Just another grumpy old baby-boomer.
He was as naive as pretty much every young person in his youth. 95% of them/us grow up, and the remainder are just stuck in the past. From the remainder half plug away with their original views, the other half plug away fighting the other half - both blissfully unaware that the world just moved on and left both sides behind.
To be fair to him, if I'd been stuck with Tim Leary, I'd probably have turned out equally as cranky.

Why bother with intellectualism when you can resort to insults and childish comments? It is a sad state of affairs when a man such as this can have an audience beyond his own front room. The only solace we can take is that there are more people out there that would pay for him to shut up than would pay to listen to him.

I'm not gonna' argue about his points about these functionally useless people who spend much of their lives Twittering away. They remind me of the fashion model mannequins (especially the beanpoles) in so many magazine and TV ads. I'd say the same thing about these "models" (would you depend on them to fix your sink? I don't think so).
