Like many others have said before, many covers have been made of this song but the vocals here are just amazing. Also Riff28Raff shut up man I can't see a good video without you posting 10 pages of comments. You are correct and everyone else is wrong now shut up.
Let's post rock/metal/blues/etc. videos in Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers and such shitty music videos at 17:00 today so that we try to bring some of them to the good side of music.
If you like this, than post it in every video you can so people get this. LONG LIVE ROCK!
@AngPig9 Try steve luongo(drums) & Mark hitt(guitar) both musicians who have played with John entwistle band, rat race choir and many other projects.Including robert plant and john bohnam. For starters look up Mark hitt & steve luongo on you tube or the internet to see their accomplishments.Besides the crappy recording they can be seen playing much harder stuff then rock n roll or ac/dc.World class musicians dope.
@doable1 well you just said AC/DC looks and sounds like shit, you dip shit. look at the singer, thats BRIAN and look at the bassist oh look he's CLIFF WILLIAMS.
AC/DC FOREVER!!! BRIAN THE BEST COVER DE LED Z. ! NO DISCUTAN CARAJO!! AMBOS GRUPOS SON GRANDES PERO AC/DC AUN SIGUE DE PIE Y CON EXITO! Y LED YA DESAPARECIO,,,rR. PLANT Y BRIAN DE LA MISMA EDAD..PERO BRIAN AUN CANTA COMO LOS DIOSES! LARGA VIDA A AC/DC!!
Its brian johnson singing and cliff williams is playing bass in the back to the right, they did a whole bunch of smaller gigs together before black ice.
I read an interview with Cliff Williams a few weeks ago, he said something about some dude's charity musical project. He stated that he and Brian were participating on it when not touring, so they could do charity and keep their skills fresh at the same time. So I'm guessing this video must be related to that project.. anyone knows anything else??
John Entwistle (The Who) started the organization "Classic Rock Cares". Google John Enwhistle. org and "Classic Rock Cares" you should find all you need. There's even a clip on here where Jim Breuer and Brian sing "Hokey Pokey" together pretty damn funny.
Google it. Beck was fired, Page stayed on as the lead. The rest of the band were fighting. Page wanted to rock, they didn't.
The rest is history. Whoever wrote any of that crap you said about Page not being good enough, or as good as Beck is total rubbish. So if you really hate it, stop saying it, and look it up. It's a flat out lie.
I did not mention it because it never happened. You are either getting bad info or making it up. Page WAS the leader of the yardbirds band for quite sometime.
They quit, but not on Page, and Beck had been long gone. Look I like Ac/DC and may other bands, don't get me wrong. Everyone is entitled to there favorite, and there opinion on who is the best, But this story you are making up is simply not true. Check your facts.
That's total horseshit "bud". I don't know why you feel the need to make shit up that didn't happen, but I will give you a lesson here. Beck left the yardbirds, he was fucked up. He asked Jimmy to go with him. Page took over, the rest of the band did quit, but well after Beck left. They weren't ready for Page. He was beyond anything they could ever imagine. He wanted to move forward, they didn't. As For your retarded comment that Page wasn't good enough...Check your history, see what followed.
Rubbish. Page was doing his friend Beck a favor, and joined his band. Beck left, and Page took over the rock seen with his vision. You are entitled to your opinion yes, but you can't change the facts of history.
Far as guitar players go, Page is a thousand times the talent Anus Young is.
Clear to anyone with half a brain... Not sure what makes you think Lang is the be all end all, but I will say this...Your bitch boy lang would also take a back seat to Page as a producer. Page invented most of the production technique mutly uses. Step off, you are dealing with the big boys now. Go back to comparing your band to twisted sister and motley crew and what not. Far more accurate.
AC/DC has the same riff over and over again? haha They are both good, I prefer angus' playing better and that is my opinon. He seems more disciplined and determined to stay in one genre rather than drift off into others. Page is a great guitarist and to some may be better than Angus in their eyes. I think live Angus can pull it together way better than page though in the 70's ang never missed a beat. But who brought angus up in this, he isnt even playing LOL
it's not true!!! Led Zeppelin is great!! But only ac/dc playng in actualyty!! not exist "the best", but exist "the rock'n roll's dinossaurs" it's the true!!
It's dumb to argue about who's the best bands. I'm an AC/DC freak and I know they are fantastic. At the same time I've never heard anything as good as Led Zeppelin in their very early 70's prime. But I love them both.
Led Zeppelin gives this feeling of aw, and they were the first band who made people rock out live and have fun while live. Without Led Zep live concerts today wouldn't be the same, seriously....
dude, led zeppelin is the greatest band on earth. check any list, led zeps number 1. they are versatile unlike AC/DC. i still like both bands a ton though
This is Brian and Cliff in the back at some private performance but NOT AC/DC who will never perform Zeppelin. But anyway Brian is in his top shape despite the bad sound of the video.
Wow! Brian Johnson at age 60 hit all the high notes, something Robert plant was never able to do. Led Zeppelin were a great studio band, but AC/DC have always been the greatest live band in the world. I'll never forgive Jimmy Page for selling out Led Zeppelin's legacy by allowing "Puff Daddy" to sample a Zeppelin song. I think that fat rat was even in the video. Anyway, thank you for posting this.
Jimmy Page didn't! Did he! Which song!? But still JIMMY PAGE RULES!! and are you kidding me! Led Zeppelin is not a studio band, they were one of the greatest band to see live, because they gave you this feeling and they improvise throughout the whole show... They're amazing live! You never saw 1973 New York Led Zeppelin! THEY SERIOUSLY IMPROVISED THE WHOLE SHOW! Which is shocking! They just make you go wow... You ever heard Jimmy Page live! While improvising! Angus Young could never do that...
exatly how, led zeppelin kills them creatively, talentwise, sells wise, accomplishments wise, and they kill acdc live, so exactly how, i'm sorry, acdc are good, but not even half as good or comparable to the mighty zep
Don't get me wrong, I like zep. But they aren't even a fuckin band anymore they're finished. They're reunion concert sucked and robert plant can't sing anymore. Brian johnson did a better job singing that at 61 the robert can do at 59. Brian also didn't have to detune the guitars to be able to sing it. There is alot more energy at an ac/dc concert then led zeppelin. Led Zeppelin was good back in the day. AC/DC has been rockin for well over 30 years. led zeppelin rocked for about 7 years.
not true at all, led zeppelin left a legacy that acdc can't even imagine, and sure the reunion concert wasnt what it used to be, but it was still better than acdc has ever been live, all of acdc's songs kinda sound the same, but i still like them, acdc wouldnt even exist if it wasnt for led zeppelin
WRONG, i was at the led zeppelin reunion, best fuckin show ever, i also went to an acdc show before, and although good, i'm afraid that defender guy is right, acdc is not even comparable to them, i was at the show, you have probably been watching the reunion videos on here, well let me tell ya, a camera, or any other electronic device cannot recreate the amazing sound of a live act, robert sounded amazing
WRONG, i saw them both twice, and the ACDC concerts outdid Led Zeppelin's by miles. what does Robert think he is doing? Singing and combing his hair in front of a mirror? Those little hand gestures he does are ridiculous.
that was the 70s.... AC/DC were the 80s (late 70s too).... Obviously 10 years had past... When time passes, styles changes... But still Robert has this amazing voice, more than Brian Johnson...
haha, wow, you don't know anything about music if you judge plant by his looks, do looks matter, no, that's one of the aspects of rock, who cares how he looks, he still sings better than the acdc singer (who always sounds the same, and never tries anything new, like the rest of the band), how can your tastes be trusted if you judge by looks, acdc are good, but noone, and i mean noone, beats led zeppelin, in anything, especially live
wow wow, fucken right, angus is cool aand i love him but rest of acdc can suck my cock, zepplin forever, = jimmy page, robert plant, jean paul jones, and last but not least john bohnom, best band ever period
brian sounded the same, because he sings the exact same way in all his songs, unlike robert who tries different styles and isnt afraid to change things up, robert plant is more innovative
well man, they were still the top band right when the band ended! It just cause the drummer died (Bonzo RIP) and they just stopped... AC/DC today their new album isn't that big of it becoming a hit, but it was okay, I mean Zeppelin changed music, that's something what AC/DC didn't do, well kinda... and Robert Plant broke his nodes in his throat for singing too high pitch for 5 hours long at a concert, while the doc told him not to do so... he learned the lessons...
and what so special about Robert Plant that Brian Johnson can never do is that Robert feels a different emotion for each song, which changes his voice, the way he felt... It's as if for each song it's a different singer... BUT AC/DC FUCKING ROCKS! AHHHHHHHHHH!
and Led Zeppelin is just better at AC/DC live, they have this power that makes you go wow, they just play, improvise, no tricks, they just do it and the way they feel translate to you... It's amazing you should watch them live, you won't be disappointed you will be shocked...
Sorry AC/DC is better live, Jimmy Page doesn't know how to work a crowd properly. I've watched both of them live and Page just stands there while Angus runs across the stage. Jimmy, is also quite a sloppy player, but he is talented. Their down fall is that each member tried to outshine one another. AC/DC is a band, and they are still making albums unlike Zep. Everybody knew they weren't going to stay together, and what about both bands losing a member the same year? Who carried on it wasn't Zep.
well the only reason Angus can go crazy is because his playing is easy! It's not about the moving, it's about the music, like:
/watch?v=pAa8k-aqqqs&feature=email
at 4:00 he does this dance which influence a lot people, his feet move on air... Robert's voice say stuff at perfect times! And Led Zeppelin has a tiny stage, not much space, not much flashy lights! Just music. And they are still amazing, improvising! Musically Led Zeppelin is better live! And they entertain you with music, unlike ACDC!
The easiest riffs are the hardest to write. AC/DC's philosophy is that they want their fans to feel like they could get up there and do that. AC/DC has had more hits than Led Zeppelin and Led Zeppelin got old real quick. Led Zeppelin is a self indulgent band that shows off. AC/DC doesn't need to show off because they know their good, they don't have to display it repeatedly. AC/DC entertains not Zep, fans of Zep just stand there AC/DC fans get up, sing along, and show their love for the band.
Led Zeppelin is the band that so much hits too, and Led Zeppelin... tell me when they showed off? And wtf, you think they just stay there!?! They scream have fun! That's what made them a great live band at first! To entertain is to show off, or else you don't show anything. But Led Zeppelin just do what they want! Not what the fans want! They do what they want! If you say Led Zep fans don't get and go crazy, then you're crazy. They were the first for that! But earlier, people just listened...
Jimmy and his 30 minute sols during "Dazed and Confused" yeah it's cool at first but then after about 10mins it's like stop already! Exactly that's the problem they went away from their rock roots and went to folk and acoustic crap. They don't care about their fans, AC/DC does, that's why they don't change anything because their smart enough to know that if they did, they'd lose a bunch of die hards; if it's not broke don't fix it!
Acoustic crap... Talk to me when you know music, you don't know it, you just know AC/DC's version of Rock and Roll... Led Zeppelin gives this feeling of aw live, a great feeling. The feeling of wow, how by just doing what they do best!
I know music I've read biographies on many big rock figures including Jimmy Page. Yes I know AC/DC's hard rock, probably more so than many other people, but all I know is that Led Zeppelin shined the most when they played rock. Once they got into folk and acoustic they changed and it wasn't Led Zeppelin anymore. AC/DC gives an awe as well, but it's different from Led Zeppelin's. It's tight, by the book, and power house. Period.
Led Zeppelin is the truest thing to pure rock. And they always had Folk songs in each of their albums. They didn't change, they were influenced by many things and they influenced many things too. Their music turned into new types of music. AC/DC just stuck with Cold Hearted ROCK AND ROLL! YEAH! They both rock, but which one is the most talented? [Led Zeppelin]... Which rocks the most? [AC/DC]... Both are good in their own way... Everybody likes different music, no one is the same..
Led Zeppelin does stuff for themselves, not for the fans, that's what makes them special... But musically Led Zeppelin is better live... And the number one hits, wtf... Both bands have a lot of number one hits... It's what made them...
No that makes them seem stuck up. You can argue with me until your blue in the face of who is better live. It's AC/DC nobody chants anything at a Zep show, AC/DC gives their fans a loud show they will remember and amazing props that enhance the show and make them memorable. Yes Led Zeppelin has had big albums and songs but if you look at where both bands albums are in best selling of all time lists, AC/DC's big albums always beat out Led Zeppelin's big albums.
You never forget a Led Zeppelin performance, if you were there... AC/DC never did beat Led Zeppelin, the two top bands in the chart, that are unbeatable are Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, and no one can compete against these charts, they're too high... They're both good, no one's better... They're both special in their own way, but 'MUSICALLY' Led Zeppelin is better live...
Yes they did! Hello "Back In Black" is the 2nd best selling album of all time. And AC/DC was just named the 2nd best US selling artist in the next to The Beatles. Musically live Led Zeppelin sounds like 4 people that are all playing a different song. AC/DC is renowned for their rhythm section, Led Zeppelin has a really shitty rhythm section. AC/DC can wipe the floor with Led Zep. They could do it 30yrs ago and they could do it now!
fuck you, they're both good in their own way, but MUSICALLY Led Zeppelin, they know how to groove, to be in the rhythm, just by saying that you're sayin Bonzo the drummer of Led Zeppelin sucks at rhythm, try saying to say Bonzo sucks in my face?
If you put Led Zeppelin on a stage with no special effect with the guitar, no violin bows, no special mics, and a bare bones kit they'd suck and you know it! I'm not saying Bonzo sucks at all, but put him behind the kit and try to make him drum just a strait beat, he couldn't do it, he's really loose. It looks like if you went and jumped in front of him while he's doing "Moby Dick" he'd screw up. Phil Rudd is the best hitter since Charlie Watts and has badass written all over his face!
Bonzo could do anything on the drums... And yes he was use for being live and people screaming at him! Bonzo, he's one of the greatest drummers ever... I don't why you're saying stuff that you don't even know, and that never happened... Led Zeppelin is all about the music... And yes they did that once, for Communication Breakdown and others... Acoustically they needed no special things... I mean they're great live, they were the first band that ever had live shows like that, where you're rockin!
Bonzo may have been able to do "anything" but that doesn't mean he could do it all well. Listen to Phil Rudd, Charlie Watts or Simon Kirke, that is tight drumming. Excuse me, in almost every song there is some kind of foot pedal, echo, synthesizer, violin bow Led Zep is known for that stuff, their not known for their tightness as a band. And let me not forget to mention that AC/DC was a band that was not into drugs. They created their music from their heart and not with the help from a substance.
Led Zeppelin didn't took drugs, Bonzo drank alcohol, the others were clean except for Page's addiction on heroin... His friend brought him into it... But still who's more talented?
Sorry hun Heroin is a drug. The only ones that actually wanted to make music past 1975 were John Paul and Robert. It doesn't matter if his "friend" introduced him into it there is such a thing called will power and the word "no". Who's more talented? I can't say because in my heart it would be AC/DC because of the fact that they are so tight. Plus Led Zep never had to deal with half of the stuff that AC/DC had to. They were accepted virtually over night. It took AC/DC 6years to get recognition.
I said EXCEPT! Uh... That's because Jimmy Page was already in the music industry when it started... And Led Zeppelin, used to be Lead Zeppelin, and also back then it used to be The Yardbirds. AC/DC wasn't accepted to the studios obviously because they were too young and too new, meaning that they just started. Led Zeppelin got really famous from the second album. And did you think that Led Zeppelin knew what they were giong to be famous? NO! They just didn't care, they just did it for the music.
They all were in the music industry when they started. AC/DC was not known at all the two brothers were respected in Aussie because of their brothers. It had nothing to do with their age it had to do with where they came from. Led Zep knew they were a hit. And that hurt them because they never really experienced any lows. They never had to live in the same house for 2yrs, they never had to drive from gigs in one car, they never had their record company release one record and skip the next one.
Led Zeppelin didn't knew they were a hit at first. And when you think of yourself as god, you feel down lows. When you see yourself as a normal person, you're okay. They did drive in ars together, just the band too. They couldn't stay long in house, that's true, because they had to go to tours and they lived separated from each other for their families, but while on tours, they're together for a long time. Led Zeppelin is Led Zeppelin the truest thing close to pure rock. No band gets closer.
Yes but they had drivers AC/DC had to drive themselves from city to city and Led Zeppelin never had to do 3,4, and 5 gigs a day. Zeppelin couldn't live together because they'd kill each other. When their on tour doesn't mean their always together. AC/DC had to share hotel rooms with each other and to this day they all have their own tour bus but they prefer to travel in pairs or as a whole. Led Zeppelin isn't really rock their pioneers of heavy metal. The purest in rock is The Rolling Stones.
wtf does that have to do with their music? And led Zeppelin lived in apartments and had so much fun, like the original throw the tv out the window trick... lol, those times... The Rolling Stones is more Rock And Roll, but pure pure pure ROCK is Led Zeppelin, they are the truest, and that is a know fact...
See that's another difference between Zeppelin and AC/DC. Smashing t.v's that's called destruction of property and disrespect. Malcolm Young once said that if someone gave him a t.v. to throw out a windowm he'd just assume take it home rather than destroy it. Led Zeppelin never had to work hard for anything. They were respected by the public, their peers, and the press from day one. AC/DC had to work their asses off for everything they've accomplished and they deserve every bit of it.
what lol... Those days, everyone threw tvs out the window once and awhile... Led Zeppelin worked hard to reach were they're now, look you're telling that they reached top box hits on the top charts of selling records! They went over the Beatles!! It takes time, it takes effort to do that... It's rough all over! Everything isn't easy... Except the riffs of AC/DC to play, but still... AND ONE MINUTE! I remember you saying that they were drove to places by someone else, mostly it was by themselves.
Not every one. AC/DC can proudly say they've never done that. They may have went over The Beatles but they didn't stay there. AC/DC's riffs aren't easy they seem easy but when you play them you soon realize that the beats, and timings they play over make it hard. And there is only one true psychic thought between guitarists and they are Malcolm and Angus Young. No one can sound as good as AC/DC can when they play all together in a song like Back In Black NO ONE. Led Zeppelin did have drivers.
Okay im sorry but You have absolutly no idea what youre talking about. And, trying to be as un-biased as possible, Led Zeppelin IS much better than AC/DC. For AC/DC songs, really the only chords you need to know how to play are A, D, E, and G and you can play probably 3/4 of all AC/DC songs. And saying that Phil Rudd is even close to Bonzo is stupid - you say that Bonzo cant keep a straight beat, listen to the Immigrant Song or When the Levee Breaks - Two staightfoward songs.
Yes I do know what I'm talking about! If Led Zeppelin is so much better than AC/DC then tell me why are they not around today? The simplest riffs are the hardest to write and no matter how hard you try it still won't sound as good as AC/DC does it. Take the song "Get Back" by The Beatles people say that they could've wrote that song because it's so simple, well then why didn't you? No a straight beat song would be like "T.N.T" or something like "Back In Black".
Well I don't why, but doesn't every song has timing in them? And you're saying Led Zeppelin doesn't have timing in them? EVERY SONG HAS TIMING! But the easier it is to play, then the easier to go with the timing, but one minute, try to time Since I've Been Loving You timing correctly, perfectly? Isn't that more of a challenge.
Yeah every song might have timing but it might not have feeling, or swing. Okay "Since I've Been Loving You" is a little harder but what about "Back In Black", "Boogie Man", "It's a Long Way To The Top", or "For Those About To Rock". The break of the second last song is incredibly hard because it involves bagpipes, and the end of the last one is timed with firing cannons. And "Back In Black" is said to be some of the best drumming patterns on a record ever.
You're saying that Led Zeppelin has no feeling? Maybe not, but still these riffs are like Whole Lotta Love, it's hard timing, and the riff was actually meant to feel *humps*, and it works too. And what bout Black Dog, that's a hard tempo of a song, because it changes, but all the riffs go together which is incredible. But still AC/Dc still has hard timing, like Thunderstruck, for me it's easy, but I still make a few mistakes there and there, but same thing for some Zeppelin songs too.
Well AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie" is an actual riff thing using the same note. What about "Show Business" or "Back In Black", "Beating Around The Bush", those are all difficult.
well they can be difficult for you, but not for me, it depends on the person... I find the hardest technique to play on guitar is Hendrix, his songs are all uniquely done well, I mean there's no technique that repeats, but that's the technique, like the intro of Hey Joe, it's perfect, but Jimmy is musically better than Angus, but I like both!
I don't play an instrument but I have a brother that is a very talented guitar player and it took him weeks to master some of AC/DC's licks. As for Jimi Hendrix, he is the best guitarist that ever lived in my opinion and either Eric Clapton or Jeff Beck would be the best living ones.
Jimmy Page took practice too, but for me, everyone's different, but for me it took about 5 mins till I got AC/DC's riffs perfect, I don't know, a natural talent I just have, basically, all guitar works I've done so far wasn't that hard for me, just my works I create (not trying to sound arrogant)...
I very highly doubt that you sounded as good as AC/DC or Led Zeppelin because no one can duplicate such glory but the band, or maybe their children as an exception.
No he doesn't! He knows how to do fast beats and paradiddles! Perfection is Phil Rudd! On an AC/DC record you can listen to his drumming and know that he means it! At least he's kind enough of a drummer to keep the beat for his guitarist. On songs like White Summer and half of Bring It On Home he just sits there while Jimmy's playing. Talk about letting him fend for himself. AC/DC's rhythm section compares to no one else's they lay a very very solid base for Angus to fall back on.
Yes Bonzo's a groover, I just can't see how you can disagree, there's songs where he does slow too... 1 min... Is Phil Rudd the drummer of AC/DC, checking... AHHH! OMFG! YOU'RE COMPARING THE DRUMMER OF AC/DC TO BONZO! Wtf... You got to be kidding me, you think that! Phil doesn't know what Bonzo does... Bonzo, he just does what he does, he grooves like no other. Bonzo is the beats of the drums, he's the master. And what do you mean leaving his friend behind. Drumming don't need to be everywhere.
A good drummer keeps the beat constantly and drives it home. Yes Phil is the drummer of AC/DC idiot. Phil Rudd is way better than Bonzo at keeping the beat.
Bonzo grooves, he's better than Phil, you idiot... How can you say that... That's impossible to say! Tell me when Bonzo didn't got the beat right? Bonzo grooves and adds stuff to the beat, which is amazing, in all of Led Zeppelin songs, Bonzo has different grooves! And that's amazing!
He may be a faster drummer and do more tricks but Phil Rudd is the best straight ahead hard rock drummer in the world. You can't get a more tighter drummer. It's a known fact.
It's a known fact that Phil Rudd is the best STRAIGHT AHEAD drummer in hard rock, I'm not talking about tricks, speed, any of that. I'm talking about keeping a simple beat. At least you can see his face while he's playing!
Bonzo can do anything on the drums even what Phil Rudd does and more... You're comparing Bonzo for christ's sake! Bonzo! Bonzo should only be compared to Neil Peart and Keith Moon...
Neil Peart is annoying and Keith Moon I would say is better. You really can't compare Phil to John because Phil is so trained in what he does and he never changes. John would do what he felt like whenever he felt like it, Phil would get his ass kicked and he wouldn't do that to the other members just to have his own time to shine. He has never felt a need for that, nor was he ever given the chance.
Led Zeppelin acts as one! What's so bad about that? But I don't know how they do it, like JPJ and Bonzo were having a discussion about who should start playing first at Page's solo, lol, and Bonzo said it was him, and JPJ said there you go, lol! And they improvised that solo, and it's a very hard thing to do, but they're so talented they get use of doing that! Led Zeppelin acts as one, and never thinks itself apart... Paradise on the tour, paradise at home with the family. But worked!!
That's bull crap no band is tighter than AC/DC. Who should play first? They should know that, and JPJ is suppose to keep his eye on Bonzo constantly. As far as Jimmy's solos, in order to get back into the original riff his que to Bonzo is jumping towards him. Phil gets no que from Angus during his strip tease, he keeps the beat the entire time and reads his mind of when everybody is going to come back in. You can see him counting out the beats. Oh yeah how many times has Jimmy been married?
there's no ques plus, there's only music. They're improvising, when improvising you can do anything, you don't know who should play first, but where on person takes it into another direction you follow them, you're never on a strait road, but a zig-zaggy one. All the band acts as one, because they got the spark when they first jammed, and it's fin to improvise, Angus I don't think he improvises, because it's the same solo each time, but the solos aren't as great as Jimmy's. AC/DC is still great.
Any good band has rehearsals to work out what they're gonna do before hand so they don't look like rambling idiots. What are you talking about? Angus improvises at least twice a show if not more. And it's not the same solo he changes it when the song is changed. And anyone that is the same is because it's one of his signature solos. That's the same with Robert using the same line in every song when he's "improvising" "Lonely(Lawdy) mama I want you to love me true."
Squeeze my Lemon! Lol! That's funny improvisation... But still no one can improvise like Led Zeppelin, seriously, Angus is a good improviser, but Jimmy is way off the chart.
obviously, thanks to Hendrix kids could learn his techniques and be as good as him in 2 years or so (but to master over 7 years). It's always like that, the good guitarist learn these techniques while young and make it difficult while older, and generation after generation, it's like that, but really less bands have been coming up with original works and feeling, more and more artists, who want fame, fortune and females. They don't do it for the music, and they're just ripping off older songs 2.
but still what does marriage has to do with music? I'm mean when you become great, you get the girls, so what if Jimmy married some groupies and broke up with them. I mean even Angus got horny, Jimmy loved sex, Angus loved sex. Like one of his quotes (have to go searching):
"I saw all the women and I figured that looked good. I was horney. I got a guitar off my brother and started playing anything."
I mean it's sex and it's girls, duh! Jim Morrison loved sex, every fucking guy loves sex!
You said they had happy families getting divorced multiple times is not a happy family. So what if Angus had sex. And that quote was said in a funny way he didn't mean it. Angus has been married once, to the same girl since 1980. They met in July '79 and were married by February '80. As for Malcolm he's the same, he met his wife in '77 and dated her until April '79 when they got married and have been married ever since. That's rare for rock stars.
Only for Jimmy. But still WTF! WTF does marriages have to do with music again? Jimmy was no catholic, he was a satanist. And before you criticize that you should find out what satanist do and believe in, because they don't believe in Satan.

I read an interview with Cliff Williams a few weeks ago, he said something about some dude's charity musical project. He stated that he and Brian were participating on it when not touring, so they could do charity and keep their skills fresh at the same time. So I'm guessing this video must be related to that project.. anyone knows anything else??
handrix89 2 years ago 5
John Entwistle (The Who) started the organization "Classic Rock Cares". Google John Enwhistle. org and "Classic Rock Cares" you should find all you need. There's even a clip on here where Jim Breuer and Brian sing "Hokey Pokey" together pretty damn funny.

Oh...Can you please point out when mutt face worked with Page? Or Beck for that matter? Be specific please. What project or song or album?
MrZoSo 2 years ago
MrZoSo 2 years ago
I did not mention it because it never happened. You are either getting bad info or making it up. Page WAS the leader of the yardbirds band for quite sometime.
They quit, but not on Page, and Beck had been long gone. Look I like Ac/DC and may other bands, don't get me wrong. Everyone is entitled to there favorite, and there opinion on who is the best, But this story you are making up is simply not true. Check your facts.
MrZoSo 2 years ago
That's total horseshit "bud". I don't know why you feel the need to make shit up that didn't happen, but I will give you a lesson here. Beck left the yardbirds, he was fucked up. He asked Jimmy to go with him. Page took over, the rest of the band did quit, but well after Beck left. They weren't ready for Page. He was beyond anything they could ever imagine. He wanted to move forward, they didn't. As For your retarded comment that Page wasn't good enough...Check your history, see what followed.
MrZoSo 2 years ago
Rubbish. Page was doing his friend Beck a favor, and joined his band. Beck left, and Page took over the rock seen with his vision. You are entitled to your opinion yes, but you can't change the facts of history.
MrZoSo 2 years ago
Far as guitar players go, Page is a thousand times the talent Anus Young is.
Clear to anyone with half a brain... Not sure what makes you think Lang is the be all end all, but I will say this...Your bitch boy lang would also take a back seat to Page as a producer. Page invented most of the production technique mutly uses. Step off, you are dealing with the big boys now. Go back to comparing your band to twisted sister and motley crew and what not. Far more accurate.

nathanhyatt2009 2 years ago
AC/DC has the same riff over and over again? haha They are both good, I prefer angus' playing better and that is my opinon. He seems more disciplined and determined to stay in one genre rather than drift off into others. Page is a great guitarist and to some may be better than Angus in their eyes. I think live Angus can pull it together way better than page though in the 70's ang never missed a beat. But who brought angus up in this, he isnt even playing LOL

Led zeppelin are the most overated band in rock. Bands that have a few hits know that if they split up there record sales will increase over time.

ACDC brings total sheer energy to their concerts. they feel their music more than a lot of people, especially Led Zeppelin.
wackadoo543 3 years ago
Led Zeppelin gives this feeling of aw, and they were the first band who made people rock out live and have fun while live. Without Led Zep live concerts today wouldn't be the same, seriously....

Yeah I think your right, but I'm pretty sure that is Brian Johnson though.
guitaraddict211 3 years ago
RichardCHoagland 3 years ago
Well Robert Plant did it...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Jimmy Page didn't! Did he! Which song!? But still JIMMY PAGE RULES!! and are you kidding me! Led Zeppelin is not a studio band, they were one of the greatest band to see live, because they gave you this feeling and they improvise throughout the whole show... They're amazing live! You never saw 1973 New York Led Zeppelin! THEY SERIOUSLY IMPROVISED THE WHOLE SHOW! Which is shocking! They just make you go wow... You ever heard Jimmy Page live! While improvising! Angus Young could never do that...

LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
The problem I have with AC/DC is that almost all of their songs sound the same. It makes them less interesting. Led Zeppelin has more variety.

AC/DC and Led Zeppelin are both AWSOME!!! Lets not compare (even though you are a little right)
fusebox000 3 years ago
led zeppelin absolutely destroys acdc in every aspect, they are not even comparable, but still good
Defenderofmankind 3 years ago
No, you mean ac/dc destroys led zeppelin in every aspect.
holydiver65 3 years ago
exatly how, led zeppelin kills them creatively, talentwise, sells wise, accomplishments wise, and they kill acdc live, so exactly how, i'm sorry, acdc are good, but not even half as good or comparable to the mighty zep
Defenderofmankind 3 years ago
Don't get me wrong, I like zep. But they aren't even a fuckin band anymore they're finished. They're reunion concert sucked and robert plant can't sing anymore. Brian johnson did a better job singing that at 61 the robert can do at 59. Brian also didn't have to detune the guitars to be able to sing it. There is alot more energy at an ac/dc concert then led zeppelin. Led Zeppelin was good back in the day. AC/DC has been rockin for well over 30 years. led zeppelin rocked for about 7 years.
holydiver65 3 years ago
not true at all, led zeppelin left a legacy that acdc can't even imagine, and sure the reunion concert wasnt what it used to be, but it was still better than acdc has ever been live, all of acdc's songs kinda sound the same, but i still like them, acdc wouldnt even exist if it wasnt for led zeppelin
Defenderofmankind 3 years ago
WRONG, i was at the led zeppelin reunion, best fuckin show ever, i also went to an acdc show before, and although good, i'm afraid that defender guy is right, acdc is not even comparable to them, i was at the show, you have probably been watching the reunion videos on here, well let me tell ya, a camera, or any other electronic device cannot recreate the amazing sound of a live act, robert sounded amazing
wiinerd1234 3 years ago
WRONG, i saw them both twice, and the ACDC concerts outdid Led Zeppelin's by miles. what does Robert think he is doing? Singing and combing his hair in front of a mirror? Those little hand gestures he does are ridiculous.
wackadoo543 3 years ago
that was the 70s.... AC/DC were the 80s (late 70s too).... Obviously 10 years had past... When time passes, styles changes... But still Robert has this amazing voice, more than Brian Johnson...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
This has been flagged as spam show
see I'm right!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
haha, wow, you don't know anything about music if you judge plant by his looks, do looks matter, no, that's one of the aspects of rock, who cares how he looks, he still sings better than the acdc singer (who always sounds the same, and never tries anything new, like the rest of the band), how can your tastes be trusted if you judge by looks, acdc are good, but noone, and i mean noone, beats led zeppelin, in anything, especially live
wiinerd1234 3 years ago
wow wow, fucken right, angus is cool aand i love him but rest of acdc can suck my cock, zepplin forever, = jimmy page, robert plant, jean paul jones, and last but not least john bohnom, best band ever period
nilkman 3 years ago
brian sounded the same, because he sings the exact same way in all his songs, unlike robert who tries different styles and isnt afraid to change things up, robert plant is more innovative
TheDeltoid14 3 years ago
Robert Plant's voice messed up in his 20s...... he had to get some nodes removed...
amelor07 3 years ago
ya, I heard he just broke his throat while live at iceland and everybody heard it...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
well man, they were still the top band right when the band ended!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
and what so special about Robert Plant that Brian Johnson can never do is that Robert feels a different emotion for each song, which changes his voice, the way he felt... It's as if for each song it's a different singer... BUT AC/DC FUCKING ROCKS! AHHHHHHHHHH!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
and Led Zeppelin is just better at AC/DC live, they have this power that makes you go wow, they just play, improvise, no tricks, they just do it and the way they feel translate to you... It's amazing you should watch them live, you won't be disappointed you will be shocked...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Sorry AC/DC is better live, Jimmy Page doesn't know how to work a crowd properly. I've watched both of them live and Page just stands there while Angus runs across the stage. Jimmy, is also quite a sloppy player, but he is talented. Their down fall is that each member tried to outshine one another. AC/DC is a band, and they are still making albums unlike Zep. Everybody knew they weren't going to stay together, and what about both bands losing a member the same year? Who carried on it wasn't Zep.
Highland45 3 years ago
well the only reason Angus can go crazy is because his playing is easy!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
The easiest riffs are the hardest to write. AC/DC's philosophy is that they want their fans to feel like they could get up there and do that. AC/DC has had more hits than Led Zeppelin and Led Zeppelin got old real quick. Led Zeppelin is a self indulgent band that shows off. AC/DC doesn't need to show off because they know their good, they don't have to display it repeatedly. AC/DC entertains not Zep, fans of Zep just stand there AC/DC fans get up, sing along, and show their love for the band.
Highland45 3 years ago
Led Zeppelin is the band that so much hits too, and Led Zeppelin... tell me when they showed off? And wtf, you think they just stay there!?! They scream have fun! That's what made them a great live band at first! To entertain is to show off, or else you don't show anything. But Led Zeppelin just do what they want! Not what the fans want! They do what they want! If you say Led Zep fans don't get and go crazy, then you're crazy. They were the first for that! But earlier, people just listened...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Jimmy and his 30 minute sols during "Dazed and Confused" yeah it's cool at first but then after about 10mins it's like stop already! Exactly that's the problem they went away from their rock roots and went to folk and acoustic crap. They don't care about their fans, AC/DC does, that's why they don't change anything because their smart enough to know that if they did, they'd lose a bunch of die hards; if it's not broke don't fix it!
Highland45 3 years ago
Acoustic crap... Talk to me when you know music, you don't know it, you just know AC/DC's version of Rock and Roll... Led Zeppelin gives this feeling of aw live, a great feeling. The feeling of wow, how by just doing what they do best!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
I know music I've read biographies on many big rock figures including Jimmy Page. Yes I know AC/DC's hard rock, probably more so than many other people, but all I know is that Led Zeppelin shined the most when they played rock. Once they got into folk and acoustic they changed and it wasn't Led Zeppelin anymore. AC/DC gives an awe as well, but it's different from Led Zeppelin's. It's tight, by the book, and power house. Period.
Highland45 3 years ago
Led Zeppelin is the truest thing to pure rock. And they always had Folk songs in each of their albums. They didn't change, they were influenced by many things and they influenced many things too. Their music turned into new types of music. AC/DC just stuck with Cold Hearted ROCK AND ROLL! YEAH! They both rock, but which one is the most talented? [Led Zeppelin]... Which rocks the most? [AC/DC]... Both are good in their own way... Everybody likes different music, no one is the same..
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Led Zeppelin does stuff for themselves, not for the fans, that's what makes them special... But musically Led Zeppelin is better live... And the number one hits, wtf... Both bands have a lot of number one hits... It's what made them...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
No that makes them seem stuck up. You can argue with me until your blue in the face of who is better live. It's AC/DC nobody chants anything at a Zep show, AC/DC gives their fans a loud show they will remember and amazing props that enhance the show and make them memorable. Yes Led Zeppelin has had big albums and songs but if you look at where both bands albums are in best selling of all time lists, AC/DC's big albums always beat out Led Zeppelin's big albums.
Highland45 3 years ago
You never forget a Led Zeppelin performance, if you were there... AC/DC never did beat Led Zeppelin, the two top bands in the chart, that are unbeatable are Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, and no one can compete against these charts, they're too high... They're both good, no one's better... They're both special in their own way, but 'MUSICALLY' Led Zeppelin is better live...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Yes they did! Hello "Back In Black" is the 2nd best selling album of all time. And AC/DC was just named the 2nd best US selling artist in the next to The Beatles. Musically live Led Zeppelin sounds like 4 people that are all playing a different song. AC/DC is renowned for their rhythm section, Led Zeppelin has a really shitty rhythm section. AC/DC can wipe the floor with Led Zep. They could do it 30yrs ago and they could do it now!
Highland45 3 years ago
fuck you, they're both good in their own way, but MUSICALLY Led Zeppelin, they know how to groove, to be in the rhythm, just by saying that you're sayin Bonzo the drummer of Led Zeppelin sucks at rhythm, try saying to say Bonzo sucks in my face?
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
If you put Led Zeppelin on a stage with no special effect with the guitar, no violin bows, no special mics, and a bare bones kit they'd suck and you know it! I'm not saying Bonzo sucks at all, but put him behind the kit and try to make him drum just a strait beat, he couldn't do it, he's really loose. It looks like if you went and jumped in front of him while he's doing "Moby Dick" he'd screw up. Phil Rudd is the best hitter since Charlie Watts and has badass written all over his face!
Highland45 3 years ago
Bonzo could do anything on the drums... And yes he was use for being live and people screaming at him! Bonzo, he's one of the greatest drummers ever... I don't why you're saying stuff that you don't even know, and that never happened... Led Zeppelin is all about the music... And yes they did that once, for Communication Breakdown and others... Acoustically they needed no special things... I mean they're great live, they were the first band that ever had live shows like that, where you're rockin!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Bonzo may have been able to do "anything" but that doesn't mean he could do it all well. Listen to Phil Rudd, Charlie Watts or Simon Kirke, that is tight drumming. Excuse me, in almost every song there is some kind of foot pedal, echo, synthesizer, violin bow Led Zep is known for that stuff, their not known for their tightness as a band. And let me not forget to mention that AC/DC was a band that was not into drugs. They created their music from their heart and not with the help from a substance.
Highland45 3 years ago
Led Zeppelin didn't took drugs, Bonzo drank alcohol, the others were clean except for Page's addiction on heroin... His friend brought him into it... But still who's more talented?
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Sorry hun Heroin is a drug. The only ones that actually wanted to make music past 1975 were John Paul and Robert. It doesn't matter if his "friend" introduced him into it there is such a thing called will power and the word "no". Who's more talented? I can't say because in my heart it would be AC/DC because of the fact that they are so tight. Plus Led Zep never had to deal with half of the stuff that AC/DC had to. They were accepted virtually over night. It took AC/DC 6years to get recognition.
Highland45 3 years ago
I said EXCEPT! Uh... That's because Jimmy Page was already in the music industry when it started... And Led Zeppelin, used to be Lead Zeppelin, and also back then it used to be The Yardbirds. AC/DC wasn't accepted to the studios obviously because they were too young and too new, meaning that they just started. Led Zeppelin got really famous from the second album. And did you think that Led Zeppelin knew what they were giong to be famous? NO! They just didn't care, they just did it for the music.
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
They all were in the music industry when they started. AC/DC was not known at all the two brothers were respected in Aussie because of their brothers. It had nothing to do with their age it had to do with where they came from. Led Zep knew they were a hit. And that hurt them because they never really experienced any lows. They never had to live in the same house for 2yrs, they never had to drive from gigs in one car, they never had their record company release one record and skip the next one.
Highland45 3 years ago
Led Zeppelin didn't knew they were a hit at first. And when you think of yourself as god, you feel down lows. When you see yourself as a normal person, you're okay. They did drive in ars together, just the band too. They couldn't stay long in house, that's true, because they had to go to tours and they lived separated from each other for their families, but while on tours, they're together for a long time. Led Zeppelin is Led Zeppelin the truest thing close to pure rock. No band gets closer.
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Yes but they had drivers AC/DC had to drive themselves from city to city and Led Zeppelin never had to do 3,4, and 5 gigs a day. Zeppelin couldn't live together because they'd kill each other. When their on tour doesn't mean their always together. AC/DC had to share hotel rooms with each other and to this day they all have their own tour bus but they prefer to travel in pairs or as a whole. Led Zeppelin isn't really rock their pioneers of heavy metal. The purest in rock is The Rolling Stones.
Highland45 3 years ago
wtf does that have to do with their music? And led Zeppelin lived in apartments and had so much fun, like the original throw the tv out the window trick... lol, those times... The Rolling Stones is more Rock And Roll, but pure pure pure ROCK is Led Zeppelin, they are the truest, and that is a know fact...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
See that's another difference between Zeppelin and AC/DC. Smashing t.v's that's called destruction of property and disrespect. Malcolm Young once said that if someone gave him a t.v. to throw out a windowm he'd just assume take it home rather than destroy it. Led Zeppelin never had to work hard for anything. They were respected by the public, their peers, and the press from day one. AC/DC had to work their asses off for everything they've accomplished and they deserve every bit of it.
Highland45 3 years ago

Highland45 3 years ago
Okay im sorry but You have absolutly no idea what youre talking about. And, trying to be as un-biased as possible, Led Zeppelin IS much better than AC/DC. For AC/DC songs, really the only chords you need to know how to play are A, D, E, and G and you can play probably 3/4 of all AC/DC songs. And saying that Phil Rudd is even close to Bonzo is stupid - you say that Bonzo cant keep a straight beat, listen to the Immigrant Song or When the Levee Breaks - Two staightfoward songs.
zeppelinfan444 3 years ago
Good grooves too! Bonzo never liked to call it beats, he called them grooves, because he just grooves with it!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Yes I do know what I'm talking about! If Led Zeppelin is so much better than AC/DC then tell me why are they not around today? The simplest riffs are the hardest to write and no matter how hard you try it still won't sound as good as AC/DC does it. Take the song "Get Back" by The Beatles people say that they could've wrote that song because it's so simple, well then why didn't you? No a straight beat song would be like "T.N.T" or something like "Back In Black".
Highland45 3 years ago
ha! just saying "Zeppelin is better than ACDC" is plain biased.
wackadoo543 3 years ago 2
Well I don't why, but doesn't every song has timing in them? And you're saying Led Zeppelin doesn't have timing in them? EVERY SONG HAS TIMING! But the easier it is to play, then the easier to go with the timing, but one minute, try to time Since I've Been Loving You timing correctly, perfectly? Isn't that more of a challenge.
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Yeah every song might have timing but it might not have feeling, or swing. Okay "Since I've Been Loving You" is a little harder but what about "Back In Black", "Boogie Man", "It's a Long Way To The Top", or "For Those About To Rock". The break of the second last song is incredibly hard because it involves bagpipes, and the end of the last one is timed with firing cannons. And "Back In Black" is said to be some of the best drumming patterns on a record ever.
Highland45 3 years ago
You're saying that Led Zeppelin has no feeling? Maybe not, but still these riffs are like Whole Lotta Love, it's hard timing, and the riff was actually meant to feel *humps*, and it works too. And what bout Black Dog, that's a hard tempo of a song, because it changes, but all the riffs go together which is incredible. But still AC/Dc still has hard timing, like Thunderstruck, for me it's easy, but I still make a few mistakes there and there, but same thing for some Zeppelin songs too.
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Well AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie" is an actual riff thing using the same note. What about "Show Business" or "Back In Black", "Beating Around The Bush", those are all difficult.
Highland45 3 years ago
well they can be difficult for you, but not for me, it depends on the person... I find the hardest technique to play on guitar is Hendrix, his songs are all uniquely done well, I mean there's no technique that repeats, but that's the technique, like the intro of Hey Joe, it's perfect, but Jimmy is musically better than Angus, but I like both!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
I don't play an instrument but I have a brother that is a very talented guitar player and it took him weeks to master some of AC/DC's licks. As for Jimi Hendrix, he is the best guitarist that ever lived in my opinion and either Eric Clapton or Jeff Beck would be the best living ones.
Highland45 3 years ago 2
Jimmy Page took practice too, but for me, everyone's different, but for me it took about 5 mins till I got AC/DC's riffs perfect, I don't know, a natural talent I just have, basically, all guitar works I've done so far wasn't that hard for me, just my works I create (not trying to sound arrogant)...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
I very highly doubt that you sounded as good as AC/DC or Led Zeppelin because no one can duplicate such glory but the band, or maybe their children as an exception.
Highland45 3 years ago
talented has almost nothing to do with it.
wackadoo543 3 years ago
Talent is what makes you good, original on guitar, creating something new, new techniques...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Bonzo knows how to groove, to get everything perfect in the rhythm, except sometimes his bass pedal squeaks...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
No he doesn't! He knows how to do fast beats and paradiddles! Perfection is Phil Rudd! On an AC/DC record you can listen to his drumming and know that he means it! At least he's kind enough of a drummer to keep the beat for his guitarist. On songs like White Summer and half of Bring It On Home he just sits there while Jimmy's playing. Talk about letting him fend for himself. AC/DC's rhythm section compares to no one else's they lay a very very solid base for Angus to fall back on.
Highland45 3 years ago
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
A good drummer keeps the beat constantly and drives it home. Yes Phil is the drummer of AC/DC idiot. Phil Rudd is way better than Bonzo at keeping the beat.
Highland45 3 years ago
Bonzo grooves, he's better than Phil, you idiot... How can you say that... That's impossible to say! Tell me when Bonzo didn't got the beat right? Bonzo grooves and adds stuff to the beat, which is amazing, in all of Led Zeppelin songs, Bonzo has different grooves! And that's amazing!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
He may be a faster drummer and do more tricks but Phil Rudd is the best straight ahead hard rock drummer in the world. You can't get a more tighter drummer. It's a known fact.
Highland45 3 years ago
No! A known fact is that Bonzo is one of the best better than Phil...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago 2
It's a known fact that Phil Rudd is the best STRAIGHT AHEAD drummer in hard rock, I'm not talking about tricks, speed, any of that. I'm talking about keeping a simple beat. At least you can see his face while he's playing!
Highland45 3 years ago
Bonzo can do anything on the drums even what Phil Rudd does and more... You're comparing Bonzo for christ's sake! Bonzo! Bonzo should only be compared to Neil Peart and Keith Moon...
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Neil Peart is annoying and Keith Moon I would say is better. You really can't compare Phil to John because Phil is so trained in what he does and he never changes. John would do what he felt like whenever he felt like it, Phil would get his ass kicked and he wouldn't do that to the other members just to have his own time to shine. He has never felt a need for that, nor was he ever given the chance.
Highland45 3 years ago
Led Zeppelin acts as one! What's so bad about that? But I don't know how they do it, like JPJ and Bonzo were having a discussion about who should start playing first at Page's solo, lol, and Bonzo said it was him, and JPJ said there you go, lol! And they improvised that solo, and it's a very hard thing to do, but they're so talented they get use of doing that! Led Zeppelin acts as one, and never thinks itself apart... Paradise on the tour, paradise at home with the family. But worked!!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
That's bull crap no band is tighter than AC/DC. Who should play first? They should know that, and JPJ is suppose to keep his eye on Bonzo constantly. As far as Jimmy's solos, in order to get back into the original riff his que to Bonzo is jumping towards him. Phil gets no que from Angus during his strip tease, he keeps the beat the entire time and reads his mind of when everybody is going to come back in. You can see him counting out the beats. Oh yeah how many times has Jimmy been married?
Highland45 3 years ago
there's no ques plus, there's only music.
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Any good band has rehearsals to work out what they're gonna do before hand so they don't look like rambling idiots. What are you talking about? Angus improvises at least twice a show if not more. And it's not the same solo he changes it when the song is changed. And anyone that is the same is because it's one of his signature solos. That's the same with Robert using the same line in every song when he's "improvising" "Lonely(Lawdy) mama I want you to love me true."
Highland45 3 years ago
Squeeze my Lemon! Lol! That's funny improvisation... But still no one can improvise like Led Zeppelin, seriously, Angus is a good improviser, but Jimmy is way off the chart.
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
Jimmy WAS good. There are people that have surpassed him by now.
Highland45 3 years ago
obviously, thanks to Hendrix kids could learn his techniques and be as good as him in 2 years or so (but to master over 7 years). It's always like that, the good guitarist learn these techniques while young and make it difficult while older, and generation after generation, it's like that, but really less bands have been coming up with original works and feeling, more and more artists, who want fame, fortune and females. They don't do it for the music, and they're just ripping off older songs 2.
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
but still what does marriage has to do with music? I'm mean when you become great, you get the girls, so what if Jimmy married some groupies and broke up with them. I mean even Angus got horny, Jimmy loved sex, Angus loved sex. Like one of his quotes (have to go searching):
"I saw all the women and I figured that looked good. I was horney. I got a guitar off my brother and started playing anything."
I mean it's sex and it's girls, duh! Jim Morrison loved sex, every fucking guy loves sex!
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
You said they had happy families getting divorced multiple times is not a happy family. So what if Angus had sex. And that quote was said in a funny way he didn't mean it. Angus has been married once, to the same girl since 1980. They met in July '79 and were married by February '80. As for Malcolm he's the same, he met his wife in '77 and dated her until April '79 when they got married and have been married ever since. That's rare for rock stars.
Highland45 3 years ago
Only for Jimmy. But still WTF! WTF does marriages have to do with music again? Jimmy was no catholic, he was a satanist. And before you criticize that you should find out what satanist do and believe in, because they don't believe in Satan.
LinkBulletBill 3 years ago
You brought it up, I'm just answering to what you fucking said! What does religion have to do with music?
Highland45 3 years ago
Ooo... Got me there! Lol! But you were the one that said Angus w
