  • Do you recommend this screen? Is the quality good?

  • where did you buy the monitor at?

  • @zino5555 NCIX, I live in Canada

  • Does it have stereo?

  • @JPNG94 no built in stereo. but it has an earphone jack : 3.5mm Mini-Jack (for HDMI Only)

  • @creationoftheworld I took at quick look at the samsung monitor. I wouldn't say it would be an upgrade to go to this monitor. IMO, an upgrade from that monitor would be 120hz, a better panel type (vs,ips, pls), bigger screen size or a higher resolution then 1920x1080p which will cost more money.

  • @creationoftheworld I wouldn't be against using this for an xbox 360. I'm just wondering what he issue was with the samsung monitor? Also, remember that that this monitor cannot be height adjusted and tilt angles are limited. No ghosting as far as I have seen, image quality is decent, the usual backlight bleeding.

  • good unboxing

  • Should i get it?

  • @V3RM1LI0N It depend on your budget and what using this monitor for? It's good for gaming, the color and blacks aint the best. If no budget and want best picture get ips,va or pls monitor.

  • why thumb down? because fuck u, that's why!

  • what settings do you use on this monitor?im just having a hard time trying to find a good setting :)

  • @onimusha163 To be honest, I just use "standard" setting. But I noticed if you select the "Theatre Mode" you can move over a few tabs and play around with the settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, etc. to your liking. These are all locked on "standard mode". Also, if you have an AMD card, I use to play around with the "video settings" in CCC (Cataylst Control Center) but gave up and just used standard.

  • is the actual screen 23 inches? or do the touch buttons rob you of screen space

  • @pizzaboy212 hello, the actual screen is 23"

  • i like your voice :D

  • @MegaTimebomb098 Don't hear that every day, haha!

  • @BoxeoP4P lol

  • Hello,

Do these have speakers? Also i read that this monitor makes dark brown look grey, and all sorts of colour problems, is this true?

  • @Danz207 Hi, no speakers on this monitor and for the time i've used this monitor no funny color issues have surfaced.

  • Can you adjust color saturation in the options? I like high saturation, but some monitors don't allow adjustments, since most people seem to think high sat is distracting...

  • @MrTrigggrHappy Yes you can adjust color saturation on this monitor. More specifically, There are 5 different pre-set modes to pick from as your monitor settings (standard, theater, game, night view & scenery mode). Standard setting is the only one that does not allow for adjustment of saturation.

  • Question, How tall from the desk is the monitor?

I have a desk in a corner with shelfing above it

However its very tight (360mm or 14.4")

could I get the measurements of the height of the monitor off you?

most places for some reason only show the width -_-

  • @brollysteve after looking abit further i found something that says

    5.9 x 16 x 22.3 inches

so if 16 means " for the height it appears I'm 40mm off -__-

    son I am disappoint...

time to pull out the hacksaw....

  • @brollysteve I see you answered you're on question. I hope you didn't purchase it already if it doesn't fit! But here is my measurement from top to bottom: slightly above 16", so your measurement is correct, 16 inches for the height. The design uses extended plastic peices on the top and bottom of the monitor which only purpose is for looks and the part of the bottom is the stand which I guess you could hacksaw but I wouldnt recommend it lol. hope that helps you

  • if this had a wall mount this would be the greatest ever

  • @kixmgc Agreed, a wall mount would be great. It's a shame.

  • Just a little advice, please tone down the music when you are talking and then tone it up again when you doing things and not talking or else it becomes difficult to hear what you're saying.

  • @madascene99 thanks mada it's much appreciated. I've actually done this on my new videos (i hope) as some folks kindly told me the same thing earlier on.

  • question: What is the max. viewing distance for a monitor with these specs for console gaming? is 2 meter to much dor a 23''?

    Thx!

  • @fredfedet Hello, 2 meters should be no problem for console gaming. (I went to test out the distance for myself) The worse consequence that I could come up with is small text. But depending on your eyesight and/or if you wear glasses even that shouldn't be a problem at 2 meters. Without my glasses I defenitly CANNOT read the normal text size at 2 meters, even 1 meter is hard for me but thats because my eyes are bad at long distance. Hope that helped. P.S: glasses say I have 8/3 vision

  • @BoxeoP4P Thank you! I don't wear glasses so hopefully I will not have problems.

    Thx for helping me ;)

  • @xEvolution72x Thanks evo, so far im enjoying it!

  • @BoxeoP4P Does the ps3 or xbox work with it

  • @BoxeoP4P Does the ps3 or xbox work with it oh and dude do PX21 work with it

  • @CrazyGunner501 Hello, this definetly works with ps3. I don't have an xbox to test but I assume it works with xbox as well as long as it has an hdmi port or anything of that sort. Unfortunately I don't have a PX21 to test either but it does have a HD headphone jack for a headset/headphones on the back of the monitor.

  • very nice monitor !

  • @DeutscherRitterorden thanks, its been pretty good so far =)

  • aww thats a sweet TV / monitor, I could use a DVI to HDMI cable. Very nice job with this unboxing, you're getting very nice.

  • @sheerfe4rstudios thanks sheer =) I feel i'm doing a bit better in these videos as well, thanks to everyones tips and comments like yourself

  • that is indeed different, is it stable/

  • @TheDQKing its extremly stable if pushing it from the sides. Even when pushing it fron the front or back, it wont knock over unless you purposely try to knock it down

  • Cool man! Did you receive it from ASUS as a review sample or what? :p

  • @Tehmig12 Nope ;(

  • @Tehmig12 hey, lol...i wish....I don't think im big enough yet for review products but hopefully one day I can get a review product to post, happy new year btw!

  • @BoxeoP4P :) Happy New Year too!

  • all right nice tv. What is the cost?
