ouch im republican and i have to admit this dude got totally ripped apart. this is what comes of uninformed people attempting to act like they are. same thing happens all the time with the anti gun politicians, there they go spouting lies only to have no real answer when they are confronted with facts. It saddens me that politicians in this country can be so uninformed on the things they are pushing so hard to forward.
LMFAO you morons play out like the shittiest reality show on network TV. God bless AMERITARD! Land of the TARD, home of the SHEEP! You get what you fat, methane spewing bovines deserve, as I sit back, and enjoy the show! XD
"Thats a question for historians." Yes...bring out the historians. its been 2 long years, and I just cant remember any of the events leading up to this war.
Should we get be in Iraq? Sure.....get some more oil Republican idiots before the administration gets your asses out.
Interesting how the Republican presidents have an extremely lowered I.Q. overall compared to Democratic presidents....just saying.....guess intelligence doesn't mean much anymore since our country elected someone who can't speak English for 8 years.
My God, that Van Taylor guy scares the hell out of me and I'll tell you why......
That moron spent that entire interview repeating the same lines about Al Qaeda........he has no idea what he's talking about, that much is abundantly obvious. I'm surprised he didn't start talking about catching the "evil doers". He's probably has never even heard of Sunni and Shia....I bet he was thinking..."Didn't they sing that song 'I got you babe'?, but what does that have to do with this?"
this guy is running in tx for a seat in the senate now- i hope he gets shipped out to Afghanistan before the election- he was born in 79 so hes 31 now and i just saw an ad on tv for his senate run... where dose he get the money? he has to be a neo con just like the rest of em--his rhetoric is not liberty minded at all, its like he didnt hear one word ron paul said...at the end of his ad it said "TEA PARTY APPROVED"--and thats when you know they have been hijacked too
MSNBC ratings are in the toilet and any sheep who still watch this crap are bottom-feeding morons who should be stripped of their right to vote until they boost their IQ to double digits.
I'm a left-leaning guy and I usually find Republicans to be idiots. But Chris Matthews is just brutal. I love how he always shuts up when the Democrat talks, then starts yelling and interrupting the Republican when he talks. Why can't the media just be neutral? We don't need an anchorman to go down and endorse somebody. Just deliver the news and ask the questions. Don't just pick on the Republicans and scream at him to make the Republican look dumb, while the Democrat gets favorable questions.
LOL!! It's funny to watch to see how many stupid people are out there.
If you believe what Matthews says, you're an idiot.
Matthews says, in his opening comment, that there are much more Iraq veterans opposing the war, running for office than who support the war. This is pure bullshit!
According to the last Presidential election, Ron Paul got more money in campaign contributions from active duty military personnel than any other candidate... and he was againt the war in Iraq...
Believe what he is saying? Are you a moron or something? He is asking questions and using reports as his reference. You understand references and how they work? Chris Matthews is a good journalist and what cracks me up is that you aren't used to good journalism. In fact you think he is a political hack for asking hard questions to a Republican, who by definition, is a political hack. You are a moron sir and if we had a test in order to vote. You would fail.
Don't lie. It makes you a bad person. In 2005, Nine Veterans were running for Office ~ eight of them as Democrats. Your welcome for those facts which are listed above, reading them should make you slightly less ignorant.
I find it funny that people assume that they can make a totally legitimate character judgment about Mr. Taylor with this video as their primary (or only) evidence. Statements like "Wow, this guy is fucktard" are funny to me because they are so untrue. Though this video reflects poorly on him, all of you who deem him an asshole and retard should be ashamed of yourselves - he fought for you in Iraq whether you like it or not...try getting up off your fat judgmental asses and serving your country.
Republican retards don't seem to understand that Iraqis as a whole don't want Americans in their country. Its a civil war between the Shiites and the Sunni with the US Army sandwiched in the middle. Al Qaeda has almost zero influence in Iraq and is seen as an outsider faction by most of the other resistance groups, and it is because most of the Al Qaeda membership in Iraq is made up of Saudis and other nationalities.
Jeezuz this republican "soldier" is like a fucking machine, its like there is no life or thought behind his eyes, he's just a talking head. Unreal.....this is supposed to convince people? Its creepy he was like a droning clone, coming back to the same damn thing over and over. Republicans are on a whole other level of idiotic.
Van Taylor has been to Iraq and he thinks he's an expert? I've been living in Washington DC for the past 3 years, but I don't consider myself an expert in politics or the culture. Obviously Mr. Van Taylor received some sound bites that the GOP fed him and he thought that it would be enough. Sadly mistaken. I hope he is defeated in his run for office.
k in my honest opinion... and no offense to anyone, but this clip really does prove that the media has a liberal bias. I feel that there is, in fact, a civil war going on in Iraq that we started because we took out a dictator who solved his problems with extermination, thus scaring the entire population to conduct war against each other. in my opinion, we should not abandon those people until we give them a fair chance at freedom. i do agree that the Iraq war is being completely mishandled.
Semperfidelis, MSNBC does have a bias. It's anti-neocon just as FOX is the pro-neocon network.
We have given the Iraqis a chance for freedom, infact several chances. What have they done with it?? Our soldiers and Marines have accomplished every objective before them. What more must they do??
And what about Afghanistan and Pakistan??
I don't use the word hate lightly. But I hate the neocons for what they did to our country. Never again should they be trusted with power.
Yes. The assholes who are destroying the planet should have to answer the hard questions. Would you prefer it if he asked Mitt Romney what his favorite color is and Hillary why she aligns herself with the CFR? Two parties......cut from the same cloth. The cloth of deceit and profiteering for the international bankers.
The problem with doctors are they are doctors...why go to the dentist if your foot is hurting? When the country is broken you go to political leaders, not people who have no experience in politics.
matthews show is called hardball because he doesn't take b.s. from either side. he actually asked the SAME EXACT QUESTIONS to both sides in this video, if you listen to him at 3:03. the difference is that taylor gave him bullshit. when the democrat responded, he gave taylor the opportunity to defend himself, and he couldn't. don't apologize for taylor's idiocy, it will rub off on you.
"clearly, fighting in america means that they wouldn't fight us somewhere else." Is this guy on crack? The war is keeping them so busy they can't spare a couple guys to hijack a plane? Excuse me while I slam my head repeatedly into a brick wall.
i love it at the end where van say and if want someones who supports the.. and then chris goes i think we heard it. van did not know what he was talking about he was just giving fox news slogans as his case.
This man Van Taylor is a idiot he is the king of sound bites fight 'em there not here well Chartoff says their coming cause of his his gut says thier coming. what a moron and you are one if you vote for him . clueless !!!

hardball should be less concerened about finding al queda and more concerned with the bigger story: finding a republican that actually served in Iraq.
This interview reminds me of a football yet to be played. The Univ. of Florida Gators vs. The Univ. of the Lame and Blind. Complete BLOWOUT does not begin to describe the beating.
so they [al-qaida] came in since we went in.... 3,000 people a day are getting killed per day by the Shia and the Sunni... who's killing those people... is that al-qaida doing that? ... I'm asking the question, why did we attack Iraq? ... It seems to me that 60% of the people in Iraq are Sunni... they don't like being ruled by the 20% who are Shia... WELL.. for once in his bullying, interrupting life, Chris Matthews seems to have learned to ask the right questions.
Whoa. How long until professional journalists start saying stuff like "PWN'D!" on air when this sort of stuff happens? Chris Matthews needs a guy behind him saying "WHUT!" after every sentence, like rappers get.
I agree 100% that Taylor was losing the debate here, and for this reason: He did not know why we went to war in Iraq. However, I know that no liberal can beat any conservative in this debate when the con can articulate properly the real reason we went to Iraq.
3) Because Halliburton stood to make millions (if not billions) of dollars in exclusive, no-bid (re)construction contracts in Iraq
2) Because the neo-conservative movement is bent on taking over the Middle East and its oil fields -- whatever the price in spilled blood and inflated deficits
1) Because Dubya wanted his own little war, just like Daddy did! (And this was planned out BEFORE he got elected in 2000.)
i would say domination. and oil. and if you don't believe me why don't you tell that to the laws trying to be passed that gives big foreign oil companies the rights to exploit iraqi oil
I don't know if you can say he's an idiot for not providing answers to Mathew's series of questions pertaining to the invasion and occupation of Iraq. There is just no rational reason to be given that is based on fact. Doesn't matter which Republican is asked that question they have no sound reasoning when dealing with this subject.
ouch im republican and i have to admit this dude got totally ripped apart. this is what comes of uninformed people attempting to act like they are. same thing happens all the time with the anti gun politicians, there they go spouting lies only to have no real answer when they are confronted with facts. Killed innocent people?! Why do you defame his character? And by the way, how do you even know that?
suryavajra 4 years ago
fuck does that mean?

For oil of course.

Plenty of reasons -- and all of them BAD!

Some day soon the word "Republican" will carry more of a stigma than the word LIBERAL, just wait!
