  • voltage sensitive clamp ? I am interested could I see a picture or get a link to where I can buy 1 of these ? please

  • Hi freddytk421 you will find the mig much more useful

than the stick, i use both, the mig is quick and effcient.and i have a stick for the heavy use which is also very usefull.God bless

  • that mig is 425amp @ 60% duty and can use 5/64" or 2mm wire. I only use .035 but it can fluxcore weld code quality unimited thickness with fluxcore. (no codes for normal mig) I just love stick though because thats what I learned first and am certified in it. thanks for watching my videos.

  • well you know they say you can train a monkey to mig weld. guess thats why that joke of a human being jobbly thinks he is all spectacular with one....maybe hes the missing link!

  • I have a joke for you Evan. What do you tell someone that has an IQ of 50?....................

    NICE BEAD! hahahaha

  • Neat Miller Setup!

    John

  • I'm in the process of buying my first MIG. I'm pretty settled on the Millermatic 211, seems pretty versitile. Last weekend I stopped by Harbor Freight to see the Chinawelders. They're scary. The cheaper units ($300 range) have plastic drive components and cobbled-together guides. The next up ($5-600 range) had cast metal drive components but plastic tensioner. I'm all about buying cheap but this time around I'm going to buy something good. The China mini lathe and mill...so far so good....LOL!

  • If you want miller go to cyberweld, com they have wholesale prices no sales tax and free shipping. I have saved thousands buying from them, they have all miller and thermal dynamics and victor and its all warrantied and new and its a great place to get top shelf welding equipment.

  • I'm actually not looking to move around with it at all. I'm fixing my garage to get started with various projects and been looking at som eCHinese jobs for the MIG welders. There are some 150 Amp one that go for around 220$. which is not bad, except for the fact that they're chinese and probably will stop working after 6 months.

  • How many KWs is that generator? My house is off grid and I'm using a 6.5 KW peak generator. I think that should be enough, right?

  • Don't buy this one unless you need to move around and do stuff on-site. That generator is 10.5 kw rated. and that setup is better suited to making sky scrapers with fcaw or something crazy like that. You will probably be better off getting a cheaper machine that is bigger and doesn't need a separate power source other than your existing generator. but if you wan't one buy mine I don't use it.

  • Very good. Clear and simple.

  • that is basic for sure

  • this helped me see the simplisity of mig.

  • there is more to it but it is easy thats for sure.
