well ill give it 7.5 of 10 points cuz it was a good short time enterntainment^^

  • Directly from the creators of the music tracks used for that teaser: "We've got our cue "Akkadian Empire" playing from 1:07 to 1:45 and "Guardians at the Gate" playing from 1:47 until the end of this trailer form AVATAR." See more at audiomachine(dot)com

  • Love this movie! In fact it inspired me so much, I started creating my own bioluminescent garden and waterfall using real-life bio organisms! Contact me if you're like me and might be ineterested in a cultivation kit. I offer both starter packs and addtional nutrients to keep them alive indefinitely. ;-)

  • Booooooyaaa!!! Guardians at the Gate, baby!!

  • James Cameron's Avatar was inspired by satan, those blue creatures look EXACTLY like painting from this satanist's testimony. James Cameron said himself that he had this vision and story long before the technology was available. That's why James Cameron wrote everything down and then tucked it away in a drawer until it was technologically possible.

skip to 5:58 in the video below to see the demon picture in the satanist's testimony:

"THE OCCULT - Revival of Evil PART 4"

  • @selious04 HAHAHAHAHAH OMG thanks loser you made my day LOL!

  • @timojattu

selious is one of MANY who feel that way. It's scary how some people perceive a fictional sci-fi / fantasy.

  • 221 people are stuck in Kansas.

  • was it Micheal Jackson at 1:50 or is it just me?

  • @SanSanWizzlePop michelle rodriguez

  • it's just like Pocahontas LOL

  • trailer better than the movie thanks to audiomachine

  • 3D movies have to be the single dumbest trick pulled on the movie going public, for the sole purpose of squeezing what little pennies we already have. Aren't we supposed to be innovating technology not clinging to shitty trendy trinkets? This falls in line with the American people's retarded fascination with the car and thus never bothering to upgrade our railway system to bullet trains such as those in Asia. Way to hold us by our shirt tails while the rest of the world zooms on by.

  • what is the name of the second song started at 1:48??

  • @MrDream1206 Audio Machine - Guardians at The Gate

  • Best movie I've ever seen! I salute you James Cameron, you direct the best movies ever!

  • Trailers better than the movie

  • Lovedd It :)

  • great movie, but titanic is better

  • the trialer song is not my name is lincoln, it is fire and ice, some people refer it as the remix of my name is lincoln. that's why they sound very similar

  • EPIC EVER

  • I hope I'm not the only one, but I wish we could see this film in IMAX 3D, all over again. It was extraordinary... in every sense of the word.

  • Can't wait for Avatar 2!

  • @TheBoomViper And 3! :D

  • Even if you don't like the movie, you have to admit that this trailer is so badass!

  • Greatest.movie.ever.made.

  • What the name of the song at 1:52 ?

    Thanks :)

  • you know what people, I had a dream one time that I was a place that was exactly like Pandora in Avatar, I had this dream before I knew about Avatar. I was in a rainforest land. I could even see Pandora's mountains, not the floating mountains but some other mountains that I have seen in the movie, but

    I repeat:

I had this dream before I knew about Avatar!! Even I didn't knew about James Cameron at that time.

Is there a possibility that I have a psychic ability, or something?

  • @94kricco Coincidence is the word

  • @timojattu yeah and I got this dream before I knew about Avatar and James Cameron

  • fgita

Everyone has a right to an opinion, you are abusing it

  • Song

The Island - My name is Lincoln

    Your welcome

  • @timojattu NOT! it's fire and ice by groove addicts listen to it, they sound very similar, but they're not the same

  • @timojattu by STEVE JABLONSKY :)

  • @timojattu i hate people who give this crappy movie credit for such a master piece!

  • @herogna It is a masterpiece. A visual effects masterpiece. But the story in and of itself was nothing out of the ordinary.

  • @mickelsavatar i got bored the second time i saw it. Story is everything for me, i'm a script writer.

  • @timojattu

    Song

Steve Jablonsky - My name is Lincoln

    Your Welcome

  • Best movie ever made!

  • @Dusto22

    How so?

  • God this movie rocked! And @RedJoker, your freaking annoying.

  • What an overrated movie! I remember when i first saw pocahantas. I mean avatar... wait, whats the difference?

  • @MORNING12inchWOOD

Maybe you should put up an original attack on Avatar. lol. How many times have people used that same goddamn reference?

  • @LukeLovesRose thanks tips, maybe cause its so blatantly obvious. Besides, don't pretend you have a problem with unoriginality when you're sticking up for Avatar... of all things. And btw Rose is a cunt!

  • @MORNING12inchWOOD

LOL. Thank you. Now, I know not to waste anymore time with someone like you.

  • @LukeLovesRose

How about this? I didn't even NOTICE the Pocahontas connection when I first watched it, but I DID notice the stolen Roger Dean scenery, recycled Terminator helicopters, horrifyingly stereotypical "native" culture, complete lack of imagination regarding animal designs, and cliched characters that would have been right at home in a '50s B-movie. Also, the disturbing way that the final battle glorified suffering and death if humans were on the receiving end.

  • @StellarJetman

LOL. Glorified death? Film has been doing that for years, my friend.

If you really think Avatar stole ideas and designs from Roger Dean or B-movies from the 1950s B-movies, I don't know what to say. I think you saw a completely different movie. Maybe you went into Avatar expecting too much or too little from James Cameron. You didn't have faith in his abilities perhaps. You fought the film, every step of the way.

  • @LukeLovesRose

I don't "think" that Avatar plagiarises Roger Dean; I know it. And I certainly don't think that it rips off '50s B-movies; it just makes some of the same mistakes.

I love how I MUST have "fought the film", that I had the wrong expectations of Cameron. The fact is, I really liked Aliens and Terminator. I've been a sci-fi fan all my life, and I was really psyched for another big-screen, big-budget sci-fi movie after the disappointment of the Star Wars prequels.

  • @StellarJetman

So, no, I did not "fight" Avatar; I went in expecting a good James Cameron movie and I really got into it for a while. But, the more I watched it, the more I realized that it just wasn't all that good. There was none of the character development of Aliens, none of the originality of Terminator. In their place were archetypes and stereotypes, set to a "going native" plot that had been done much better before.

  • @StellarJetman

The first time that I saw a floating island, I thought that it was a deliberate reference to Roger Dean, as his work is well-known and respected in sci-fi circles. When I saw the stone loops in the heart of the jungle and the weird, flat-topped trees on the plains, I realized that they were just repurposing his work. This is stuff that just jumped out at me when I was trying to ENJOY the movie, as were the things that I mentioned in my original comment.

  • @StellarJetman

And, when I said that the final battle "glorified suffering and death", I don't mean that in an "Oh, they shot a Stormtrooper!" way. I mean all the shots of random soldiers screaming in horror before we see them smashed into pulp or shredded by propellors or thrown out of dropships, and the way that triumphant, glorious music plays during those parts. It's set up as a contrast to the slow-mo and wailing for the Na'vi deaths, the ones that we're supposed to feel bad about.

  • @StellarJetman

We're only supposed to feel bad when a Na'vi dies. If a human dies, well, he deserved it. We're supposed to feel GOOD about the death ITSELF, not that it means that the Na'vi are winning. Otherwise, why would the movie even show them so specifically? There must have been about five or six of those shots, and each one is portrayed as a moral triumph on an individual level.

  • @StellarJetman

Like I said, I hate Avatar IN SPITE of my initial attitude, and NOT because of it. Don't try to tell me how I felt when I saw it if you weren't even there.

  • @StellarJetman

LOL. Whatever. I don't see you making movies as successful as Avatar or Titanic. When you do, please, let me know. Then, you can gloat and call me an idiot for loving every single moment in these films.

Until then, I don't care what you think. There have been far too many horrible comments thrown at Cameron's films over the years, I'm just not interested in hearing another one.

  • @LukeLovesRose

I don't think that Cameron's a bad director; I think that he's a good director who happened to make THIS bad movie. And what on Earth does making a film have to do with being able to appraise one? By your own logic, you have no more right to call Avatar a good movie than I do to call it a bad one - unless, of course, you actually HAVE made a successful, big-budget movie. But, somehow, I doubt that.

You want to defend the film, fine. Why not actually, you know, DEFEND it?

  • @StellarJetman

If you don't like the film, that's one thing. That's personal bias and that's fine. But, unless you know anything about the language of film, YOU CAN'T in good conscience call Avatar a "bad film."

The Room was a BAD MOVIE.

  • @LukeLovesRose

And I suppose that the burnt pizza that I had last night wasn't bad food because I could have eaten manure instead?

  • @StellarJetman

LOL. You're not listening to me. I can't believe I have to remind you of this, but movies are not food.

  • @LukeLovesRose

Are you really unable to understand the concept of an analogy? My point was that something bad doesn't magically become good just because something's worse than it.

  • @StellarJetman

Um, that is ridiculous. If you watch something that is actually BAD in every way possible, you can't look at a movie like Avatar the same way again. I dare you to try.

  • @LukeLovesRose

I think you need to give up, Luke. Stellar Jetman is arguing circles around you. It's sad, really. All you can do is come up with arguments that make no sense. He can't talk because he has never made a big budget film? Well, there goes every critics' job on the face of the earth. And, as Stellar Jetman pointed out, that means that you need to shut up too. What is the name of your big budget film?

  • @LukeLovesRose

What kind of logic says that he cannot call Avatar bad because there are worse films out there? Luke, you suck at this. Why don't you follow Jetman's advice and actually defend the film by explaining how his points are misguided with actual concrete arguments? Or, better yet, why don't you just shut up?

  • @LukeLovesRose

Bad movies are one of my favorite hobbies. And I've actually seen worse than The Room. See if you can find War of the Robots, then let me know if you can make it through the 20-minute-long "space battle" at the end without fast-forwarding.

The difference is that B-movies and their ilk are FUNNY. Avatar was just a massive disappointment.

  • @LukeLovesRose You realy overcredit James Cameron espicially compared too Gorge Lucas. He pnly wrote half o the first 2 Terminator films, the other half was written by Wiliam Wisher, also Alien hd it`s story co-written by others, and i the case of The Terminator, Aliens, Titanic and True Lies Cameron was controlled by the studios and distributors, plus in case of hi first 4 films he didn`t excecutive produce them. Compare this too Lucas who wrote the stories for all 3 original SW films!!!

  • @borisfilmfan

LOL. You really think James Cameron will allow studios to control movies like Aliens and True Lies and Titanic that much?? He's known as a perfectionist and control freak, not a corporate lackey.

  • @LukeLovesRose Well yeah they assumingly demanded edit on Aliens and when they own the film he hastoo follow them thaat also hapened with Spielberg!!!!!!!

  • @borisfilmfan

They wanted the running time of Aliens and The Abyss to be cut back from 3 hours. They were wrong. And proven wrong when both films made it big in the special edition format. Now, Cameron says how long the film will be and they nod their heads with approval, no matter what.

  • @LukeLovesRose It amazes me how utterly terrible you are at making arguments on behalf of something. The worst part is how you don't even try to give concrete evidence and resort to vague assertions about "film language" despite several people telling you that you suck and arguing your point.

  • Am I the only one that find the Na'vi extremely sexy/attractive? ;)

Great movie though. Bought the extended edition on Blu-ray a few days ago

  • When i watch the trailer i wanna watch the film NOW! Im not laing, if seen AVATAR like 17-20 times. Its not just like a movie its an Adventure!

  • OMG!! They showed waaay too much. If I haven't seen the movie before and watched the trailer I would be pissed when they showed that Jake fought AGAINST the Marines. What bullshit!!

  • My favorite movie. I think I have seen it about 25 times. but I lost count somewhere around 12.

  • My favourite movie. I think I have seen it about 25 times. but I lost count somewhere around 12.

  • JAKE SULLY! you are disgrace to your race and mankind! we are destined to be the master of the universe! do you think we will give up that planet so easily? youre wrong! we will do anything to achieved it even push that dirty race into extinction!

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

Chill! Jake Sully is a fictional character in a sci-fi/ adventure film set in 2154. So, chill out. Yes, Jake is a traitor, a traitor of three different people actually, but that actually doesn't matter so much as why he betrayed so many people.

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

    Suck my dick, stupid asshole

  • Comment removed

  • @RedJoker if your comment refer to jake sully then thanks but if your comment refer to mine then redeem yourself... read my comment carefully and see what message i put in there before you running your mouth around like fools...

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

We are just a structure of many many atoms just like everything else on this planet. We are not the master of the universe. The universe is so fucking big. Other galaxies are thousands of light years away ( open end because the universe is endless ) and we even have problems to reach the moon ... lmao

One fucking stone needs to fall on the earth and we are history.

    Humans tend to overestimate themselves.

We are just a very very very unimportant part of the universe.

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

    btw:

It has never been the plan of the humans to settle and capture Pandora, the only reason they were there is this fictive material which sells 20 million a kilo

  • @RedJoker you failed to decrypted my message miserably... okey i give you a clue, read my comment again from a historian point of view... btw nice essay about that universe, planets, atom, light years n other blardy blardy bla...

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

Well, I'm waiting for your explanation

  • @RedJoker im glad to see you asking me politely instead cursing me with barbaric words such as 'suck my dick stupid asshole'... okey my comment was in the form of dialog (kinda my style when commenting things ), what im trying to say was the very nature of human nature known as 'the greed'... this greed was responsible for building up human civilization as the history told us... remember what happen to native american when european arrived at the new world?

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

Yeah, most native Americans died of diseases which were brought to America by Europeans?!

Why would he be a betrayal? Humans got a free will. I can kill, I can rape your kids, I can give love, I can support poor humans, I can do whatever I want because I got a free will.

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

Are you saying that human greed is a good thing, because it helps us expand and ultimately destroy other civilizations??

Btw, we destroyed the Native American civilization all in the fucked-up name of expansion. Is that a good thing?

  • @LukeLovesRose you need to go back to my original comments... its was a cynical comment... you should have thought that clearly... i do not need to explain long or write a book about it you should have guess what im trying to say... btw that comment was directly pointed to jake sully with me acting as the angry defeated human company back on earth... thus that comment came to being... did i need to explain everything? my gosh...

  • @LukeLovesRose im always commenting in that cynical style and most people knows what message i put in there... its all in there, human nature, environment and history... i never thought my comment will be misunderstood and lead to unreliable debate...

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

I'm sorry that you needed to elaborate or clarify on what you said. I wasn't clear.

  • @LukeLovesRose thank you... well i learn to comment in that style from futurama actually :)...

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

You know, there's nothing "human" about greed. What we call greed goes by another name, the survival instinct. And that's intrinsic to pretty much everything that ever lived.

  • @RedJoker and if human ultimately master the technology they will started to colonize other planet and the same greed thing will play a part in that process... of course there will be objection among human bout this greed-based colonization then the betrayal will play a part and at that very time that dialog (aka my comment) will take place... okey now imagine what happen to na'vi homeworld after d event of that film?

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

    @ImperialEarthEmpire

Furthermore our decisions and actions are based on our free will and not just instincts as (most) animals do.

It's pretty far-fetched saying that humans would kill any other people just because of greed.

What would be the reason for killing them? Greed is no reason. If you kill just for fun without getting any benefits, it has nothing to do with greed.

  • @RedJoker are you familiar with the words n phrase like 'if' or 'one of the reason..' or 'among other things..' maybe some phrase like 'possibility outcomes' or 'good n bad of human nature'? those words were hidden in my comments... do you think im only talking about greed? btw how well do you know about free will beside killing, raping, loving or supporting and saying 'i can do whatever the hell i wanted to!' ?

  • @ImperialEarthEmpire

    RedJoker was stating examples.

Anyone with half a brain knows that free will does not just apply to illegal activities.

  • @LukeLovesRose yes an example far from subject what im trying to say... freewill is something we cannot fully understand even the expert do not dare to summarize it... freewill is not just something we can say 'i can do whatever i want' either it leads to bad or good... dont you think why people when talking about freewill the first example always be the bad thing n then followed by the good?

  • i hope we can all have peace with eachother , and mother nature, one day. <3

  • i think, that avatar is a beutifull message to humans , that we should seriosly stop polluting , destroying, and hating nature. we are the smartest creatures in the planet, still, we are the dumbest creatures on the planet also. we think we own everything, THIS MOVIE SHOWS that we are going to pay if we go that far, destroying others than just this planet, THERE IS STILL NATURE LEFT ON EARTH, please.. dont destroy all that is good and green... i think there is still hope to save it.

  • "should see your faces" - best part of the trailer

  • 218 anti-environmentalists so far. So sad. No matter what you think of the movie, the plot, the acting, the... whatever. If you are here - on the Earth - you have to see that as a privilege. I am fairly aware that not everbody on Earth have the same opportunities. But if you're able get on youtube that's cause you have some advantages. Just think about it.

  • I liked the part with epicness.

  • I think that the plot and the characters do not always have to be that important in a movie. Yes it is a worn-out plot, yes there is little characterization, but who did not feel thrilled when they ride the banshees in the magnificent background? We can just enjoy the magnificent sights and wonder at how much work and technological advances were put into this movie.

  • Comment removed

  • may the best trailer i've ever seen!! ;D

  • AVATAR > INEPTION

  • @90sambabam2 Inception < Avatar < Tron Legacy

  • Comment removed

  • @90sambabam2 that doesn't make sense, you've just said avatar was better than inception and now you have inception better than avatar?

  • @KryptonPlayer

He doesn't know what he's doing. lol. What a shock.

  • @KryptonPlayer sorry, I meant: Prince of persia < Inception < Avatar

  • This is the CRUDEST kind of LEFTWING PROPAGANDA I have ever seen.

This is 'cowboys and Indians' set in the 22nd century, for chrissakes.

This is what every union thug teacher has been forcefeeding our kids for fifty years.

No wonder it's so popular....the kids are probably getting EXTRA CREDIT for watching it.

  • And the hero is a Marine who betrays his country and his comrades. Did Code fucking Pink get to collaborate on the screenplay?

  • @ironhorzmn Yes it' s true, those fucking marines represent the cowboy bastards that killed thousands of innocent Indians in the past.

  • What's your point?

That we did something that every other nation at some point in its history has done, including the British Empire, Spain, the Islamic Empire, Japan, France and much of Africa?

Where is the outrage over the Japanese Rape of Nanking?

Why aren't there films being made crucifying Stalin for murdering millions of his own people and tens of thousands of Polish officers during WWII?

Libs' REAL target is America. Don't pretend you give a shit about 'innocent Indians'.

  • @ironhorzmn

Good point. We have more than enough movies about the fucking holocaust. There have been soo many more atrocities in the world's history, it's not funny.

Hopefully, Avatar will inspire filmmakers to expand their horizons a little bit.

  • @ironhorzmn well there are thousands of books and documantaries against stain, but i havent seen anything like that against the americans who invaded vietnam. this is the only holywood film that is actualy somehow against the usa. you can go see rambo if you want but that does not change the historical facts and all the murders that this nation has done is still doing so the banks can make more money.

  • Comment removed

  • @ironhorzmn

There are plenty of films about the Rape of Nanking and Stalin's rule. Just not many of them were made by Americans because most Americans weren't directly effected by those particular events in history.

Avatar's plot falls so flat one can only wonder if James Cameron really spent all that time developing the story or if it was a process of coming up with a way to tie in a bunch of things he could merchandise to children.

  • Comment removed

  • @Hawdkoah You're absolutely right. Just from a cinematic perspective Avatar stinks.

Cameron took an old overused nineteenth-century plot about predatory robber barons and the poor widows and orphans they were putting out of their homes to enrich greedy railroad tycoons and wrapped it in twenty-first century CGI technology.

But as the old saw goes, you can chrome-plate a hundred pounds of horse manure, but you'll never con a biker into bolting it on his bike.

  • @ironhorzmn

Avatar = Horse manure now?? LOL. Jesus! Get a life! You people are just jealous that this movie made the money it did and your favorite crap didn't. It's like a SW fan attacking a Lord of the Rings fan. It's pathetic.

  • @LukeLovesRose I don't have any 'favorite crap' and I wouldn't know how much it made if I did.

'Avatar' is another remake of a rehash of a retreaded worn-out old story of evil imperialists trampling the noble innocent indigenous peoples under their jackboots for their (rubber, oil, copra, diamonds, guano, gold, etc., etc., etc.).

This plot could describe most of the history of the British East India Company and the British Empire, for example.

  • @ironhorzmn

    Whatever. LOL.

  • CHECK OUT MY AVATAR - NEW Launch Trailer (HD)
