@thefameGaGa231 This is true. But Eminem is overcoming is problems. Manson is making them worse. You can tell his lyrics have no soul, or less than they used to. He doesn't even want to try anymore. Like the last two albums make me wonder if he even wrote the lyrics for his old albums. They are that bad. Since Golden Age it all went downhill.
This may be a late response, but he is likely to come out with a ne album around 2011-2012 themed around death metal. Go to MansonWiKi for news on MM.
I think the Best album was Holy Wood, 19 tracks of raw emotion and ideas, Mechanical Animals Felt like a prelude, antichrist superstar felt like the end of the world, but Holy Wood was all the old becoming all the new..
nah, i liked holy wood when i bought it last year but it has since worn down on me and i wish i had actually bought this album instead when i was trying to decide
I agree with you in part. I think Holy Wood was one of his Best. Antichrist Superstar was an apocolypse coming from the depth's of this world created by Manson, and Holy Wood was something starting emotion extending from that same hell Antichrist Superstar started it's apocolypse.
Oh,and this is best Intro ever!
PS. I still am not sure how Holy Wood aquired track number 6 as it's subtitle. Though it is very fitting. I just don't see it on the album cover, so just curious.
Ya, I agree with Eqerspurge. I'm not familiar with GAOG because I've been slowly buying all of his albums straight out and I have yet to buy this one. I doubt if any one will read this though since the last comment was posted 2 weeks ago. So alright.
Actually I think that this was a comeback album so it was made with money in mind but was still awesome lyrics, crazy guitar and new styles so kept classic. Eat Me Drink Me was more a Brian Warner album talking about love and stuff but I think is more essential than GAOG.
The only real problem with this album was that the guitar riff during the choruses for sAINT and Slutgarden, as well as the prechorus for Vodevil had the exact same chords, progression and structure. That's a new low, to not come up with new riffs for every song.
No way, come on their all good but this wasn't his best. Hollywood had awesome guitar, more meaning and emotion put into it, had loads of tracks and some real classics on.
he has said his next album will be something like death metal. go to his website, and you'll see he's working on something new
