. CNH headquarters, dutch owned or not is in Burr Ridge Illinois. John Deere does not make a pure American utility tractor under 65 hp in America. With that I'm done. The magic youtube vid to prove me wrong doesn't exist
@TDubya5 CNH is run from Netherlands according to CNH, which gets it's orders from Fiat. The truth will set you free. :-)
I can understand your frustration watching the youtube video of Deere manufacturing the "under 65hp" tractors in Georgia after you thought it wasn't true.
@AZTD1 Nope you're wrong again. Those are classified as "COMPACT" utility tractors and not pure utility tractors, that's Deere's classification, not mine. Let's see no 2wd option, mid-mount pto option; doesn't sound like a utility tractor to me. Sounds like a compact. Also; the vid you are refering to shows workers putting on wheels and tires? Where's the foundry? Where's the machining? Maybe, just maybe that's done in another factory overseas and they do the final assembly in Georgia.IDK
@bigcow29 The facts were correct, maybe you didn't read them correctly. Some CaseIH product IS built in ND, but CaseIH is a foreign owned company - not American owned.
The only reason the case won was because it has more track surface area in all 4 tracks on the ground were the john deere only has 2 tracks on the ground.
I like how every JD fan on here tries to give a good reason why the green tractor gets owned. Just suck it up Deere fans. Green got beat. Say what you want about how the Case weighs more, or the Case has 4 tracks, or the Deere has more drawbar pull, or how scientific results put the Deere ahead. Just watch the video. The 9630T is JD's biggest tractor for field work and the STX 535 was Case's biggest tractor for field work. I have a friend who is the biggest Deere fan ever. Even he admits defeat.
even if you were only going a km/hr faster in the case over the deere, over every hour you would cover a kilometer more distance, i think that would pay for all that fuel that all the green blooded men are going on about cause thats all they have haha
All new tractors suck. Comparing these two is almost as bad is comparing two cars in nascar, all the MAJOR differences are in color and sheet metal. I'll stick to pre 80's because i actually enjoy quality
John Deere humm the only company to hang on to its own name it was international and now case international and now i think they are just trying to hold on doesn't matter any way they are both bad ass tractors I grew up with all colors in the barn and never bitched about any of them they all took the labor out of me and the old Draft horses LOLOLOL.
the john deere has more traction cuz the tracs take most of the length of the tractor and john deere sucks anyways...all john deeres do is burn up you hardly ever see a case burn up...every time i would see a john deere in a field someone would be working on it...i run a 2388 combine that my dad's company has and he also has another case and a john deere the two cases are always runnin the john deere will hardly make through one day without stopping it will break down almost every other day
It doesnt matter color. These two arent even a match. The Quad track has more weight to the ground under the four seperate tracks. The John Deere has less weight to the ground under the two long tracks. Its not a HP thing its a traction thing. Do you see the big red one pull the big green one? The John Deere having less Foot pounds of pressure to the ground wins hands down in less field compaction over the Case however.Thats the reason to own a tracked tractor.Less field compaction.
@duane2072 you would be incorrect in this statement.. you are right however that the case tractor does weigh more but the lbs per sq inch on a 535 is less then that then a 9630T... which in turn means less ground pressure and less compaction.... but in all reality all its showing is how much bette the Case does in real use situations.... Overall Case is gunna win 90% of the time in all situations where u put it up against a MFD or a 4wd or whatever...
@cmajoen John Deere 9630T 530 HP One Drive Per Track = 2 Drives Weight 43,000 lbs Track min. 30" Also this tractor is alomst at its maximum in weight on draw bar doing this. Case Quadtrac 535 589 HP plus a power boost up to 35 HP 58,000 lbs. 4 Track Drive System Track Min. 29.53" Quad Trac is only less compactive as the drives units turn instead of slide. Now tell me how it can be less lbs per sq inch when the case weighs 15,000 pounds more? Lets do some math before posting again. Shall we?
@cmajoen On another note, this Case should out perform this Deere hands down, one, this Deere is out of it weight and power class they are trying to compare to, the Case is much larger and more powerful. Look up stuff before posting, ya wont sound so ignant!
case wins no matter what so go sh*T your pants case rules we have a cat mt865 cat and the tracks are 13 feet long 36 in wide that would be about the same as the jd, we have a 2008 case stx 535 tracks are 15 feet 30 inch do the math dum a** the track has more track on the ground so face it jd dum a**es quad will win every time
Just a little longer tracks on the Dere and i bet it would be a fair fight. The track area on the Case is larger, that's why it's winning. The Case still loses to an APC though.
@RealCadde No, it still wouldnt be fair. The case is winning because it has more WEIGHT to the ground under the four tracks then the deere does. Look up the weight on that thing compared to the deere. The deeres weight is distributed through out the whole tractor, the case's weight is only under each of the four tracks. Its physics man. Come on. One (Deere) is less compaction the other (Case) is traction. Thats why these kind of pulls meen absolutely nothing.
That John Deere weighs 40,000lbs while the Quadtrac weighs 58,000 pounds. Big difference, and im impressed with the deere for holding its ground so well! Im a die hard John Deere man, but love those beastly quads at the same time. @TheCaseihdriver That is a completely ignorant statement. A 4020 will outpull an 806 all day because the quad range transmission was far superior to the T/A transmission.
ThankGodImCountryBoy 5 months ago
not to mention that the quadtrac has a almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution when under full draw bar pull.. As your beloved Jd does not rendering those long tracks useless.. theres a reason the far superior Case IH Quadtrac holds the Ploughing World Record
@ANTONOPOULOSGIANNIS

i have to say, the quadtrac is superior in power. i certainly dont care about cost or maintainence because its not passed on to me, because im not a consumer, because i grow my own damn food.. and all of you should too.

as far as power yes the case out pulls a 9630 which is typical case all braun and no brains.the quad trac is a great primary tillage machine but lets see it wirk in rows or run over rough trrain at full speed.the truth is quad tracs are good for one thing and thats pulling but as far and spraying or cultivaving or getting into the field after planting its dead in the water. yay you won the pissing contest but not the intelligence one.

Challenger sat and spun.
sokodad 6 months ago
when put against each other the case quadtrack wins because it simply has more traction but if you put a 9630 with tires against the same case with rubber tires then it would be a very even fight but with the john deere having the tracks like a cat challenger , its like 2 wheel drive against 4 wheel drive.

john deere kills case longevity-wise
wandyamull 6 months ago
@wandyamull I would have to dissagree with this statement... operating costs on a Case are less then John Deere I have found out... My Case tractors have lasted longer and have had fewer repairs then my JD ones... also parts for Case tend to be less expensive then JD as well... this is my viewpoint having owned both kinds of tractor brands
cmajoen 6 months ago 14
@cmajoen hes right we tried john deere its twice the price to operate per hour and has more plastic on the deere the the case ih the deere is more expensive for more plastic
CJPWNSALL 6 months ago
@cmajoen thats weird we used to have three case tractors and a john deere: two 285s, a 270, and a 8220
the 270 completely crapped out on us, one 285 is constantly breaking something (i mean a bi-weekly ordeal), and one has caught fire, and the worst thing thats happened to the john deere is that the pto sensor comes unplugged every so often in the sunflowers
i also have to mention that theyre all about the same age the john deere isnt more than a year older than the cases
wandyamull 6 months ago
@cmajoen but i will say that in our experiences old case combines clean much better than john deere we have a 2388 that cleans many times better than any of the rentals weve had: a brand new mid sized deere, an old deere, and even a case 8010 (i know its case)
in the end we named john deere the best tractor company but case the best combine company (for where we are located)
granted this is for sorghum and sunflowers

The key design feature that you need to keep in mind is that the single track needs significant ballasting on the front of the tractor to keep the weight displacement spread evenly, where the 4 track system does not need that additional weight. If a single track system is insuffociently weighted on the front end, it will cause the majoity of the weight to be pulled to the rear of the unity and therefore cause more compaction.
cmajoen 6 months ago
This has been flagged as spam show
to mantain better track-to-soil contact, JD and Cat or "two track tractors" must add ballast (weight) to the front and to the side of the tractor.

HASSON454 7 months ago
@HASSON454 yes i did, i thought hmm.. the d9 surely will out pull it!
catanddeereD11T 7 months ago
its not a weight issue (there are added on weights on the JD if you look close) its not the fact that the tracks are the length of the tractor vs it being 4 seperate tracks and the 30 HP difference isnt going to add up to that bad of a beat... plain and simple, when it comes right down to it... CASE MAKES A BETTER TRACTOR!!
cmajoen 7 months ago
@cmajoen Those are more then likely 150 - 200 pound plates and he doesnt have that many on, maybe 4 maybe 6 at most, This would equal a 1200 pounds at 6 plates incase ya cant add. Even if it had a rack of 10, its only 2,000 pounds, still need 13,000 to get to the bare minimum of the case. now tell me where that makes up a 15,000 pound difference. Seriously? Yes, physics in track length, how many drives and weight applied to them make a huge difference in traction. Personally I dont like either.
duane2072 7 months ago

@cmajoen Ignorance is bliss in your "case". The John Deere is almost at its pulling capacity. In other words its lucky if it can even pull the weight it is. Go look up the specs before replying, wont sound so ignorant. Weight plays a huge roll in this, that is proven from watching the two going at it. Physics and trac design is what the game is about, if it doesnt matter that much then there would only be one design of tracks, Now that is PLAIN and SIMPLE.

Thats hardly scientific, the quadtrac mosy likely weights 2-3000 more pounds, it
was only pulling the deere slowly backwards, for most field purposes these two
tractors will pull nearly the same, was that other guy talking about the Red comp-

well i dont know why people are saying that case ih is a foreign tractor? one of the place wherethe IH steiger tractores are made and build in Fargo ND. get your facts strait.
bigcow29 9 months ago
@bigcow29 Case is a global company just like John Deere. Their tractors are made all over the world. All utility tractors under 65hp are made overseas somewhere. The Quadtrac is an American made machine.
TDubya5 8 months ago
@TDubya5 You said all utility tractors under 65hp are made overseas...if you're ever near Grovetown,GA, you may want to take tour of Deere's plant there where build such tractors.
AZTD1 8 months ago
@TDubya5 I guess you could say the Quadtrac is American made, it's just built by people employed by a foreign company. Which is why the profit goes to the foreign company too when you buy one. And I'm sure Fiat will be glad to take your money.
AZTD1 8 months ago
@AZTD1 I plan on taking the tour one day. I have talked to a local JD rep that has, but If I took it today I would see that the smallest tractor they make is 65 horsepower (respectively). I didn't need an internet search to know what's made in America. I have a firm grasp as to what I'm talking about. Look; Deere, CNH, AGCo, they're all global corporations that have employees worldwide. They don't care about "made in America" as much as we do. Waterloo Iowa just ain't what it used to be.
TDubya5 8 months ago
@TDubya5 If I understand you correctly, you said a JD rep told you Deere's Grovetown, GA plant doesn't built "under 65hp" tractors? Ummm, thats all they build there. You can watch them being built right here on youtube...look it up.
AZTD1 8 months ago
@AZTD1 No, you don't understand anything correctly. I said there is no American made utility tractor under 65 horsepower. I am fully aware of the "M" series John Deere tractors. The other utility tractors are made in India and the fancy sub-compacts are made in some freaking where that isn't America. Yanmar powered, you figure it out.
TDubya5 8 months ago
@TDubya5 Ok, I don't know how many times I need to explain this, but Deere builds "under 65hp" tractors in Grovetown, GA. Go to search here in YouTube and type in "Deere Grovetown, GA" and see them being built if you don't believe me.
AZTD1 8 months ago
@AZTD1 CNH is headquartered in Illinois. I know that there is too many foreign interests in them to name, but do you really think Deere is worthy of your "All American" praise? Deere employs almost 2x the number of workers CNH employs. How many of those jobs do you think are held by Americans? Deere has partially sold out the American worker a long time ago and are not worthy of the "buy American" cause they are based in America.
TDubya5 8 months ago
@TDubya5 Sorry, but CNH is headquartered in the Netherlands, and owned by Fiat. I haven't looked up the data on jobs at Deere yet, but I'm betting the vast majority are held by Americans - just look at where all the factorys are located. I know it's a tough pill to swallow for some American farmers, and I sure wish it was NOT true...but the fact remains, CaseIH is a foreign owned company.
AZTD1 8 months ago
@AZTD1 No, you're wrong again. CNH Global's headquarters are in Burr Ridge Illinois. I don't know for certain, but it may be the test facility of the original Farmall farm. You're not telling me anything I don't know about the Netherlands and Fiat, but you should know Fiat is majority stakeholder and not the sole stakeholder in CNH Global.
TDubya5 8 months ago
@TDubya5 From Chicago Business cached May 11, 2007 "CNH GLOBAL TO MOVE HQ TO BURR RIDGE."
TDubya5 8 months ago
@TDubya5 From Forbes: "As Fiat owns 89.0% of CNH, the stock faces the risk of limited float and liquidity.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, CNH Global N.V. (CNH or the company) is a manufacturer of agricultural tractors, combines, and construction equipment. "
AZTD1 8 months ago
@TDubya5 This is from CNH's own website; "CNH Global N.V. (“CNH,” and formerly New Holland N.V.) is incorporated in The Netherlands under Dutch law. As a Netherlands corporation, CNH files its annual financial statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the U.S. on Form 20-F, rather than on Form 10-K." You are correct, Fiat is not the sole stakeholder - it only has 89% ownership!
AZTD1 8 months ago
@AZTD1 You're not telling me anything I don't know about the Netherlands. If anything you have reinforced my statement about the agribusiness being global and not local. I'm correct in everything I have said. You're trying to modify the discussion to not admit being wrong. CNH headquarters, dutch owned or not is in Burr Ridge Illinois. John Deere does not make a pure American utility tractor under 65 hp in America. With that I'm done. The magic youtube vid to prove me wrong doesn't exist
TDubya5 8 months ago
@TDubya5 CNH is run from Netherlands according to CNH, which gets it's orders from Fiat. The truth will set you free. :-)
I can understand your frustration watching the youtube video of Deere manufacturing the "under 65hp" tractors in Georgia after you thought it wasn't true.
AZTD1 8 months ago
@AZTD1 Nope you're wrong again. Those are classified as "COMPACT" utility tractors and not pure utility tractors, that's Deere's classification, not mine. Let's see no 2wd option, mid-mount pto option; doesn't sound like a utility tractor to me. Sounds like a compact. Also; the vid you are refering to shows workers putting on wheels and tires? Where's the foundry? Where's the machining? Maybe, just maybe that's done in another factory overseas and they do the final assembly in Georgia.IDK
TDubya5 8 months ago
@bigcow29 The facts were correct, maybe you didn't read them correctly. Some CaseIH product IS built in ND, but CaseIH is a foreign owned company - not American owned.
AZTD1 8 months ago

Even he admits defeat.

zCOUNTRYBOY4EVERz 10 months ago
It doesnt matter color. These two arent even a match. The Quad track has more weight to the ground under the four seperate tracks. The John Deere has less weight to the ground under the two long tracks. Its not a HP thing its a traction thing. Do you see the big red one pull the big green one? The John Deere having less Foot pounds of pressure to the ground wins hands down in less field compaction over the Case however.Thats the reason to own a tracked tractor.Less field compaction.
duane2072 10 months ago
@duane2072 you would be incorrect in this statement.. you are right however that the case tractor does weigh more but the lbs per sq inch on a 535 is less then that then a 9630T... which in turn means less ground pressure and less compaction.... but in all reality all its showing is how much bette the Case does in real use situations.... Overall Case is gunna win 90% of the time in all situations where u put it up against a MFD or a 4wd or whatever...

case wins no matter what so go sh*T your pants case rules we have a cat mt865 cat and the tracks are 13 feet long 36 in wide that would be about the same as the jd, we have a 2008 case stx 535 tracks are 15 feet 30 inch do the math dum a** the track has more track on the ground so face it jd dum a**es quad will win every time
farcryf 11 months ago
Just a little longer tracks on the Dere and i bet it would be a fair fight. The track area on the Case is larger, that's why it's winning. The Case still loses to an APC though.
RealCadde 11 months ago
@RealCadde No, it still wouldnt be fair. The case is winning because it has more WEIGHT to the ground under the four tracks then the deere does. Look up the weight on that thing compared to the deere. The deeres weight is distributed through out the whole tractor, the case's weight is only under each of the four tracks. Its physics man. Come on. One (Deere) is less compaction the other (Case) is traction. Thats why these kind of pulls meen absolutely nothing.
