I think this didn't make the final album because it didn't fit as well with the theme as the other songs. Lacuna Coil wants to send a message with their album, not make money.

yeah i agree this song and oblivion should replace stuff like 'the pain', 'underdog' and 'unchained' as the actual tracks on shallow life. the problem with those songs is that the lyrics are too repetitive and they're pretty crap anyway. lucky some of the other songs on the album are gems

This song is easily better than 3/4 of the songs on the "Shallow" album known as "Shallow Life." They should've admitted "The Pain" for this song.

I wish it was from a different album so it didn't have the same riffs but the lyrics are very different and good.

Man I'm so pissed, Oblivion and The Last Goodbye should be on the regular Shallow Life! Lacuna coil isn't the first band to do that, Alter Bridge has three extra's they only released over seas and those are three of their best songs! AHHHHH, oh well, it's still a great song and a good vid!

@LegendaryGerous It's cause they wanted to change their image and sell it to americans because we "USUALLY" spend the most moeny on stuff like this. They know america has a problem accepting change because they know we are smart enough to see when a band sells out, so they must convince us this is really them. They give the other countries these songs so they think they havent sold out, but need a song that sounds solid like this and oblivion on the album. typical Music industry BS...

Japanese don't have the chance of downloading as many songs as we do through the internet. Bands put extra songs on the abuns to make it worth to buy, at least is what i read

Japanese releases are usually too expensive, even for them, so they prefer to buy an international edition. To make them buy their own japanese products, the labels usually put bonus tracks to attract them. That's usually the reason.
