3 yrs. ago I was in a music shop and ask to play a Weber. The shoppkeeper told me if I played it I wouldn't be able to leave without it. He was right! I bought a Gallatin and love it. I basically play fiddle but do like to play on the mandolin and won't play on someting that has no sound. The Weber is bright and crisp and really has a good bark.
Wow! Hey what gives? Did you "suddenly" become a Weber fan! Just kidding!
What a great sound -- red spruce that is the ticket -- sustain and bell-like!
You are a good spokesperson for the Weber mandolin and that is a very good thing because they are great mandolins. Even better -- the Sound to Earth company, who makes Webers, is still the kind of company you can call up and have a custom mandolin made just for you.
I'm really liking how that song is evolving --very nice tune.
cupidity: greed for possessions (yours, in this case) ... envy ... "gimme'" ... MAS in the extreme. compliments to you again for your beautiful sounding - and looking - mandolin.
I love your Weber, makes me wish I would have kept mine.

wow, nice sustain, you could go get a bite to eat and you'd still be hearing that one.

I was able to get this through trades. It's my only mandolin now. It was my goal to have one mandolin I love as opposed to a few that I liked.
