I remember this characteristic of cars changing places on the map from Carmageddon 1. However, the AI in Carmageddon 2 was much stronger, because in instant replay mode you could change the camera to any car with no cheats or hacks and see what they were doing. In Carmageddon 2, they would change into "shadows" when the player wasn't around, but they still drove around the track normally. They even showed some interesting behavior sometimes, like becoming visible and crashing into each other.
I know it's off-topic here, but how did ya gett the eagle 2 in carma1? unless those are the other coloured eagles and i just never cared to even run those.
to freez the timer just press F8 and for quick repair press F5 and for invincibility just press F6 trust me it works instead of doing shift 0 combos its a fast and easyer task.

Yeah noticed the weird AI Teleport thing a while ago, its great to look and see them just slide around the roads lol.
