Fun fact 3 kW = 3,000 W. At $4.00/W a 3 kW slrpnl would cost around 3,000 W * $4.00/W = $12,000, not $300-$500 Also, using price per unit power is a sensible means of comparing solar cell technologies from a number of economic standpoints. But it does not reflect the price of production, with respect to the complains about how a nanotechnological cell could be more expensive. But they should be more expensive anyway, since controlling production of quantum dots, etc is very expensive.

When you look at the lead actor it`s like that quote about staring into the void and the void staring back at you. I bet in reality the scene went like this -

"I need ten million dollars to make a movie"
