  • Extremely creative, The music to me says a lot about Dexter's life. The music is playing backwards because he is going back to his old life of no friends and back to Harry.

  • Let me watch this dexter - watch every episode of every season right here, just search it on google to watch any other series (e.g. Lost) just search let me watch this lost

  • ogimA soidA

  • this is just fucking genuis

  • Nice one, I didn't notice that.

  • ahh, thats so badass, i loved it when they played that at the end of this episode, it gave it a kind of twisted feeling, i didnt know it as "house" played backwawrds though, that was genius

  • Wait, I'm confused....did the music actually play in reverse in the actual show?

  • @samiam1432 Yes. It's backward in the real episode, you can tell because the music is a little choppy sounding (at least that's how I can tell xD).

  • Can someone please post "House" backwards? Please!

  • I like the way this sounds.

And they probably did play it backwards to signify the unnerving-ness and Dexter going back to being alone.

  • Michael looks like Ray Liotta in this short clip!

  • thanks for posting i was gonna do this myself to hear how it sounded

  • A good rule of thumb when watching TV shows is to avoid looking up things like videos and information unless you're in a controlled website. It's easy to stumble upon unwanted information, especially on YouTube. I'll mark spoilers in the description though.

  • Wow that is really something..

  • Huh... interesting. What do you suppose the significance is?

  • Probably just to make the scene unnerving. The scene also faded in color which is also kind of unsettling after hearing Miguel's neck snap for the first time.

  • this is really cool. dexter is the best show on TV.

  • I think it may also signify Dexter 'going back' to the way things were without Miguel: alone, no (real) friends...just being on his own. I think the fading of color also signifies this same thing; with Miguel he was understood and accepted, which gave his life a certain 'color', and now with Miguek gone it goes back to a colorless existence.

(think about how many emotions surfaced over this season because of Miguel, both good and bad)

    All just theories though

  • nice observation

  • Dexter OST - 20 - Daniel Licht - House

And yeah its backwards, you can notice straight away by the audio :)

  • It's called "House" by Daniel Licht.
