@Nokorola it's not much older than my VCR, yours is from 1982, possibly 1981. Yours also has the same mechanical chassis as my Quasar VCR does. these VCRS have a separate idler tire for play mode which tend to need replacing in alot of these models as in many cases will fail to play tapes but will still REW and FF them. These right loading designs came in the early 1980s, which is updated from the huge clunkers from the late 70's - 81 that loaded tapes in the center..
VHS is the better quality when u compare VHS and DVDS,,, VHS ROCK!

VHS is a kind of videocassette standard, this is a machine that records on VHS tapes, therefore, it's a Videocassette recorder (VCR).
