  • I love Martin mull! I'm 15 and I love his music and his acting!!! I love Vlad...I mean Martin xD

  • EEEEEH You got me again!

  • Joe Smith was VP of Reprise Records part of Warner Bros. when I worked there in '69. Mo Ostin was VP of Warner Bros. Every year they would take everyone over to a sound stage and put on ''The Mo and Joe Show". This is when they would tell us about the new artist that were signed for the coming year, give out some promo records with all the artists on one disc .. still have them to this day.

Mo and Joe are tow of the coolest cats around.

Joe went to Capital and Mo went to Dreamworks.

  • @zbestwun2001 That must have been cool to work for the recording industry back when people were still buying records!

  • @ar4216 It was great....met alot of artists and good a lot, (800) records..Some I have are still sealed and I am going to start selling them soon.

  • @ar4216 Yes, plus it was just a cool job with very cool/hip people working with you.

It's not like that anymore.. For shizzle.

  • Martin Mull is brilliant....he should have been a bigger star than he is, although, he's still working in TV....Great talent.

  • he was funny...way back when before he sold out...now he's a boring TV star

  • Check out Sax and Violins....great LP.

  • I had this record. Martin Mull and His Fabulous Furniture. Absolutely one of the best records I ever owned. Delta Blues...classic

  • More than talented, this gentleman is a genius.

  • Man's got talent!

  • he's a painter too.

  • Shit...go Mr. Kraft haha.

  • Did he yell when Teddy Deane left his band for the Holy Modal Rounders?

  • HMR- "ROOOOOOOLLLLLLLL another one, just like the other one"

  • Um, not their song... "Euphoria" was. Floating around on a belladonna cloud...

  • Holy Modal Rounders

"Don't Bogart Me". Look it up. It's on YouTube

  • Holy Zork!!! I posted too soon- this is IT, or else it's an earlier version of the same bit....

  • Martin Mull did a bit on tv early in his career where he played a Mickey Mouse guitar using a baby bottle as a slide- it was AMAZING- does anybody have this, and could you please put it up on Youtube???

  • Mull is in a great new bio (Charlton Heston: An Incredible Life: Revised Edition). The bio is at amazon!

  • The Dueling Tubas bit is "tuba-synched" - actually hearing the recording with Red Callender on tuba and David Duke (not the right wing politician) on French Horn.

  • iTunes needs to add more of his old albums...but if you want a taste, download MARTIN MULL AND HIS FABULOUS FURNITURE...

  • Don't forget his country album, Living Above My Station. I think that was what it was called. It was one of the songs, anyhow. ...and then there was that touching song about the midget.

  • Wow, this guy's comedy records are GEMS, I had no idea he had such an interesting body of work waiting to be discovered.

  • Sax and Violins....

  • Intresting stuff about Martin Mull.

  • Martin Mull is naturally lobotomized in reallife. He admitted in a 1978 Newsweek interview that he never yelled! Count yourself normal if you yell occasonally!
