  • Quakers usually sell for at least 225 dollars!

  • that blue one is so pretty!!! I have one.. but now I want 3. Is it normal that they are so mean? Literally my whole house is afraid of my bird except for me. Glad to see that yours get along :)

  • @BluTwilight8 YES! Quakers are extremely high spirited. My Amazon (who has to be at least 4x the size of a Quaker) is terrified of mine. Our cat once tried to sneak up on her and got a vicious peck to the nose. That said she loves to cuddle and dance and sing cute little songs.

  • They look funny ^__^ my mom has 3 of them in if I was video taping them they would have attacked me already then laugh lol.

  • Is it possible for two green quakers to havea blue one?

  • Cuteness has no limit with birds... @_@

  • i have a blue one just like that but i can tell hes bigger

  • i had a green, named him QP lol, couldn't think of a good name. but he died, i miss him. they are expensive here in indiana. he was 230. and the blues are over 400 here. but if you live where they are more common, like florida where they are just flying around outdoors, they are very cheap there i hear. im jealous you got 3 together and one a blue. i would love to have 3 blues! lol

    peace,

    barbara

  • i have 1 from a parrot rescue with a damaged beak. i've had him for about 4 months and its been a challenge getting him to warm up to me but over the last few weeks i've made a lot of progress and i really like him :)

  • ok, so i caught both of my quaker parrots from the wild. I got luck because i caught a pair, and they ... made love. so i bought them a nest and all that clacium for the egg. Did you train yours when you bought them andd if you did how long did you wait to let them out of the cage and trust that they won't fly away and or bite you ?

  • @iCarlos29 lol dude, why would you catch them from the wild ? be happy they are still living in the wild. Put them back in the wild dude, poor birds.

  • I have 1 I paid 45

the power company FPL has to destroy their huge stick nests because they build them around the transformers of the poles.

  • OMG CUTENESS OVERLOAD!

But they must be one hell of a job to take care of, no? Just our one quaker demands so much attention.

  • as you have 3 quakers do u clip them cause i dont no if should do it as i am getting Quakers

  • I have 2...they are wonderful! I love them so much!

  • Oh, a blue one! I have a green one, she is getting very old now but still tenacious!

  • These parrots r so cuuute ^_^ i <3 them!

Speaking of number of pets, I had 10+ budgies; 2 females had babies; was a hard time with all of them. Imagine, when one flew in the room, they all begun to fly, landing all over lol. I had to clean a lot, but there was always dirt. They all were used to humans, they were so cute:) I can say that parrots are great parents, a female got sick and her male took care of her babies, the rest of eggs and her until she got strong again.

  • the quaker in the middle reminds me of goosebumps before to died

  • Are they mixed in genders or are they all a specific gender

  • i have one quakers parrot and he wont shut up and rearly even talks only if hes mad or going to bed

  • @united966 Mine too, Jake only talks when no one is in the room, when he angry, or when he's going to bed.

  • i only have one-she lays 8 eggs every few months-(they dont hatch)

  • i have 2 quakers and i wanted a blue one for a long time we saw some at the store today and our quakers laid eggs

  • I never seen a blue one before.....

  • I love quakers they're such great parrots. Too bad they're not legal to own without a license where I live now. If anyone is looking into getting one check your state laws first their may be restrictions.

  • @19thepyrochilibean

    Well that's nice to know : )

He's worth the money anyway, no doubt.

  • They need alot of attention if you only have one. They are very intelligent and don't like to be alone.

  • i want to get 2 quakers but the breeder said i should get 1 if i really want it to bond with me more, is that true? cant i bond with both the same amount ?

  • Yes, but they will bond with eachother more than they want to bond with you. On the bright side, they wouldn't scream for attention quite so often, cause they want alot of it.

  • If you have more than one Quaker, they tend to bond with each other and form a flock type of mentality instead of bonding with their owners. I've had several of them and it's always been the case with me.

  • I have a Quaker whit a BlueCrown, even though she is in love with the BlueCrown, she does love me and interact with me, However, I would like it so much better if she was alone. She cannot be without Loopy and she gets really upset so I recommend getting only one

  • @canigeta7 No just because they will bond with each other not you. I have one and she really bonds with everyone in my family. But if you get two you dont have to pay as much attention to them.

  • i bought mine for $120 :)

  • i found mine

  • @xRedKatana $120.... wow

  • @xRedKatana got mine for free lol bcuz the mom kicked it off the tree to early n it broke both of his legs, so i picked it up n took it to the vet fixed him up n kept him, oh doo u have any pointers on how to stop him from biting, i think its cuz hes becoming a teen or w.e?

  • @xRedKatana CHEAP! wdf man was he an old fart? i got 4 and nearly 1k...

  • how much this cost ?????

  • like 300 each

  • Hahahhaa, at 0:34! Such sweet birds, they look so happy. ^^

  • I cant have 2 of mine together, the older one attacks the younger one.

  • u should put annonations and put what they r thinking

  • Instead put voices...

  • that blue parrot is so cute

  • the middle one is like.... "dont say a word... they'll use it against us ... wait for the lawyer to come... " lol :P

  • hey guys i got a 1 year and like 5 month quaker and today i got a new quaker its like 6 months i say...anyone know if its a good idea to put them together....? help please or advice? thanks

  • id say the age gap is too much to put them together. they will fight

  • u are never supposed to keep two birds together in the same cage unattended if u get them at different times... jealousy will cause death to the weaker one... but if they do get along they might forget you and bite you to get away. just how it works sorry =(

  • I didn't know there were blue quakers :D

    <33

  • I have 3 Quakers too but i got oaky 1 and a half years old first and then i recently got 2 new ones twiggy and ziggy 8 monthes old i tried to put them together but twiggy and ziggy the new ones tormented oaky so we had them seprerated any advice on how to make them like each other

  • id say the age gap is too much to put them together. they will fight. my advice, keep them apart.

  • is it true when u put 2 together they become mean because i have one already and id love another one but i dont want it to get mean- er lol

  • Blue Quakers are so pretty! I have a Quaker but the poor baby is naked! He only has feathers on his head and wings... he was owned previously by someone who tormented him so he plucked his own feathers :( But, he's still a huge trip, he talks so much!

  • oh wow, will the feathers grow back?

  • aww I hope his feathers would grow back ):

  • its funy when that one curios parrot shoves his toe in his ear while the other two make out!

  • how do u know what sex they are ? are they all males or mixed, by the way they are sooooooooooooooo cute!!

  • i just bought 2 quakers. one was born in february 2008 and the other in june 2008.

since they are already bonded, any advice on getting them trained and talking? the older one is very protective of the younger one.

  • I did not realize when I answered you on another vid that they were previously bonded. Any other time I would say cage them seperately, like I had told you, but if they are already bonded, I would be leary of separating them as it may cause undue stress, which will not result in the happy, talking quakers that you want bonded to you. Next time think about the purchase first and make sure you factor in the behaviour/lifestyle of the pet you are getting and what you want out of your pet.

  • thanks for replying.i realized when i bought them that they were already bonded but i had no heart to only buy 1 of them so i'm definitely not seperating them now. i've had parakeets who reacted the same way so i sort of knew it would be difficult.

at this point i'm just going to work with them as a pair and maybe things will work out. if they don't become great conversationalists, then i'll just love them for the beautiful birds they are and let them enjoy each other.

  • Do you have separate cages for each quaker? The bar spacing looks a little small & perch/thin, but can't tell too much from the camera angle. I definitely admire you for being able to handle 3. I have 3 myself, but only 1 is a Q. I have an Amazon & a macaw (over 6 yrs now), and the Quaker is definitely more difficult than the MACAW or amazon. They eat a lot more and make a lot more demands & noise :P. He lets us know when he wants something :P

  • i like the blue one

  • my quaker does the same thing. he talks all the time but once theres a camera... nothin!

  • i've never filmed him but when im trying to show my friends he'll be so quiet

  • how is it having 3? i only have 1 and he can be a handful.

  • @skygirl2299 well u never know

  • lol when the left bird put his head down and the other 1 pecks him

  • :D this remides me of my quaker buddy, As a matter of fact, the on e on the allthe way left, Look identical to buddy :D check out my video of her in a bath, And compare the two, :D 5 stars and subscribed

  • ahhhh.. what a cuties!!!

    Ellen

  • They are so cute! The green ones remind me of my Quaker Toby. He loves his name he just said it right now. :)
