i really want to know which tires they use.... i just burned 3 sets on one day of track drifting but only drive 6 times so after two laps = new tires. If i did that like they did, it would be half a lap. So they must have different rubber or something. Help anyone.

i use regular tires man. Just like some pirellis oder michelin or what ever i get my hands on. I usually by some used tires cause 18" tires cost a fortune and these are already ma track rims, i usually drive 19`s on regular days.

@REDjester Superchargers run off the engine so they have a better response than a turbo. A turbo will kick out more power in the longrun if ur doing drag but its a better idea for a supercharger while drifting cause it dosent req spooling up and u wnt get any lag. Power when u need it with the supercharger

For all of you mechanically impaired people the white one is definitely the supercharger. If you look in the video the charger is connected to the engine by a belt. Turbos run off exhaust while superchargers run off the engine. Just follow the belt from the charger to the engine. It's pretty obvious if you know anything about cars.

the white one does have a front mount but it has a vortech supercharger (which is sorta shaped like a turbo) thats what your seeing at about 1:18 near the headlight

Ha. I'd say superchargers are for the windy tracks and turbos are for the straights. If you can keep your turbo spooled by gearing as low as possible, you can pull more power out of it than a SC. But I'm a geek for corners(: Just compare a mercedes CL65 AMG with a mercedes SLR McLaren. TT V12 in the AMG and SC V8 in the McLaren, and I'd say the SLR is more track worthy.

no lol, thats the common misconception of superchargers.superchargers produce more hp at high RPM's then at low. its just turbo's produce more HP at above 5500 RPM's. Which is why turbo's are ideal for drifitng because you need to be in higher RPM's. The supercharger works 24/7 and continues to help from start to end. turbo works for only the end.

the supercharge is basically a turbo but runs by the engine...the turbo uses the exhaust from the engine which suffers from turbo lag sometimes but both has their ups and downs.

superchargers dont need a bov because they are belt driven, so when you stop accelerating or downshift it stops creating boost, when someone accels in a turbo car the turbo is still spooling, ie still creating boost therefore the need for a bov.

superchargers are belt driven but in high hp cases they do still require bov's bue to unused built up pressure when you let off the gas. even though they instantly stop producing pressure they still have unused pressure that needs to be let go. the reason bov's are more common for turbos is because they dont stop making pressure instantly.

it depends on what you want.acceleration on low revs or on high .

the Z can have a supercharger that will give it a considerable boost on acceleration or you can put on the V6 a twin turbo.
