Love this one. It gets really scary in the City of the Dead when you're in the trenches. I like how the developers returned to the adventurous feel from TR 1 and 2, where her journey to each location is transitional. 3 was great (and hard) but it felt more episodic than the other games.

the scariest part of this level is that you know that the ninja guys can climb of the ladders and follow you everywhere. thats enough to make my adrenalin pumping and for me to shit my pants. great game. great plot. 5/5

Really? I never liked it much. I didn't like the voice actress either, she sounded like a little girl. Outside of the sunny desert levels it was just too dark and depressing for me, and the gameplay wasn't anything too special.

Graphics are not the only thing to judge a game by. Plus Anniversary doesn't get THAT brilliant graphics either (I'm not denying the fact that it has got birlliant graphics, but they are not its highlight). Look how great the atmosphere of TR4 is, so that is why it's a universally recognized classic.
