HAHAHA! I remember Danny Miller (33) transferred to Notre Dame after this season since he was basically told his minutes would diminish since Chris Wilcox would take a bigger roll his sophomore year, the year they won the tittle. He was taken in the first round of the NBA the following draft.

My fav duke team ever they had killers who werent afraid with the game on the line no suprise they won it all in '01. the comeback vs maryland in final four is even better than this cause they were down like 20 at the half. Coach K needs to back to getting killers like williams,boozer,battier to win again. Gerald Henderson is the only athletic guy who can ball at the next level this duke team had 5. Duhon as a freshman came off the bench look at his success now in the L.

Jason Williams was the best college guard since Kenny Anderson left Ga Tech in the early 90's. Dude was unreal.

Loved that 2001 team! 5 NBA guys on it compared to 3 maybe 4 on this year's squad. G, Kyle and Elliot are Pro's. Maybe Jon or Nolan will join them but we'll see.

U rite however duke has been the more dominant of the 2 skools most recently by winning 16 acc tournaments including 7 of the last 9 played. they also have won 18 regular season titles, are second behind ucla in the most weeks ranked as number 1 and second only to ucla in consecutive appearances in the top 25. not to metion that their streak still continues today so they will more than likely be number 1 in a few years

And yet UNC still has more titles (ACC REG season and tourny and the most recent title). Don't get me wrong. Duke did dominate through the acc through the late 90's and early 00's but its a dead even race now.

I know, 80 percent of UNC fans are fans because it is cool to be their fans. All of the Carolina fans I've met can't argue a single point. You know what else is sad: that Maryland put up that shitty NBA wannabe arena Comcast Center and doesn't play in Cole Fieldhouse.
