I always wonder who the "pros" really are. Some say their fat old fucks living in a basement or attic somewhere. Although its foolish to assume this is true at all for all of them. Others think that maybe they're a bunch of spoiled 12 y/o's whom parents hand over the best internet, computers, chairs & environment to enhance their gaming experience. Which is true? I don't know but I'd sacrifice all I own just to find out.
Try having this much fun with Burnout Paradise. It's freakin impossible. Everyone just gets lost through the sheer confusion of the map. This is why closed courses are so much better.
@ferdjaha True, that. I love the openess of Paradise, though. But for races, I agree, it's crap. I really don't get why you there isn't an option of closed courses in Paradise - I mean, all you would have to do is put in the arrows on corners which can't be that hard, surely?

With the assassin, I'd say #1 is tigbitslvr/me(HAMMERTlME)/Drabgrey then Blank Void. that's also considering the people who don't play the game anymore.
US circuit racer goes to 209 straight line with boost, but won't maintain that speed without boost, but the world circuit stays at 209 without boost, and I want to say it has a higher drift speed.
Lol, drifting with the world circuit would be fun, but you'd probably flip, spin out, have your wheels forced off, etc. those cars are extremely fragile irl

yeah but i bet youre not the type of bug exploiters. that you prefer geting it your self. for buses takedown. its not that hard. its more luck. try making those long 2 laps races. silver lake or sumthing like it.

I used to play on PS2, and I think that judging from the people I raced and players' laptimes, Xbox players are better as a whole. Back when B3 was in its prime, I raced pretty much everyone considered to be "good" with the World Circuit Racer... a few of them, including userdogg (who now plays on Xbox) and talakito, kicked my ass. But I think most of the best players are on Xbox... not to mention Xbox laptimes are better.

This game does support Xbox Live, but hardly anyone is playing it since some sequels (such as Burnout: Revenge) have already been released. I tried several times to find anyone to play online, and only once did I find someone on there, but it was just kid testing his microphone by saying 'helloooooo' over and over. We didn't even get to race.
that's Lakeside Getaway Southbound, right? You do NOT have a 2:29 on that track. Tigbitslvr has the world record on it, and it's like 3:06.
as far as people online, there are people sometimes on kinda late at night. British people are on earlier, like 6pm. Weekends you find the most people.
I was on yesterday for the first time in a month; invited FrozenVapor, he came, then WEIL3R showed up, then Drabgrey. Tigbitslvr got in a lil later. Best players to ever play B3. Most of us hadn't played in a long time. Only person missing was Segaswirl. Not to mention Blank Void and umopapisdnpauq (solid racers) were on too. Good times!

If you're talking about for the xbox, then hell yea. Nobody plays that at all, mainly cause it sucks. I think a decent amount of folks play 360 version. Burnout 5 will last a couple years, so buy it when it comes out.
dead, lol. It sucks, but it's true. You'll find folks occassionally, but not many. Most of the folks in this vid still play sometimes though. u shoulda got on it when it was huge.
I don't like the us or world circuit racers because if you touch a wall for even a second you decelerate by at least 50 mph, any longer than that and you decelerate to around 40 mph.
It also sucks for takedowns for the reasons stated above, if some pushes you against a wall you're done.
i actually wish all the cars did that. that's one of the only things I don't like about burnout. touching walls should be a bad thing. not crash, but lose a lot of speed.
Like i said i havent played in a long time, mainly because i lost my gamertag so i was too lazy to get a new one, so i sold my xbox and games and bought a pc :D
i don't like it because of the way it comes out of drift and the stiffnss of weaving traffic.

as for the euro, the acceleration isn't good; it actually loses speed when you don't have boost. the control is easily a 5. best car in the game in road rage but it doesn't maintain the speed like the world circuit.

If you're talking about for the xbox, then hell yea. Nobody plays that at all, mainly cause it sucks. I think a decent amount of folks play 360 version. Burnout 5 will last a couple years, so buy it when it comes out.

dead, lol. It sucks, but it's true. You'll find folks occassionally, but not many. Most of the folks in this vid still play sometimes though. u shoulda got on it when it was huge.

I don't like the us or world circuit racers because if you touch a wall for even a second you decelerate by at least 50 mph, any longer than that and you decelerate to around 40 mph.
It also sucks for takedowns for the reasons stated above, if some pushes you against a wall you're done.

i actually wish all the cars did that. that's one of the only things I don't like about burnout. touching walls should be a bad thing. not crash, but lose a lot of speed.

i don't like it because of the way it comes out of drift and the stiffnss of weaving traffic.
most of your reasons (1,2,55555,7) suck.
as for the euro, the acceleration isn't good; it actually loses speed when you don't have boost. the control is easily a 5. best car in the game in road rage but it doesn't maintain the speed like the world circuit.

the only problem with the euro is it's acceleration. it can't stay at 209 without it's prescious boost either. with no boost it runs at about 187.

i hate the circuit racer and am listing reasons why i hate it:
1.it spins outta control at the most odd times
2.it sometimes goes too fast and glitches the game up
3.it sucks in crash mode
4.on xbox live people beat the hell outta u cause ur so weak to attacks
5.it sometimes goes too fast and crashes right before u hit the finish line
6.it sucks in road rage
7.its so light that u can glitch the game up by flying too high
8.it has the worst sound
9.when u hit other cars u get hurt

the world circuit racer has an advantage over every car in the game. if you're experiencing a weakness with it, it's not the car, it's you.
