  • where's the original video

  • 3 people are going to die from cancer

  • @tuckerplowden lol, and i can say that cous i got the big C and I smoke the weed

  • "Cannabinoid system" god that's amazing.

  • I can't wait till Marijuana is proof positive that it's the cure for cancer. The ultimate legalization argument. It'll be legal before then tho. Paul 2012

(I'm not just a stoner supporting Paul for this policy on illegal substances. Pro-freedom)

    I am a stoner tho >_<

  • theres so much proof that marijuana is good for you! so why the hell is it still illegal?

  • @brianrawks123 because it could literally replace thousands of products and remove billions if not, trillions from corporations that rule the world, and because if it were legalized, we would all be able to consciously be "one" with the activation of our pineal glands as a whole. Don't worry, trust the future, it's going to be amazing. Our reality is so amazing I wish ppl would see what i've seen. I know many ppl have, but its definitely not something that you can describe in words. MEDITATE

  • @shootermcgaven7 but it would never stop selling.. it would be as effective as tobacco and alcohol if not better for the economy.

  • TOOOOO bad you have to heat up the Cannabinoids to get high. Animals never got high from eating marijuana. No matter how much bud they would eat..

  • @GreenFurnNW Sure they do. Why wouldn't they? You don't need to heat the Cannabinoids for them to be active. Although THC occurs naturally in the plant as THC-A, in acid form and not nearly as psychoactive as THC, it is not entirely without effect. And some of it will turn into THC whilst in the stomach.

  • @thabeest

you have to activate the canabonoids using heat to get high. Why you think i have to bake weed in a crock pot when making edibles?

  • @GreenFurnNW It's not activating them, it's removing the carboxylic group. As I said THC along with CBD are in the plant in it's raw form as THCA and CBDA, those will turn into thc and cbd either by long term storage or you can rush the process by heat as the carboxylic group is very unstable - only needs a little heat for it to be removed. But eat it in raw form without heating will still get you high, you just need about twice as much. I too heat it up before cooking, though.

  • @thabeest

I just watched a clip on juicing marijuana leaves. You're right. You have done your research. Thanx for the info yo. What does the A stand for in THCA? and CBDA?

  • @GreenFurnNW "THC is created in nature when a plant-produced precursor, a cannabinolic ACID, loses a carboxyl group due to heat and becomes tetrahydrocannabinol" I should also mention if you didn't know it already that when we eat cannabis the Delta-9-THC that we all know so well will turn into Delta 11 THC in our stomach which in return are more potent than Delta 9 THC which again could/or should explain the different effect we get when eating it as apposed to smoking.

  • Yeah right, Cannabis heal cancer and America heals the World. But Michael is alive, and Elvis too.

  • i grew cannabis years ago.i used fox farm organic plant food called.ocean forest.my cannabis grew good+tasted wonderful BUT i became very ill very quickly.i had never gotten sick before.i believe my cannabis was poison.i never fully recovered.im convinced my cannabis was contaminated with toxins or worse radioactivity POSIBLY FROM CONTAMINATED SOILS,KELP SEA WATER IN NORTHERN CAL MAYBE FRON NUKE POWER PLANTS.i am 100% for legal cannabis and 100% againts DEA PROHIBITION.SHOULD BE SAFE+LEGAL

  • NO not legalise NORMALISE!! How dare anyone place any law on part of nature.

  • 3 people who have investments with big Pharma did not like this video.

  • @c3bhm its the bladder.

  • When the colored-digital receptor map of the body is shown, at 4:20 (nice), they don't say what that glowing area in the lower body is. The brain is obvious, they mention the liver, but what about that 'chakra #2' region? Wikipedia says the kidneys, but that doesn't seem to correspond to that image. Anybody have any real answers, please???

  • occupy your mind!

  • weed above all else.. it's the link to eternal piece on earth, the missing puzzle piece. humanity is an unsolved puzzle yet we continue to find what nature left for us to complete it..EX is finding sea sponge that may cure cancer, or that beans look like our kidneys and actually help them and carrots when sliced open look like our eyes and actually help them..get my drift....

  • weed= happy+laws = control-your rights givin by god

  • this bullshit evolution is not real look into it weed was made by god for man

  • @ls1tome36

    lol, evolution not real? Jesus...

  • check out "war on cancer, failure"

  • its amazing isnt it? we have one good thing in this world thats a fricken miracle and its shuned out like some poison. and people still disbelieve everything that we reasearch

  • 90% of everyone who consumes THC is just abusing it... this medicine isn't meant to get you "high" Its meant to heal you from within...

Your body naturally makes cannabinoid's this receptor is not meant to get you high but to regulate the brain and body. It triggers things to start working and healing... the medicine is when you take the actually plant and make medicines out of it not abuse it to get you high... It is then used as a drug.

  • @sXeish ...but we'll never learn how to use it properly as long as we refuse to let it become a part of our culture.

  • Thanks for posting science and facts! Lets dispell fear ignorance and power gains from the debate on Cannabis. Are we not free people! Let us destroy the lies with the Truth and get this population fo beloved people well. GOD bless JB

  • You legalize and monsanto will step in

    Just decriminalize!

  • 2 people are just stupid and ignorant and 266 are the smart ones

  • It wouldn't be that we are designed to accept cannabinoids, it would be that cannabinoids and ourselves have evolved to work together over natural selection.

  • @crispy380

You are right about us evolving with plants and their use of us as well as our use of them.

Read: The Botany of Desire. There is a PBS film, but I haven't seen it so I don't know if it completely follows the book, or not.

  • THC does not cure cancer.

But the natural anti-fungal element in cannabis does.

Cancer is a fungi infection due to suppression of the Immune system. The body's last chance is regulated cell growth underneath the fungi. Many vegetables has this anti-fungal element, which is not activated due to field dusting. The fungi WILL adapt to man made anti-fungal chemicals.

The medicine companies makes 80% profit on cancer medication.

Soda will kill fungus, and since it's a salt, the fungi won't adapt.

  • @TheMrTape THC does kill cancer cells. Again, you don't know what a cancer cell is. Cancer cells are mutated/damaged cells that ignore the autophagic signals it receives, and it continues to live on without a purpose. Hence the term, "neoplastic". Not to mention, inflammation often accompanies cancers. Case in point! THC kills cancer cells by stimulating the CB receptors on a cancerous cell's surface to induce ceramide that forces the cell to eat itself.

  • @zekdom Can I just say Amen To the truth !!! People need to wake up and read the independent studies and listen to testimonies. Really what do you have to loose? YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!! I am a mother and I am thankful for my love for natural medicine and cannabis. Otherwise I would not be here today to see my Grand children born!!

  • as much as i love weed like a mother fucker. "heals cancer" is the biggest over exaggeration i have ever heard.

  • @PetersJunta have u heard of rick simpson ? he got a movie called "run from the cure", watch it and u'll find the answer ! :)

  • how could there be 2 dislikes... them two people most likely still believe in Santa

  • Check out the medical effects of the endocannabinoid and supplement Normast, palmitoylethanolamide!

  • Ron Paul For prez 2012!!!!!!!He will end the prohibition of weed.....

  • YEAAAAAAAAAAH

  • i wrote a paper on the pharmaceutical industry last quarter for school, the doctors that say "weed is bad for the lungs" or "were not sure of its long term effects on the body yet"...please tell me then why doesnt that stop you from pushing newly made pills on people when they have only been tested for a few years and theres no way u could know the long term effects of those pills, when weed has been studied for much longer and has been proven there are no bad long term health effects

  • @TheAuToMaTiC82 Most doctors are liars and frauds only interested in how much money they can make. If marijuana is used they would lose their income from selling harmful depression medcines, harmful blood pressure meication, harmful sleeping pills, harmful cancer treatments, and basically like you said untried and untested drugs that come from psychopathic maniacs who don't care how sick you are as long as they can make a buck.

  • See all the receptors in the groin region. That is why it makes more intense orgasms. :P

  • Solar-power will never got going, right?

  • Legalize it

  • They WOULD play a groovy song.

I have been VOLUNTEERING with the Cure Drive almost 20 years. Cured my own herpes - 2 kinds - HSV-1 and 2-- got it in '66 -- 28 years of outbreaks. I have helped people cure cancer, Graves' disease, lupus, CFS, fibromyalgia, FLU, many others - the main movie on CureDrive's Channel is me helping someone cure LEUKEMIA.

You learn IMMUNICS from FREE TUTORIALS at CureDrive(dot)ORG. Call me - I will help you - I'm Bayard Henry Barnes on Facebook.

  • Fantastic spread the word, legalise thc now

  • That is why they are trying to control the seeds. That way they can take out the THC & REPLACE IT WITH THEIR REAL MIND ALTERING DRUGS! That will be their next move, I have come into some very strange buzzes lately with some new strains that resemble PROZAC High instead of a THC High.

  • 4:17

They mentioned the red lit up cannaboid receptors in the brain & liver but for some reason they didn't mention all the cannaboid receptors down there near the happy area-lol

  • wow

  • The government can't stop the evolution of the brain. Legalize!

  • Legalize it !!!

  • 2 people are either ignorant or lying

  • @samfisherkillu

2 People from the big pharmaceutical compnaies saw this movie and shit their pants.

  • Great video

  • Wow, I'm all for legalization (of all drugs), but the end of this video was just ridiculous. It is not THE most dense/populated receptor in our brain. A receptor is not proof of anything regarding worthiness of consumption. Alcohol fits into the gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor, which is incredibly common. Does this mean we require alcohol to function? No.

Remember, cannabinoids FIT in receptors, they MIMIC the shape. This doesn't mean the receptors are MADE for them.

  • wow someone was stoned enough to press dislike cause they thought it would make em special

  • EVERYONE stop saying its hard to tax a plant... ITS NOT! WTF is tobacco but one of the most taxed substances on earth, and guess what... A PLANT. Ur giving them an excuse to keep it illegal by endorsing this bit of BS!

  • @Spliffer45

Your not going to grow a tobacco plat in your backyard stupid. Tobacco is a plant where as cannabis is a weed.

How in their right mind would pay for a weed. There are some really stupid people on youtube or their just putting comments like this because they have no life. Get one loser.

  • @jayx0007 You can if you like, its just in this culture its more convienent for you to buy it from the store, Same thing with cannabis. CANNABIS is a PLANT not a "weed" which in fact is also a plant, just the unwanted kind. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. And ofcourse your not going to pay tax on cannabis you grow, but same with anything you grow.... Can you tax plant material....YES. now quit being a fucking retard.

  • @jayx0007 Who would pay for weed? Well i personally wouldnt if legal, i would grow my own, but please explain all the dispensary's in cali... Who will pay for cannabis? MANY MANY PEOPLE.

  • @jayx0007 People like you without the ability to THINK are the reasons cannabis gets a bad name... How ignorant must you be to believe that first any plant worth $200 an ounce could be considered a "weed", to believe that a "weed" is not just a plant, or to think that we dont tax plant material extensively already. Get an education, get a rational mind.

  • @akariji I have to disagree, there is plenty enough cannabis in medical dispensaries as on now to fill it's patients needs, and plenty of nonmedical users have no trouble finding it. Also, I believe our plummeting economy will be aided by the legalization, as a new abundance of jobs and other economic opportunities will arise

  • The Cannabinoid system is a essential part of our immune system, and Cannabis has bin used as medicine for over 10,000 years... the Cannabinoid system was established hundreds of millions of years ago and is found in all animals, birds and fish and has little to do with the experience of a stoned cow.

    OneLove - JB

  • Marijuana is just a small part of the benefits of the cannabis plant , it is possible to make all Paper, all Plastic, All Energy, in form of Ethanol and bio-diesel, fibers for all types of Clothing, the seeds are the World best Protein and Essential Oil recourse, Cannabis seeds can end world hunger in one season, it can replace over 90 % of all natural recourses, timber, aluminum and steel included. Finally, THC Oil Cures Cancer and hundreds of other illnesses.. One Love ~ JB

  • No it doesnt because if it were anything else we'd find the resources. Perscription drug companies have no problem finding what they need. All we'd have to do is to make a deal with farmers to start growing it. I interviewed for a job recently as a case manager for a company paid for by the department of labor to educate farmers for a different career whos farms are failing. Its not like we have a shortage of marijuana its just that its all being confiscated.

  • The government refusing to legalize marijuana is the governments way of dumbing down america. Prisons are full of drug addicts. After studying Criminal Justice I have learned that the only offender that never stops offending is the sex offender. Yet 80% of sex offenders never do any prison time. The government is saying that drug offfenders are the bigger priority. Legalizing pot has great medical and economic benefits and would greatly reduce crime.

  • @1028Dawn I agree entirely and I'm all for it but there's just one problem. Resources. If it became legal just think how MUCH we'd need. It'd be a crisis. Just really think. That sucks ass right?

  • @akariji If you're talking about cannibus, I'm sure we'd have more than enough for users, and even more farms then we have right now would open up.

  • @trZack Oh we don't have enough right now but we can definitely make more with those un-cropped farms which are just THERE for no reason, sure. However the affect of marijuana being legalized may not affect us physically by that much. There is still the economic and mental effect which will send our already plumeting economy down into the ground.

  • the narrarator dude is for sure high lol

  • Can this be???

  • I find that aspartame, MSG and watching television kill my brain cells more than having a wedge.

  • @louthleviathan AMEN

  • only 14000 views? Get this on every tv station now!!!!

  • you can't sustain a lie like that forever.

People WILL come to their senses, onces this generation of ignorant 40y olds and up have left power positions

  • @djsdojo i agree but u forgot to mention "as long as your not hurting anyone" yes to free d weed!!!

  • So because our brains are able to induce something it can cure cancer? No where in the video does it imply that THC or anyother CB1 or CB2 (look it up) can cure cancer.

  • @kporter002 Find "Run From the Cure."

    Or Dr. Robert Melamede

  • @kporter002 Like Hezett said, look up Rick Simpson's story "Run from the cure".

You're right tho, this video doesn't provide any link to the healing of cancer. But if you look at the studies that have been done, you will find that the healing process works as follows (at least, how i understood it). First you have to ask, what is cancer? In a nutshell: cancer is an out of controll growth of damaged cells, because the mechanism to selfdestruct that each cell has, is defect in cancer cells.

  • @CCLJunky The "magic" that cannabis does, is simply restore that selfdestruct mechanism in the cancer cells, so that they all selfdestruct and the cancer is healed 100%.

Now, why isn't this knowledge being apllied all over in medicine? Why are people still dieing terrible cancer deaths? Well, there are multiple reasons, but they all boil down to: money & power. Cancer makes BIG money for the pharamindustry, like any disease does.

People should look into this. It might save your life some day.

  • @CCLJunky Why? You already stated the reasons Big Pharma, FDA...plus the Tobacco Lobby, and they haven't found a way to legally tax a weed or patent it!

  • Glad they are starting to get more credible content talking scientifically about marijuana use on the web.

  • Ancient Cows be getting high, natural MOOOOvement to healing oneself.

  • Hemp was only made illegal again( it was made legal to grow during the war for all it's properties) is that the wood "farmers" knew it would bankrupt them as the fast turnover of crop was quicker than growing trees. They must have had the ear of congress so was made illegal once more. From paper and textiles, to bio -ethanol/biodiesel, to medications, it's rediculous to prohibit something with so many positive and diverse uses. Especially when it is so replenishable and no part need be wasted!

  • Theory of intelligent design, hah , more like hypothesis.

  • @djsdojo That's absolutely true...It's really hard for them to tax a plant!

  • @NewDaysOldWays1 It's not hard to tax a plant they do it everyday already it's called tobacco and unlike cannabis it will kill you.

  • @NewDaysOldWays1 Tobacco is taxed...Tell me, if THC, this cannabinoid agonist, can really kill cancer cells, then how does THC differentiate between the healthy cells and cancer cells when mediating apoptosis?

  • they so need to legalize marijuana

  • @HistoryTours Yes they do...but the tobacco lobby fights hard to keep it illegal!!!

  • Legalize!

  • ???

you don't get high from weed, unless you activate the THC first by burning baking or vaping it. i don't see how the cow would have gotten high.

  • @Robstailey

what? of course you do! its not as efficient but it works for sure...

  • @Robstailey

Thats simply not true. You can eat raw marijuana and get high. You will have to eat more than you would normally bake with though. It's better to get your science information from studies, not your friends or High Times.

Still don't believe me? Google cannabinoid receptor activation and set your search to look in journal articles. None of them will say it needs heat to activate.

  • @Robstailey Wrong!

  • @Robstailey It doesnt need heat, just a way of absorbtion into the blood stream and a mammals gasto-intestinal tract is one long absorbtion factory, just as saliva helps to break down carbohydrates, other enzymes break down the other properties and nutrients in foodstuffs, you're still absorbing things until not long before the "exit" process. Being fat soluble also helps as when cooking, fats/oils help extract and disribute more effectively than just eating. Thats how cooking seems more potent.

  • What a GREAT video!!! You go BBC. Nice to see some REAL science coming to light ;-)

  • awesome! legalize it!

  • Awesome video. AWESOME video.

  • THC (Rick Simpson's Cancer Cure Hemp Oil) achieves this wizardry by binding to protein receptors on a cancerous cell's surface. Once attached the THC induces the cell to make a fatty substance called ceramide, which prompts the cell to start devouring itself. "We see programmed cell death" Velasco says. What's more, noncancerous cells don't make ceramide when they come into contact with THC. The healthy cells don't die.

Biochemists Guillermo Velasco & Manuel Guzmán, Complutense University, Spain

  • First of all, like others have pointed out, that last segment appears to be something added on by Cannabis Culture, and wasn't part of the original BBC production. Not that the points it raises are incorrect, but it's pretty clear that's what's going on.

Also, the title for this video is highly misleading -- there isn't anything at all in the video that indicates that "Marijuana Heals Cancer". It's interesting stuff to be sure, but says nothing about healing cancer at all.

  • nice video on some basics

  • Great

  • Is this from a larger documentary? If so, what is the name? Thanks in advance. :D

  • What pisses me off about this video is that they have five minutes of legitimate scientific research and fact, followed by a minute of propaganda. Don't tell us how to think, just give us the facts.

  • WAKE THE FUCK UP AMERICA... this is great news

  • Lol. I bet most politicians will still deny the facts..

Thanks to the millions of dollars that big pharma gives senetors to keep it illegal..

  • You misspelled 'whether' in the last segment.

  • @TheHatheist Tell that to The BBC....they made the original video.

  • @NewDaysOldWays1

the bbc did not put that bit on the end.

still, seems like if we were suppose to be able to get high, weed is what we are suppose to use.

it makes you dumb.. nope it opens your mind and makes this false reality we've all created transparant, so not dumb just awake

theres more to this plant than anyone realises or do they? and thats why it illegal and if they really cared about the kids they would regulate it like the poisonous alcohol instead of letting real criminals run it

  • @ihsib yes I agree...it opens the mind to many possibilities!

  • great video! go cannabis! go science!
