Johnny Ramone did NOT play power chords! He played BARRE chords, which by comparison are difficult! That is, they take endurance to hold down if you play alot of them.... Johnny held them down for a whole 90 minute set, that's all he played. They also sound alot richer and fuller. Power chords are great for metal, but barre chords are usually better for basic rock n' roll.
