  • I have an old steering wheel cover on my car already but I don't know how to even get this thing off. THink its shrunk on it or if its just suppose to be that tight. Don't Know might have to cut it off. Wanted to know if thats the best wa to remove a super old steering wheel cover?

  • Steering Wheel Covers like this = Ridiculously complicated. I can't seem to get mine on for the life of me

  • ripped mine :(

  • Take a hair dryer and heat it up. Trust me mine would have took an act of congress to make it fit. Put a lil heat on it and it took me about 45-60 seconds to put on there. Before i about broke my steering wheel yanking and pulling on it. Heat the leather up and it will work

  • I bought a second cover because the first one was impossible to get on, and ended up ripping the second one trying to pry it on. I love these things when they're on....I absolutely hate them when they're still in the package!

  • wow, looks so cheap

  • i just said fuck it and returned mine after 10 minutes. fucking ridiculously hard to put these things on

  • okay, how the hell did he do it.???

  • everybody with problems putting theirs on--- use a flathead screwdriver to pry it on once it gets hard to get it on in spots

  • Surely he's a wizard

  • will they rip?

  • This actually ended up being very helpful... after having the steering wheel cover laying around for months because my first, second, and third attempts at putting it on failed... I was able to pretty easily doing it by just slightly changing my technique to what he did in the video...

  • god dammit i'm watching this because mine is just impossible to put on

  • I've been working on it for a half hour... Still no luck...

  • It helps to heat it up first. They are tight be reason of safty/design. You want the cover to grip the steering wheel at tightly as possible which means that you have to use smarts and wits to put it on. God forbid you're driving down the freeway and go to swerve out the way of something but your car doesn't actually turn because your steering wheel cover is the only thing that's turning. Tight is just right!

    Good job bud.

  • @Steelbender9428 what if the steering wheel cover is too big? how would you shrink it

  • lololol I feel like I'm gonna tear it!

  • I got the same style cover, except with wood grain...what a pain to put on...lol

  • Thanks buddy....that was very helpful. After watching your video, I was able to put cover very quickly.

  • I hate steering wheel covers for this reason, it's so hard to get them on the freakin steering wheel lol
