I was wondering about the dark lip-- I have a skin tone around yours (maybe I'm a quarter of a shade darker), but this color never looks right on me. I haven't used lip liner below the lipstick before, does that change the look, or just secure the color? Is it crucial to have a certain eye-shadow scheme going on to make the lip color make sense??

I bet you could get the same effect with Benefit creaseless cream shadows because they're so metallic and shimmery but they set in place. Also certain super-shimmery powder shadows could work. I bet if you put down a super-shimmery cream shadow and then put satin taupe or something over top it could look glossy. You could use something like Benefit high beam on the inner corner and brow bone.

i read an article last week about using dark lip colours and they recomend sometimes going outside your lip to make your top and bottom lips look even. just wondering what your oppinion is, i love deep red colours. good job btw eyes are amazing :)

I think you freehand your brows wayyy better and more even than the stencil turned out on you, even though I am a fan of Anastasia and use her brow stencil myself (but I am not as talented as you). Your finished look was really beautiful, and almost angellic.
