OMG. How DARE they not want to have kids grow up drinking and doing drugs! I'm straight edge and I know I'm worse off for it, I mean, every parent wants their child to grow up and be hooked on drugs. Although informative to a certain degree, I don't like documentaries like this. For a start, the narrator's voice makes it sound way too dramatic than I'd like it to be.
While it is a good thing that, through this documentary, more people learn about sXe and that we're not all violent gang members, I'm not sure about how it's presented. We're all people who have in common that we don't drink/smoke/do drugs and aren't promiscuous but it's not like we're all part of the "clan" of straight edge.

In straight edge you can't do drugs in general, for example. let's say you left a hospital and you still have some fort of pain in you and yoiur doctor gives you oxycotton. You can take oxycotton till you no longer feel that pain but in straight edge, they don't want you using oxycotton just to get a high or a fix.

You obviously know nothing about Marijuana which is sad considering you smoke it. Brain cells actually go DORMANT which decreases cognitive processes. And getting a better score means nothing. Ive gotten better ACT scores without trying opposed to. Weed however can reduce stress, and relax you. It also make someone more open. All the thoughts you come up with high are your own and are not excluded to weed. Weed can just help with creativity sometimes.

And incorrect sir, to experience symptoms of withdrawal you HAVE to have physical dependence. And Marijuana distorts perceptions, slows reflexes, lowers coordination, and make it harder to solve problems, actually very similar to alcohol. But of course degrees vary with usage.

There are studies that show that there is very small impairment on road test when under the influence of marijuana. The effects of weed compared to alcohol on driving skills are different.
