hi guys!! it would be fun for us, that you tell us exactly what you put on this aircraft, lypo model, esc,engin...... a want to know all detail so i could buy the same stuff you used for this bird!!! thank you and keep doing your very good job guys..
Or it is just referred to as a wall. No one really says wall to hover. It would be interesting to see someone that knows how to fly 3D fly the plane. It would be nice to see how it handles KE Spins, Harrier Rolls, Harrier Loops etc.
Great video guys! I think the name Josh was looking for is Wall to Hover. A snap to hover is a snap roll straight into hovering. A wall is a where you are flying straight and level and pull back while chopping throttle simultaneously to make essentially a right angle. Then you apply throttle to hover.
@stompmaster That's just the recommended kit taken directly from the HK website. What we want to know is what power system the Flitetest crew have actually put into it. Josh hints in the video that they have gone a bit over the top. He also says they will tell us on "the website" exactly what they've used. I'd also like to know what power system has gone into this Edge
Thanks for the review, I have been looking at that plane for a while but am concerned about how much construction work is needed to assemble this kit. So how long/how difficult was it?
(Perhaps you could even do a short video on that?)
We want to hear about what is wrong with parts of the plane and what you didn't like about it, no plane is ever perfect.
The problem about you being sponsored by HK is that A) almost all of the reviews are HK orientated B) all the HK sponsored reviews are more like advertisements therefore should be called advertisements.
Don't get me wrong HK have their place but i would like to see other stuff being REVIEWED and even when you do HK product how about a nice REVIEW.
@Airman17054 the amount of time in production, they have to make a buck! if you only knew how much their experience and knowledge of video production is worth! if they are putting out 2 of these a week that's at least 20hours of work.. if anything maybe you should click the adds to support their team!
@kpopRC, I was not in any way bagging or discrediting Flitetest. I was pointing out the fact that due to the input from HK the videos do not tend to be as good as they were at the beginning and seem to be advertising HK products. Some constructive Criticism and problems that were found with the plane wouldn't go astray for any potential consumer.
@Airman17054 these guys are trying to make a living by making rc videos. these aren't windows movie maker consumer videos. your gonna have to deal with the fact that this is the only way to make it worth while for them. the equipment alone in production 3 dslrs, zoom audio, boom mic. cost more money then they probably ever made with adsence. atleast HK will send them planes for free for review. probably the only thing they get! it's shitty when people complain about great work. good job flitetes
@kpopRC don't get me wrong I am not complaining, and do enjoy most of they make. I was just pointing out what seems to have become more of a common theme in the videos.
amazing plane and good job guys, you keep producing the best RC videos on youtube.
i would buy the edge 540 if they sold it in some kind of RTF version, since i hate building anything larger than 1 foot, lol. come on HK, RTF is the way to go.
@aratidwell It's probably important that their skills match closely to the majority of potential customers - that makes it easier for the viewer to forecast what their experience would be like if they were to purchase the products in the videos.
Dude this video reminds me of the guy in Tulsa that bought a 50cc Extreme Flight Yak and never flies it upside down... Man it is a 3d plane watching some 3d would be nice. Most people that buy planes like that can fly a little more advanced than in this video so I really don't think it represents the average customer of that aircraft type.
*** You guys need to change your name to "Hobby King Flite Test *** this product looks OK but this HK stuff is putting yal'll in the garbage bin like most HK junk
You forgot to say what motor and speed controller you installed on it! May we know what are those, please? Yes, exactly those you used for this video!
hi guys, excellent flight with a very nice plane that i'm interested in. Could you please give us the exact set up of the plane (motor, ESC, prop, battery). Keep up the good work.

Yes, it can fly 3D. It has low wing loading and moderate wing rock. This video is not at all 3D though. Josh Bixler couldn't fly 3D for his life!

no matter how good this plane is, if it will not be on stock in your online shop, it's nothing. hobby king has low credibility so far.

More constrictive criticism and problems you find and less ADVERTISEMENTS!
