@cescabea3 Not necessarily, if it's a hardcore competition studio, then maybe. But I'm at a studio where anyone can join and we have one competition "class". (We are a small studio so we only have one dance going to competitions) We technically have an audition for said class, but it's super relaxed and nobody is turned away, the auditions are just so that the choreographer can get an idea as to what we can do and what we can't do.
@littlerinistrikes If you are an adult you should ashamed of yourself...If your a child you should know better... whether a child is fat or thin...it is an insult to talk about a childs weight...she is 11 years old...she does not have a weight issue... her whole family is naturally thin beautiful people! If someone is fat most people have the manners not to comment on it.. Extend those manners to thin people please...dont pick at her body...watch her dance~!
@dontbemeanie it isn't an insult. im concerned about a fellow humans health. we live in a world where beauty is determined by your dress size. and it shouldn't be. i was in dancing for many years and i know the kind of scrutiny your body undergoes when you are part of dancing. don't attack me for expressing a concern. it isn't healthy for anyone to be that thin. especially at such a young fragile age, when her body and mind are developing.
Great expression to fit the class! She is incredibly nimble and graceful. Rather a shame that the lighting was so low, as I think too much finesse is lost in the darkness. This is a first impression for me, as I have not seen her dance before. Maybe a better camera ?
