  • Haha I love how the woman says where is the toilet please? She sounds constipated!

  • es una aleacion entre el ingles lituanes y el aleman en el lenguaje no es una lengua genuina para mi modo de ver

  • Oh my god... That's an english desperate housewife!!

  • I don't know why these "learn said language" videos are only about memorizing phrases. I think it's more important to learn the grammar and how the language is structured. It doesn't help just blindly memorizing thousands of phrases for each and every question. Sometimes it's necessary to develop your own answers in your own words.

  • 0:21 - nasty hello!

  • Where is the toilet please? XD!

  • pharses? what does that mean?

  • English voice is that microsoft voice narrator.

  • The english translator seem to have smoked some weed

  • @orchfader Hahahaha- Pretty much!

  • Is it just me or is the English voice really depressing?

  • i thouht the swedish for 'my name is...' was "mitt namn ar" or is their more than one way? :P

  • who wants to help me with Swedish, I have some recordings that I can't understand and need them transcripted. I'll do whatever you want in return.

  • @ochyeahh

It's your lucky day! I'll do it for free.. :) Ja, man blev ju nyfiken, ni vet..

  • For one thing, you have Old English, Middle English and Modern English, thus according to the University of Cambridge in England. They should know because the lingo was developed in that area of the world. Dopes of the world; try to use the English language without also using Old English.

  • it's "pratar du engelska" not "talar". Talar is more like how old people speak xD.

  • @ImHappyWithYouxD talar är inte hur gammla pratar ..fail

  • @ThePandaPencil nähheeee.. Men här där jag bor säger de flesta pratar iaf.

    jahaha

  • that english voice is so funny. especially the last sentence!

  • hehehe the english translation sounds like Combichrist ''this sh*t will f**k you up'' song lolol is still kewl tho this =]

  • tattar kärring hehe hur i fasiken..

  • I thought 'pratar' was speak. What's the difference between that and 'talar' please?

  • @Hellsconsort my swedish friend said that there isn't a big difference. But "prata" is a bit more common, every day language, "talar" is a bit more formal ;)

  • @AlabamaWhitman90 Thanks, appreciated.

  • @Hellsconsort

talar is usually to speak a language, and pratar is to talk. :)

  • OH! Jag heter Amanda, vad heter du?

  • @joeyjunior111

    Jag heter Ella:)

  • @ellabee99 Jag heter matias.

  • Why is it a immigrant from Irak making the swedish translation people are goong to believe that we talk like that!

  • The english voice sounds like a manically depressed American woman.

  • @jeffp44 LOL

  • strange pronounciation. my german and english are pretty great but this really gave me a hard time.

  • the english lady sounds so sad :(

  • @ProJanitor My Swedish sounds os bad! =)

  • And coming soon... our Swedish beginners course for muslim immigrants, full of the phrases you will use and need every day. For example:

"jag vill ha bidrag. Ge mig bidrag!" -- "I want welfare. Give me welfare."

"Ge mig mera gratis saker NU!" -- "Give me more free stuff NOW"

"Jag behover inte lara mig svenska. Ge mig gratis pengar!" -- "I don't need to learn swedish. Give me free money."

"Dy klar dig som en hora. Jag vill doda dig." -- "You dress like a whore. I want to kill you."

  • What the heck, the english translation sounds like a freakin' robot o.O

  • mycket nyttig i think i got it right it means very useful

  • @SolidShell2

Actually, "nyttig" is not a good word for "useful". You use "nyttig" as "healthy", when you're (for example) talking about food. I think it's better if you use "användbar".

  • It's amazing that "I need help!" is one of the most common swedish phrases

  • Swedish : Välkommen!

    English : Welcome

    Animal : Whalecum

  • where is the toilet please? lol!!!!

  • @myusername618 Toalet

  • holy shit

    too fast

  • excuse me?

    booo !

  • haha....tack...

  • Tack :)

  • No, the English voice is unacceptable. So depressed and stuff ... "I neeed help."

  • haha English: Noooo (so emo sounding) haha oh my god.

Quick question: Varsågod was welcome, is this only welcome to a reply from tack? And Valkommen is only welcome as in Welcome to my home?

  • yes u are right but is written like this: var så god [var sha good]

  • Talkit sucks TwT

    Men svenska äger x'D

    Härlig dialekt..? Oo

  • she says ursäkta so wrong :< lmao

  • for all u people that might think this is impossible

in bout 2 months ( if u put work into it) ull find it kinda ridiculous that you once found this "hard".

swedish becomes real easy after the introduction to the language

  • haha man frågar inte efter toaletten på engelska, man frågar efter badrummet.

  • @paronfisk exactly.. lol cause generally the toilet is in the bathroom lol "no man i dont give two shits where the bathroom is i just wanna know where the toiilet is" lolol

  • The English voice sounds depressed. lol

  • ja these lessons are helpful... nej.... very helpful d:

  • 1:06 the english voice for 'ursäkta var är toaletten?' was really funny. it absolutely sounded like the speaker was in urge for a toilet visit.

  • LMAO!

"Where is the toilet please O_O"

  • I got this from a person on my phone. what does it mean??

''Hej! det går fint med mig, du då återhämtat dig sen helgen? :) kram ''

    thanks for answer :)

  • it means "''Hey! it is fine with me, when you recover you since the weekend?"

  • Oh. and then ":) Hug"

  • @vgjr300

It means: "Hi! It's fine with me, what about you? Have you recover since the weekend? Hug" :D

  • @vgjr300 it means "Hi! it's fine with me, have you recovered since the weekend?:) hug"

  • "EXCUSE ME, where is the toilet?"

  • @c0rp53f4c3 "the bathroom is over there.."

"no nono i dont care where the bathroom is i jsut wanna know where the toilet is"

    "wtf?"

  • Oh may this is fucking hard

  • The Swedish stress is difficult.

  • lol , ya where is the bathroom , it is much better to ask for that .

  • LOL sounds funny in the end, "where is the toilet pleeeeaaasee???" xD

  • Hm, maybe she really needed to go... ;P

  • @JennieParker87

  • wtf i m sorry i dont speak swedish??? your speaking it

  • lol where is the toilet pleeeeeease

  • Exactly what made me lol. xD

  • excuse me do you have a problem with my country? det är lättare än du tror.

  • @MKandASH4, ummm what are you asking me? What are you talking about that is easier than you think? And no, I have no criticisms at all, for goodness sake I am part Swedish too! And I am just commenting on how funny the English speaker is, not the language, sometimes people are so stupid saying that someone is racist just because of what they think of just one phrase.....geez..

  • @bhtrb456546 Why are you so pist can't I have an opinion

  • @MKandASH4, you're basically said "Excuse me do you have a problem with my country? It is easier than you think"

The answer is NO! I have no prejudice towards Sweden, it is beautiful there, FYI I have lived there before and I am part Swedish too, and it seems that you thought I was racist because I said that the voices seemed funny, although I was laughing at the English robotic translator. Nuff said. Conversation done.

  • no, it will be around for time to come. To be exact, I think Swedish has been around for longer than English if I am correct. According to my mate, if you can speak swedish, you can speak to more than 4 countries nearby it because it would be easy.

  • Norway, denmark and 2 more?????.. If you think swedish people has got it easy to understand finnish then you are sadly mistaken

  • dont think so lol, my mate is a Swedish and it took him a few months to be able to speak Danish fluently, many words in Norwegian and Swedish sound exactly the same but just different spelling. This dude can speak... Icelandic, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish. Didn't take too much time for him to be able to speak all of them as they pretty much got like similar accents.

  • I happend to be swedish aswell.. and yes Norwegian, Danish and is similiar..(Islandic is similiar in a few ways.. but still not easy to learn) but Finnish is nothing, absolutely nothing like swedish. No similiar accent or anything like that.

  • And i have to say i am astounded that your friend can talk Finnish after only a few months... must be the greatest achievment so far when it comes to learning languages..

  • hahaha where is the toilet pleazzzzz

  • hey the finnish and swedish a lil similar in sounds of hello

    finn-->hi=hei

    swedish-->hi=hej

  • ahahas the translator sounds impatient is funny lols

  • The Swedish phrases ought to be repeated more times.

  • tack but the last wan just set me off that was so funny :D

  • similar to icelandic.. Nej sounds EXACTLY the same as Nei, which is no in icelandic :)

  • Fall and spring sounds exactly the same too.

    Höst, vår.

  • This is too hard to memorize.

  • TREVLIGT AT TRÄFFAS MINA KOMPISSAR! ? lol

  • haha, very funny.!

    tack!

  • there were several sentences where other words would have fitted much better

  • lol the english version sounded like a drunk robot, i was cracking up so hard

  • hahaha i laughed so har at the last one xD

    where is the toilet pleeease!
