The first one is a niggun (a wordless melody) from the Satmar chassidim. The second is from the prayer Lecha Dodi, the melody here written many years ago by a very important Rabbi, Rav Meir Shapiro.
So, this Rabbi....is he like a high ranking one I guess? Just wondering...is Bobover his ranking or whatever?
I love the hasidic culture! so fascinating! I live a few minutes from Lakewood New Jersey where I think it's supposedly the second biggest hasidic population in the country besides New York.
This jewish is nice to watch and see the beautiful wedding ceramony. Which I only see a few ladies and the bride at far right which the camera guy can reach to view that point for soo many crowded people.
It looks so caring and loving for the point I see in these men. I wish I was there to see it live but they just allowed the woman family related to the bride and groom only.
whilst i fully understand and respect the religious point that women and men are seperate at weddings ,this video is merely concentrating on the elder rabbi himself and not on the bride and groom
it would be nice to see aspects of such a fascinating and amazing wedding containing the actual "stars of the show"
whilst i am sure the rabbi is a much loved man i personally would love to see more than him dancing , my curiousity is hungry for more diverse scences from such a momentous occasion
lovelyyyyyyyy
