  • Thank you for posting this video. It really helped. Can you tell me exactly which machine you are using? Is it the Big Shot "Stampin Up" or the regular Big Shot?

    Thanks again ~ Olame

  • @olemae they're the same thing.

  • @PrairiePaperandInk Thanks for clarifying!

  • thankyou so much for sharing this video where can we buy the MFT? dies??

  • @3till50 I bought mine from allthatscrapsDOTcom but tons of other retailers carry them as well.

  • Great video and so helpful!! thanks!!

  • Thanks sooo much for this vid! I shop Walmart weekly, as it and Meijer are our only big stores here....I've been scrapping for 12 yrs now and have been trying really hard to venture out of my box....I also have the BIGSHOT and have bought felt before, but didn't know that there was another type available. THANKS for the comparison video!

  • interesting, love this, thanks for the information! I love the wool stuff, the colors are so beautiful. I will check out the web sight, and your video's are fun, you look like you are having a great time!

  • no sweetie, the card stock doesn't go under the felt, it goes on the top of the plates, i loved the regular felt, I've seen the stuff with making flowers and loved it, I can't wait to find some wool felt in the states, I LOVE your video, you are a really pretty girl and the video's are always so fun! Thanks for theh help

  • @iwannastamp adding cardstock on top of the plates as a shim will only help so much trust me I've tried it - it still won't help the die to cut through the acrylic felt (some of the deeper dies like Sizzix BIGZ can cut through regardless of the type) and yes it still helps to have a piece of cardstock between the felt and the plate (so plate, die, felt, cardstock, plate) in order to press the felt into the die as much as possible. I'm glad you're liking the videos!

  • buy a set of the plastic shims, or a lightweight card stock on the top of the plate and it will cut through. Good luck, great video!

  • @iwannastamp mmmmm no it won't - I showed how it cut THROUGH the cardstock that was placed underneath the acrylic felt - and yet the acrylic felt wasn't cut all the way through. I've tried all sorts of configurations when attempting to diecut acrylic felt and in the end it's not worth the hassle. I would rather just buy the wool felt for a little more money and have easier and better looking results! :o)

  • Great tips! Thank you. I wonder what Paper Trey Ink felt is like. Have you tried their felt? TFS
