It's japanese only as you may have guessed and I'm guessing you're using the english version .. I think you just gotta hold the Hi-Ougi button to execute it. ( I'm just guessing, but this is how it worked in Tales of Abyss with similar skill ).

He might mean the Indignation with maximum damage. I think it says 9999999 only because if you use Thunder Blade against the boss in the Arena, it will change into Indignation ( you unlocking the spell then ) and the spell will one hit kill the boss. It's meant to happen in that particular battle so thats why 9999999.

As for the other damage, it's not impossible. The characters are probably over level 100 and playing with Unknown mode.. I guess ?

Oh yea.. and probably loads of herb farming seeing as they have max hp and tp, and herbs for atk too.

@Distrance really you can just lvl up alot and use the dark weapons, and that levels them up to amazing damage. At lvl80+ with vitality and spirit, you can easily have max hp and sp on all characters.

I think it was the hidden techniques that were found in Tales of Symphonia (GCN) that were cool first. You know the Holy Judgement that Colette used and Genis' Indignat Judgement, etc.

With the exception of Tenshou Kouyokuken (which was used in a battle in which fell arms do 1 damage anyway), which requires a specific weapon to activate (and used multipliers to increase the damage), the majority of the MAs used had a Fell Arm equipped.

@enditall727 That's just an excuse Namco came up with. Namco always does this. Just like there was unfinished data that was put on the PS2 version of Tales of Symphonia in ToS for GC (Raine's hi ougi), the same thing was done for ToV (you can find character data for Patty in the 360 version). The real truth is Namco and other Japanese game companies just use Microsoft's low developing cost as a way to beta test the real thing for Sony.
