  • Umm, WSG, it the "Australian Labor Party" , and as far as what they have done for working people, the got rid of WorkChoices, the single most hated industrial relation policy in the history of Australia, which saw many low income workers have their wages and conditions reduced even more and their capacity to increase their wages stopped cold.

  • yes the dinosaurs of the liberal party t-rex himself tony mad monk caveman warren truss fred flintstone joe hockey wilmar julie bishop barney barnaby Joice bedrock is alive and well under the libs a party that for 11 yrs under lazarus bc destroyed workers rights to please the already wealthy construction companies with laws not suited to alcatraz unless you a murderer 6 months jail or $22000 fines for workers cause they stood up for their rights and went on strike wonderful laws in a democracy

  • Tony Abbott = AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST JOKE

    *PENALTY RATES made optional

*Wants 1 Billion CUT from PBS - medicines for cancer, transplant & other patients

    *11 Billion Costing Cover Up

*30 Billion BLACKHOLE in his BOGUS Climate policy that no scientist/economist support

*Against Flood Levy & wants a Childcare Levy

*Wild Rivers for Mining giants to mine on Aboriginal soil.

*Millions in donations from Tobbacco Industry then against PP

*Against the Mining tax & raking in millions from the Mining Industry

  • the asylum seeker fact is hilarious, people need to stop passing judgement on this issue before knowing the facts "send the que jumpers home, stop the boats etc" is about as childish and ignorant as you can get. It doesnt help when biased papers such as the herald sun (why on earth would andrew bolt be writing his drivel in it if it wasnt liberal party rhetoric?) keep bypassing the facts to sensationalise things and sink the boot into labor.

  • tony is such a douche. =/

  • i agree with these but let me just say on a personal note that as a school student, the laptops are absolute shit. for our HSC we are writing, not typing and it takes away the necessary quickened hand-writing speed. they also break down regularily and now that my school has made it compulsory to use, i am screwed.

  • I was seriously going to lodge the protest vote i.e. lodge a blank ballot paper as none of them deserve my vote. Then I had a shiver when thinking about abbot being in power. ugghh. That was enough to change my mind and fill the paper...

  • Great vid!

  • Da if you vote for Liberals on what happens to Rudd, then you are a person like Abbott a idiot.

  • If you like this, then watch him get butchered on the 7:30 report. It was painful, for him. If only it was physical.....

  • RE: GST advertising.

I'm a pretty staunch Labor voter but am being swayed by the Greens' platform.

Having said that. I used to work for the ATO when the GST was introduced and the estimated collection of GST was way off the mark. Actual GST collected was about twice what was estimated. So the advertising campaign was easily paid for by the extra revenue.

  • what the hell has the Australian "Labour" party done for Australian Laborers?

    sweet FA and nothing.

    Hopeless misrepresentation, as per usual.

  • @WellSightedGentleman and what have the Liberal party done for labourers? The ABCC is the first thing that comes to my mind

  • @WellSightedGentleman

go do a diploma for economics or something...

  • @WellSightedGentleman Please tell me what is so great about the Liberal Party. From the get-go, all Tony has wanted to do is bring back Work Choices (terrifying) - Which is going to piss a hell of a lot of people off; and his idea of "stopping the boats" - Hello? You do realize this is a religiously driven moron who is going to do nothing but deny individuals their basic human rights.

But apart from me thinking Abbott is freaking nut... It's not all about the person, it's about the policies.

  • @WellSightedGentleman I agree but what has the Liberal party done for Liberalism. Not even Fraser will associate himself with them anymore.

  • @WellSightedGentleman

By the same token, how is the "liberal" party in any way liberal? They are a bunch of conservative xenophobes. What's in a name, anyway?

  • @WellSightedGentleman Try giving women the vote in Australia, equal pay, no fault divorce, medicare, university education, superannuation, the 8 hour working day.... need I go on? It's the "Labor" Party read a fucking book and don't vote.

  • Haha. I wanna see Mr. Abbott dance to this song.

  • rebeccak971 I just hope that 50% of Australians over 18 think like we do.

or as Mr Keating said with tony abbott becomes prime minster god helps us all

  • @1969firefox sadly my friend i dont think they do, people have short memories and are just plain stupid, no one would remember the disaster the health system was when abbott left the portfolio. None of his policies he has announced will benefit australia at all, if people actually understood this instead of being fed and influenced by the scare tactic bullshit from abbott and his cronies almost every second than abbott will remain where he deserves to remain and that is in the opposition.

  • @1969firefox I hope over 50% think that way, he's a f***ing nut-job i want him to get kick out of the country

  • Damnit, Australia - did you learn nothing from the amazing Backstab of 2010? Julia "Brutus" Gillard vs Kevin "Julius" Rudd? How many knives have to stick out of Rudd's back for you people to realize that we're not American, we don't vote for a PM, we vote for PARTY TO FORM GOVERNMENT! If you don't live in Warringah, you don't vote for Tony Abbott. Period. We vote for a party, based on PARTY Policy!

For the record, I'm not voting Liberal, just sick of hearing this BS.

  • @midnightquills Do you honestly think voters don't understand how the system works? Do I need to rename the video "15 reasons not to vote Liberal therefore increasing the chances of Tony Abbott becoming PM" to appease you? Ugh...boring

  • @rebeccak971 Most of them don't - hence we had a bunch of people whining "I didn't vote for Julia Gillard!" when she and the Labor Powerbrokers backstabbed Kevin to put her into power. All I'm saying is that it's party policies that are most important, it's not a popularity contest like the American Presidential campaigns - and yes, many Australians do seem to think it's the same process.

I just wish there was a decent alternative to Lib/Nat vs Lab/Green this election...

  • @midnightquills I disagree. Even tho we don't vote directly for leaders for many people the leader who will ultimately be PM as a result of their vote has a huge influence. I could not consider voting Lib while Abbott is running the show. His past actions when they were in government, as well as his beliefs (about religion/women/workers etc.) pose too much of a threat for me to place my vote that will lead to him being one of the most powerful people in the country.

  • @rebeccak971 And to that point I agree with you - the problem I'm facing this election is that I genuinely cannot will myself to believe anything Gillard says, either. Her actions a month ago leave me extremely sour. I don't want either of them leading our country. Abbott's too out of touch, and Gillard's shot any respect I would have had for her. It's going to come down to one of the two, though, so for me it's going to end up being based on party policies rather than leaders.

  • Awesome Vid, totally on par, could go for another 15 too!

  • left a message for Aussiepolitics....If this person is a Liberal supporter thank god I support Labour!

  • @TheFranjy Thank you, the guy seriously has some issues! I'd suggest blocking him or he'll probably start bombarding you with similar abuse.

  • Check out this personal message that "AUSSIE POLITICS" sent me: " SLUT you terminated this conversation when you blocked me because your narrow brainwashed mind could not cope with someone actually showing you proof of how wrong you are. well this shall be goodbye because this account shall be censored too because you just cant cope with someone not being as brainwashed as you. grow up you stupid bitch and stop sucking rudds balls and licking julia's clit." .....AUSSIE POLITICS...disgusting

  • hey..Rebeccak971...this is brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!

  • @TheFranjy Thanks! :)

  • We the undersigned economists are convinced by the evidence that the coordinated policies of the Australian Labor Government have prevented the Australian economy from a deep recession and prevented a massive increase in unemployment. Unlike most OECD economies we have come out of the Global Financial Crisis and the subsequent world recession with only one quarter of negative GDP growth and a smaller increase in unemployment.

  • @AussiePolitics Still waiting on that data eh?

  • @FalkenBest Not sure that I like the use of the term faggott, but totally agree with you on everyting else!

  • Tony Abbott is a shill for the Family First party who is a Shill for the Australian Christian Lobby

  • Its a clear choice ,First woman pm time for change, Every one should vote for Julia ,No matter what ,.Change is good.

  • What's wrong with this moron that he feels "threatened" by homosexuality? For homophobics the real fear is that they might find they themselves have homosexual tendencies. Homophobia is a neurosis. We don't need neurotic politicians. I can't believe anyone takes this guy seriously - he's clueless!!

  • @Blackgeoff1 Totally agree! I'm still completely perplexed as to how this guy has risen to a position where he might actually be running the country in a few weeks.

  • Great vid!

  • moving to canada

  • I'm for labour, but I have a massive urge to vote liberal just because of the absolutely disgusting way that gillard betrayed her fellow party member PM Rudd... She doesn't deserve to be in the position she's in, and if she'll knife her own colleagues in the back, what will she do to the average Australian joe?

  • @DaCurbstomper Yes I feel sorry for Rudd too, but as a Labor supporters if that's what it took to bring support back to the Labor party and keep Tony Abbott out - then we just have to deal with it. And Tony Abbott also did the same backstabbing to Malcolm Turnbull. I bet the Libs are kicking themselves now - Turnbull is a much more palletable alternative to Abbott

  • @DaCurbstomper It wasn't Julia Gillard who stabbed him in the back. She never advised him to abdicate until the senate voted him out. She could've come in way earlier and had him out with the support of the party if she'd wanted. I think she made the best of a bad situation. It's just such a shame that it's swaying people to vote for the Libs because of it, because seriously, knifing the PM is nothing compared to Tony Abbott's backwards way of thinking.

  • @DaCurbstomper Yeah I feel sorry for Kevin too, but Gillard would have to do a lot worse than that to make me vote Liberal with Tony Abbott running the show

  • Very funny video, and I vote liberal!!!!!

If you are getting exploited as a worker, try being an EMPLOYER, or a small business person... THEN YOU WILL KNOW EXPLOITATION!!!!!!

  • @theprivateer83 You wouldn't be the first Liberal supporter to think that Tony Abbott is worth a laugh.

In regard to worker/employer balance of power - I believe that the Fair Work Act strikes the balance pretty spot on in comparison to WorkChoices. Treating employees fairly is part and parcel of being in business in Australia - if small business owners can't manage this, they should go run their business in a 3rd world country and pay workers $2 a day

  • @rebeccak971 @rebeccak971 did you ever look up the statistics on workchoices and their effect? you know, the FACTS not the labor bullshit.

fact 1: DISMISSALS WENT DOWN. when workchoices were implemented, fewer people were being fired. kind of shows what utter bullshit you and labor have been peddling about these unfair laws leading to everyone losing their jobs

fact 2: AVERAGE WAGE WENT UP

    3. UNEMPLOYMENT WENT DOWN.

    statistically speaking workchoices was GOOD.

  • @AussiePolitics 1. I needn't look up statistics; I am one after being unfairly sacked while on maternity leave.

    2. The average wage went down, not up: "The average weekly earnings (AWE) survey reveals that, during the six months to August 2006, average weekly ordinary-time earnings for full-time adult employees (AWOTE), in real terms (that is, after adjusting for prices), fell by 1.1 per cent."

PS: Thanks for your "pro-WorkChoices" comment - it does wonders for the anti-Liberal campaign

  • any fool who votes lib may as well sign an agreement to leave as requestedm fair or unfair it really doesnt matter

  • It amazes me that Phoney Tony is even in the race. The poor creature. A non-contender for PM under normal circumstances .. way too wacky. BUT - the Labor RightWingMachine scares me to death. I used to be in the Labor Party back when I was young & idealistic .. but then I realised I was amongst a pit of vipers .. the NSW RightWingMachine .. & I got out, double-quick. Tammany-Hall style crooks are not my style at all. Labor's RWM will kill this country, its social fabric & all that is respectable.

  • @colindominy Fair point. As usual it will be about choosing the lesser of the evils

  • I'm voting for him cos he has hot daughters

  • @SkylineJet Just remember you won't get far with the daughters and their chastity belts daddy has slapped on them

  • The last thing we want is a Jesus freak who opposes science representing Australia. Abbott only says what he thinks people want to hear.

  • There is a hell of a lot of factual minipulation going on there!

  • @mitch19636 Okay, so go right ahead and tell us all which facts I've "manipulated". I won't hold my breath.

  • Go Tony....if people thought like the maker of this vid do you really think the polls would have turned like they have!!! Btw work choices was an excellent simplification of antequated industrial relations programs that before workchoices were confusing gobbledigook. The only people scared of workchoices are bludgers who don't know what hard work is!!! I'm a worker, and found work choices to be advantageous.

  • @ogleroo Another pro-WorkChoices comment! My favourite kind! You're fighting a losing battle buddy - you'd be better off just reiterating that it's "dead, buried and cremated" and try to pretend it never happened! But thanks for bringing it up so I can tell my personal "bludger" WorkChoices story: after working my butt off for two years without a single problem, I was unfairly dismissed during my first week of maternity leave. If you dare to argue that this was "advantageous" - bring it on!!!

  • @ogleroo The polls rofl ,The fake media ones ,There a joke just like fakes moon face Laurie oaks ,Hes an agent for the liberal party, The real polls WHERE THE REAL PEOPLE VOTE ARE WHAT COUNTS,And i hope its a land side ,I hope people wake up and realize how fake tony is, If that arrogant piece of shit wins where all fucked,He will jump in bed with the highest bidder ,Liberals The most corrupt party on earth ,

ITs a smart choice to vote labor ,.At least They care,

  • Reason #13..... and what does Julia Gillard think of this issue?? That point has become a bit redundant now! haha

  • @Tbomb18 Do you think that Abbott saying he's "threatened" by homosexuality is on the same homophobia level as Gillard saying "We believe the marriage act is appropriate in its current form, that is recognising that marriage is between a man and a woman, but we have as a government taken steps to equalise treatment for gay couples" ?? I don't think that the point of Abbott being a conservative homophobe is at all redundant

  • wow, Michael Moore would be impressed. Twisting facts to suite your story, well done.

How can you say that spending so much on advertising the GST that literally affected 100% of all australians is comparable to a super tax that only that affects the share holders of mining companies in australia, Thats what? I'm guessing < 0.5% of the australian population, and most likely a hefty portion of those are extremely wealthy to start with.

Why do so many people for fall this propaganda?

  • @ianjblott You think the super profits tax will only affect 0.5% of the population?! Have you been living under a rock? FYI: The Federal Government expects to make about $12 billion in the four years after the tax is introduced. This will go towards: * An increase in compulsory superannuation * A cut in company tax * An infrastructure fund

Which will have a flow on affect to almost 100% of the population!

  • Abbott = lizard

  • Bloody Brilliant !

  • Well I thought it was entertaining.........And wont be voting for the scarey man!!!

  • @aleron79 Gillard 48% and Abbott 52%. Better hurry up Australia before its too late!

  • @MRbaXR6TurbO Funny you sound like a typical brainwashed liberal supporter ,Most likely one of those fat cats ,And to make matters worse you prove me wright no policy's ,Nothing to help the people can only attack ,hmm sounds like tony .

Ill beat Laurie oaks to the next big story , Malcolm Turnbull will knife phony tony when he loses ,.. Inside info,.Chock on that moon face ,.

  • Dear MRbaXR6TurbO,

I guess if I was also a turbo-charged petrol-guzzling car, I would also share your opinion. As a human being though, I don't. Drive safely, and happy polluting!

  • Anything can be taken out of context.

Kudos on the illegal unsolicited use of others Intellectual Property, set us further back as a country.

  • @tewak Pfft! I dare you give me one example of a quote I've used in this video that was taken out of context! LOL I won't hold my breath!

  • What about just crap economics?

  • @MRbaXR6TurbO LOL!!!! Omg mate, you made my day! Such a shame people like you are allowed to vote XD

  • Just remember tony tells lies, Hell tell you any shit to be elected ,.Then he will only support the fat cats ,. Tony wont tax the miners or big company's ,But hell tax the hell out of the people and shopping center's cause he don't give a shit about everyday ppl, Dont believe those mine adds, Payed actors, Krudd is not leaking ,its liberal,s party and fat lieing moon face Laurie oaks trying to cause trouble, Cause they know labor will win.Dnt trust moon face, hes corrupted

  • Thanks for this. Have posted on facebook and will ensure the video will get spread around.

  • He's right wing. The right wing consider peak oil to be a left wing falacy produced by left wing nutters, Just like global warming and the need for country wide internet.

  • Internet = education, it is not a waste of money.

  • Hahaha! Hilarious!

At least if he gets in we can make lots of jokes about how he looks and acts like a monkey. He would just be a total embarassment! Howard was enough of an embarassment, but he has provided many years of cheap entertainment. Abbott would probably do the same, but he is much funnier, because he is a bigot.

  • Agree 100% I dnt like what they did to krudd ,.But i will hate to see tony in . So i got no choice , Labor all the way , Tony = Australia destroyed, Labor = a bright future

  • thanks for the clarification on the 'creepy' issue. I agree talking about your off-springs' sexual activity in public is surely crossing a boundary or two.

  • he's the george bush equivalent of australia. nooo!

  • people thought there was an oil crisis in the 80s .. never happend,,, and climate change is crap.. do u really want to be taxed for breathing air? higher bills just because you fools think your saveing the world?? fucken tossers have no idea if there is an ETS which that orange whore plans to introduce were gonna be on the streets anyways cause we wont be able to afford ANYTHING! KAPISH!!

  • @MRbaXR6TurbO I did have reservations about approving this comment - but then I thought I would allow it, just so we can all laugh at what a backward fuddy duddy you are.

  • @rebeccak971 I wish I was as mature as you! People like MRetc actually get to vote too.

Tony Abbott - what an honour it would be for him to represent this wide white land at the UN.

    His hypocrisy never stops.

  • @rebeccak971 yeah what a tool, and intelligent with it. love ya vid, onya!

  • @MRbaXR6TurbO that orange whore? Wow, what substance you have! Sounds like you're an amazing intelligent human being! You must have beautiful ladies hanging on your every word and be the envy of all the men that surround you! You are BIG and STRONG, like Mel Gibson!

  • @MRbaXR6TurbO

You are so clearly retarded i am absolutely fucking perplexed as to how to managed to work a keyboard to type that trash you call a comment.

  • @MRbaXR6TurbO Your An Absolute Idiot! Typical. You really don't believe in Climate Change And Global Warming. Come to South Australia and see what it is like here. Oh and what about the poles melting. Still think it alot of Bullshit. Honestly you don't Understand stuff like this.

  • I am not a fan of Abbott but your comment on his reference to his daughters was 'creepy'. It seemed like you were infuring something nasty. Apart from that I thought the point about Workchoices was well worth making as is the 'boat' people as opposed to the 'plane' people issue.

  • @willimacdo Thanks for your comment. Just to clear things up, I personally feel that any father talking about his daughter's virginity in a magazine interview is creepy/strange/inappropriate. I didn't mean to infer there was something nasty going on. If he wanted to give his daughters advice in private that's fine, but doing so in a public forum is in poor taste. I believe he wanted to use the opportunity to push his beliefs on other women.

  • Brilliant video. I knew I had many reasons to distrust and dislike Abbott, but it is good to have them enumerated (although I'm sure we will all be adding reasons as time goes on). Also, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the cut back to the dinosaur pic at 4:22.

About that dino pic, is there not a more fitting dinosaur we could see his grimacing mug on? That one actually makes him look far cooler than he deserves.

  • Just to address #14 (the first one, since you have two)

Somehow you think that internet access in Australia is in the dark ages.

What's the matter? Can't upload crappy youtube clips fast enough, so $43b needs to be extorted from the rest of us to speed it up for ya?

I'd support canning that nonsense - it's a waste of money.

  • @zo1dberg Since you obviously have limited knowledge of the technologies relating to this issue, I'll try to make it simple. Australia currently ranks 26th in the world in terms of average internet speeds. Now if you don't think that this will have an affect on Australian in terms of business and education, as other countries keep developing their technologies, and Australia gets further and further behind, then you know less about the issue than I originally thought.

  • @rebeccak971 I have to agree with you.

  • @zo1dberg FYI the Australian Broadband Network that the current government proposes is not about people needing the extra bandwidth or faster net speed. It's about providing this widespread technology to the whole of australia, especially in rural areas. This means that those in rural areas will have better access to long distance education, health care information and much more. You should research the reasons behind policies before you get up in arms about it.

  • @zo1dberg Wow, you really are out of touch yourself aren't you. I understand that you yourself only use your internet to troll a few political videos here and there, but for people like myself running businesses, off-site data backups and retrieval is a timely and costly process, something that could only be resolved with a widespread fibreoptic network. I believe we are even more below 26th now. I'd rather money spent on infrastructure than advertising workchoices again.

  • @Tinman4Jessy Agreed!

  • Great video - love it - God help us , , , , , check out my video re: tony etc. . . . . Drongo Jack Talks Australian Politics - just a little humour . . . .

  • a few typos but essentially spot on. I don't believe in hell, but if i did, it would be living under Tabbott as PM. #ausvote

  • not a single fact to be found, idiotic labor nutjobs, Abbott is better for Australia, simple as that

  • @mrloiter are you an idiot? i mean seriously!! Abbott wants to destroy this country from the roots... think about what will happen if he becomes PM... he plans to scratch everything that makes this country great!. Who got australia through the Recession?... Rudd made that happen, and guess what he was in the labor party. Australia avoided recession thanks to him... he was the best thing to ever happen to this country... i say let Gillard have a go to accomplish what rudd was doing!!!!

  • if this retard wins the election, i'll move to another country

  • @DarkFlaze LOL I think Abbott may actually need boat people to take the places of all the people who'll want to get the hell out of here if he's PM

  • @rebeccak971 I agree 100%

  • @DarkFlaze I hear ya bro. On the upside, if the tradition holds and things continue to go pear-shaped in NZ, our kiwi cousins might boot the nats and we get our old refuge back when the shit hits the fan. Kiwi chicks got cute accents too.

  • Well put together video, congratulations.

  • @CaptainCornflakeftw I'm so glad you brought up how laughable the FACTS, SOUCES and LANUGAGE BEING USED are...because the source of every quote in the video is TONY ABBOTTS mouth....word for word...I dare you to google any of the quotes I've used and you'll find the interview or speech where he said it!Thanks for your comment - you just helped my cause! :)

  • @rebeccak971 you got served! looked them up myself, high five rebecca =D

  • Love it! I'm sending this on & posting it on my facebook page. Spot on. :-D

  • @Astrostevo Thanks for the positive feedback and spreading the word! :)

  • @rebeccak971 No worries - thanks for creating this! :-)

  • The lack of commas is somewhat disturbing...and in some cases I'd say you're being too biased...

But that's not to say I didn't agree with most of it and enjoy it.

  • He has good economic policy.

  • @Glen000 lol. How about you take a look at his history? Like when he ripped 1 billion dollars out of the health system. Like when he opposed the stimulus packages during the GFC. Like how he plans to CUT CUT CUT on health and education? You think that's good economic management??

  • And you think Julia Gillard is any better?

  • @chinimick In a word; YES!

  • @chinimick : "And you think Julia Gillard is any better?" Absolutely - very much so!

  • Workchoices is the best, Tony abbot is the best. I believe in tony abbot

  • @swiperboy If you really believed in him, you'd know how to spell his name correctly

  • Good vid.

  • I will bring back WORKCHOICES.

  • Okay, you've listed all the good things about Tony Abbott. Now what about the bad? But I'm not holding my breath for a mature response, judging by how poorly put together this video is.

  • @Leftyslayer7 I save my mature responses for comments that are actually based on intelligent argument - clearly which yours is not. And as for the quality of my video, point me to your videos which are better, and I'll admit defeat - but I'm not holding my breath.

  • @Leftyslayer7 May you be lost in the political wilderness for all eternity.

  • Complete tripe. Nothing else needs to be said about it really.

  • @DarkLotusXS pffft! Congratulations; you win the prize for least insightful comment of the day

  • Going for Greens next election

Might I add reason #16 although this also applies to the rest of the party too

Tony Abbott doesn't even know the meaning of the word "Liberal"

    Liberal (adj)

    a. Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.

    b. Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.

    Yeah clearly not Abbott

  • @dctcool hear hear! There is a distinct lack of liberal thinkers in the Liberal party!

  • 170 people have died at sea since the government weakened border protection laws concerning unuathorised boat arrivals. Now consider this, what would happen if an airline or a cruise ship operator had due to negligence, allowed the deaths of 170 of it's passengers? The CEO of those respective companies would be fired, the company would be either be closed or investigated for criminal negligence, and the industry would be subject to mass regulations. That is what this government has allowed....

  • @OmegaRage That's 170 people who were so desperate to flee from persecution, torture and death in their own country, that they took their chances by getting on a stinky, leaky boat, in the hope staying alive. Many of those 170 people would probably have died in their own country, had they not fled. Your comment proved exactly why these people deserve our government's help - so thank you :)

  • There is no peak oil. There is enough oil in the world to last well beyond the next century. In fact, the US has enough oil in it that it could ween itself off its dependency from middle eastern oil! Weak....

  • @OmegaRage Care to provide the research which you base this claim on? But hey, at least you have a general idea of what the term "peak oil" means...unlike Tony Abbott who's "never heard of peak oil".

  • @rebeccak971 It's quite hypocritical for yourself to bring up the subject of peak oil while at the same time never bringing up any sources to prove it's existence! First, why should a politician waste his time on a subject which is baseless? Waste of taxpayers money. Second, since you asked, watch?v=LHD4U2q_p4c

  • @OmegaRage LOL! look I'm not interested in having an argument with you about whether "there is no peak oil". I merely included the clip to highlight how clueless Abbott is in regard to the planet's most important resource. What kind of nitwit answers the question "What's your party's policy on peak oil" with "Haha we want it to be cheaper" pfft! Yeah, Abbott is total PM material...LOL what a joke!

  • Nice work, is there one on Kevin Rudd coming?

  • @WeAreChangeBrisbane

I admit Kevin Rudd is a bit on the nose at the moment, but in my book he's a hell of a lot better than the alternative...so won't be doing a vid on him. Influencing even one person to shift their vote from Rudd to Abbott is not an action that I could not live with!

  • Fantastic :-) UH!

  • @sparkledreamer

    Thanks :)

  • "he dosent clearly listen to voters " im a voter and i like work choices ,why shouldnt you be able to sack bad workers ,bludgers ,theives,or any one esle thast is not an asset to your business ,i dont want to carry shit workers, why should you have to pay to get rid of them . It was good for workers ,bad for bludgers

  • @pdjsa

Looks like I needed to spell it out for you?

I should of said: "Abbott clearly doesn't listen to the majority of Australian voters who knew that WorkChoices was draconian legislation, and got rid of his government in protest at the last election"

Please keep the "pro-WorkChoices" comments coming!! It will do nothing but remind workers of what they are voting for if they vote Liberal.

Thanks for helping my cause :)

  • @rebeccak971 workchoices was brilliant legislation. people only voted against it because they didn't understand what it was about, thanks mostly to the scare campaigns financed by the unions (the people who PRETEND to represent all workers). in the long term Australia would have benefited enormously from having a flexible IR system. more people would be employed, sure they won't all have awesome entitlements, but at least more people who otherwise would have been out of work had a job.

Thank you for more "pro-WorkChoices" comments to remind viewers exactly what they are voting for if they vote Liberal at the next election.

The fact that people like you (and Tony Abbott) think that everyday Australians simply "didn't understand" WorkChoices and believe that the very thing that got the Howard government booted out was "brilliant", just goes to prove that you are living in la-la land.

  • @tdenterprise bottom line is i got a good job now and Fair Go which is the Ozzy way, i can only go by how good my life is now not how bad it will be under Work Choises

    @Stephen19852009

I agree. At the moment workers have a fair go; the new Fair Work Act has made a huge and positive difference. But Labor's new workplace laws have been given little media attention, and a lot of people don't even know about them. The important thing to remember is that our new and improved workplace rights will be scrapped if Abbott is elected PM. WorkChoices - what ever the name, never again!!!

  • this should be on tv

  • @antonioVillasboas

If only my bank balance matched that of the mining companies!

  • "like"

  • Nice, nearly all arguements were pathetic slander or points that don't reflect upon him being a PM. Example - as far as paid parental leave being compulsary, it's not actually compulsary by law for a business to pay for parental leave. It is only through the business' good will at the moment that it even exists.

Rudd is just an idiot in a suit who has spent all the money saved up by prior liberal governments. I don't care much for Abbott but i'm sure as shit not voting for Rudd.

  • @Matt1Aus

Do you actually know the meaning of "slander"? Slander refers to false claims - this video is based on direct quotes that have come out of Abbott's mouth. Hardly "slander".... unless you're refering to Tony's brilliant ability to slander himself a lot of the time.

I also think you missed the point about paid parental leave - I was drawing attention to the fact that Abbott wouldn't introduce paid parental leave "over his government's dead body!" just a few years ago.

  • i don't think he is a dinosaur at all and in fact, his proposed Parental Scheme leave is more progressive than anything the Labor party has proposed over the past 3 wasted years.

  • @BCSimm1978

You are right that his "proposed" parental leave scheme is more generous than Labor's. But after Abbott consults with big business (who will be footing the bill), I wouldn't be surprised if his scheme ends up being cut back or scrapped all together, considering his previous comments that paid parental leave will be introduced over his government's "dead body".

  • I not a Liberal voter, but be careful with these attacks...it could come back to bite you

  • @Stephen19852009

"It" being the dinosaur that is Tony Abbott? ;)
