  • what kind of horsepower is she making? love your vids btw

  • @zeekdavis11 Thank you, I really appreciate it! The car made 377rwhp back a few years ago. I've added a few things that "should" have improved those numbers but who knows, it's ran the same number at the track for many years now. If I had to guess I'd say 385rwhp as it is in this video.

  • @vibrant93 thats a healthy dose of hp for the pony! what kind of things do you have planned? from what ive seen shes getting a 363? maybe a update just a "whats going on" type vid in the future?

  • @zeekdavis11 Oh I've got all kinds of plans :) We'll see if they all pan out! I thought it would be a good idea to put a ring on the significant other's finger a couple of weeks ago so that might set things back again but hopefully not too much! The big picture does include a 363" Dart based shortblock that propells this buggy into the 9's N/A. In all honesty the ball is rolling. I'll update as soon as soon as I have something worth while.

  • @vibrant93 congrats on the engagement! 9's!?! that 363 will make for a fun time and some great videos. still waiting for it to warm up and a couple more checks to toss a nice ol 416 into my 90lx. but good luck with the notch and hope the best for you and your fiance!

  • sounds like a popcorn popper

  • what kind of exhaust are you running?

  • @dmc5L Headers are BBK 1 3/4" longtubes. I cut the ball flange off and welded on a true 3" ball flange. Dr.Gas 3" X-Pipe. Spintech super pro 3" mufflers.

  • this car is nasty!!!!

  • @wpl3773 Thanks!

  • This car looks and sounds beautiful

  • @sean5comet Thank you, I appreciate it!

  • how much isit lowerd in the rear?

  • @slow2v04 It's got stock v8 springs in the rear. The lower control arms are Pro3i which have an adjustable perch. I have it almost all the way down which is basically about an inch lower than were the car would sit with stock arms.

  • Any Chance you live in MN?

  • Man that thing is sweet

  • What were the specs on your Ross pistons? Dome, dish, or flat? Obviously 4.030" bore. Can't get over the sound of your fox man. I watch this video a couple times a week haha

  • @bigandrw7 I don't have the job card in front of me but from what I remember they are in the neighborhood of +11cc on the dome and and a net dome height of somewhere around .400". Yes it's a 4.030" bore. Compression with my 56cc heads was right around 12.25:1. It's been together for 6 years now so some of these numbers could be a little inaccurate. Hell, I cant remember what I ate for dinner last night. Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it!

  • Awesome notch, it just screams "REV ME!"

  • @2stage90 Thank you. And don't worry, I did :)

  • sounds good by the way!

  • What muffler are you runnin?

  • @sarkozigr They are 3" spintech's

  • @vibrant93 they sound real good do they have turn downs?

  • @sarkozigr Yes.

  • so sweet man very very nice and clean notch

  • @TheMustangStampede Thank you, I appreciate it!

  • Comment removed

  • Beautiful!!!

  • @1quickgt Thanks bud!

  • How streetable is this cam? i was thinking of buying it for my car thought i could get a review! CLEAN COUPE btw

  • @zeekdavis11 I guess that all depends upon what your definition of streetable is. In a smaller inch engine it's not exactly something I'd want to run in my daily driver. It likes rpm, there's no doubt about it. It will kick and buck below 2,000 rpm. If you can get past that then I'd say it's very streetable. There's no idle hunt or surging by any means.

  • How you like that intake ?

  • @juztanotherday2 I liked it a lot. It seemed to to the trick.

  • Hey whats that on ur rear tail light that u switch on

  • @prettyboy28303 Battery on/off switch.

  • ya its does really sound amazing man

  • See u ain't playing no games....go hard or go home ent....

  • @prettyboy28303 Thanks guys!

  • Ok...i have to get a bigger alternator because the stock one was getting killed at idle so imma get a powermaster 140 amp one wire setup...which crank, rods and pistons did u use in the engine build...

  • @prettyboy28303 In this 306? The block, crank, and rods are stock, pistons are Ross. In the 363" I am currently building I'm using a Dart block, Scatt forged crank, Oliver I beam rods, and Diamond pistons. It'll be a neutral balanced deal.

  • @vibrant93 Whats the advantage of a neutral balance? Nice fox, BTW.

  • @blown06tc Thanks! Neutral balance puts a lot less stress on the crank due to not having to have external counter weights. A factory ford external weight is 50oz. If you can balance the crank with mallory internally it's a much better way of doing things.

  • Hey which alternator are u running...and are those under drive pulley's

  • @prettyboy28303 It's a PA 130 amp alternator. To be honest I've had it for 10 years now! The crank pulley is an under drive but the alternator pulley is the same one it came with.

  • this car just sounds so beastly

  • @1fastmustang86 Thank you! When I put this thing together the first thing I noticed was how much the compression really gave the exhaust note the thump.

  • This car is awesome bro...im running the n-51 now but later i Wanna get it bored and add better pistons with the b451 cam due 2 me later adding a blower

  • @prettyboy28303 Thanks! Sounds like you have a plan, stick with it!!!

  • What's your exhaust set up?

  • @zeekdavis11 Headers are BBK 1 3/4" longtubes with a true 3" ball style collector welded on. Dr. Gas 3" x-pipe, and 3" Spintech Super Pro mufflers.

  • .first off gotta say this has to be one of the best looking coupe ever,,what size tires an rims are you running in the rear?? looks bad ass

  • @slow2v04 Thank you! Rear tires are 26x10 Mickey Thompson E.T. Drags. Wheels are 15x10" with a 6.5" backspace.

  • @vibrant93 very true just wish i could get my car looking as good as yours! And it never seems fast enough im always looking for more! Lol

  • @ vibrant93 BEAUTIFUL notch, ive got one just your standard HCI setup, car looks great though really

  • @91fiveohnotch Thank you! Nothing wrong with "just a standard HCI setup." Whatever makes a guy happy, right?!

  • is this the same red coupe from the opther videos? with the black moldings?

  • @BLACKLACDTS Yep that's correct, same car. We painted and caged it winter of '09.

  • sounds sweet.music to my ears..any track times???

  • @dexda26 Yeah it's been down the track a time or two. Check out some of my other videos.

  • Badass man. What crank and rods are you using?

  • @bigandrw7 Thanks! Stock crank and stock rods.

  • gears?

  • @rmiles01 4.56

  • Exactly which spintechs are these? sounds great!

  • what camera ARE using!!! looks sharp!!! every time i play your video to see u car!!!!

  • @331lilcoupe Sorry for the delay in response. Actually the camera I was using in this clip was a Canon Power Shot SD750. It's an older pocket size digital camera. It's been a great little camera. All of the in car vid's I have taken have been with the GoPro.

  • That is one awesome Fox notch.

  • @Broskivx Thank you!

  • are thoes jegs sport star rims?

  • @Mr1972mopar318 Sorry, didn't see this one until now. No, the rims are Weld Pro Star's.

  • when you decide to get rid of those mufflers let me know, same screen name on the corral.net

  • @phillie356 I'll let you know. If the Bullets are too much I may have to keep them though.

  • the most beautiful 5.0 ive seen, the engine is sexy :D

  • nice bro!!!! i think iam going to go with a n71cam to not used that much big gears... maybe 4.10 no more then 4.30.. ill be using it in the street an high way!! but no my Daily driver.. at all!!

  • car sounds sick man this has got to be one of my favorite notches on youtube my car has been down for a couple months i wasnt satisfied with the 347 so i sent it back and ford performance solutions is in process of building me a 427 12:1 compression full race ported trick flow type Rs .700 solid roller should be all the power i will ever need but your car is a beast man good job

  • @1989fordpwr Thanks a lot man, appreciate it! Sounds like you are going to have a monster on your hands pretty soon. That buggy is going to a little different than with the 347 I assume :) Good luck with it and post up vids when it's done.

  • @vibrant93 will do thanks man

  • any drone? i have a 363 ci, jay allen cam, etc. etc i run kooks 1 3/4” l/t, dr. gas x-pipe and 3” flowmasters. looking to change the flowmaster, want a more agressive sound and less drone if possible. what series spintech btw?

  • @phillie356 No it doesn't really drone. I had the 3" flowmasters on before these Spintech's and they had a drone at that 2,200-2,500 range, no doubt about it. I think the Spintech's opened things up enough to get rid of that. They are loud though! When you get after it they hit hard and get very raspy/tinny if that makes sense? I'd love to try a set of 3" Bullets. They make a car sounds like it's reving 2k rpm more than it is so that'd be fun! I have the old version super pro's.

  • @vibrant93 Hey how did you hide all the wiring on the car? oh and i got a 1989 Mustang Gt hatchback 5spd and the things i wanna do to it is: CAI,Chip Tune,Full Exhaust set up, 5.0 cobra intake, 3:55 gears, and i wanna know which cam is the best for daily driving is it E303 or B303? thanks Love your car

  • sweet car bro.....love it!!!

  • what exhaust are you running from headers back?

  • @phillie356 It's got a "mustang universal' Dr.Gas 3" x-pipe with 3" flow tubes and 3" Spintech mufflers with turn downs.

  • They are Ross domes. ~12.5:1 compression. When I bought the trick flows back in 2003 they didn't advertise as intake runner sizes but I'm pretty sure they were 170cc stock. I had JDC do at "stage 3" port job to them and they flowed ~300 intake and ~220 exhaust @ .550. By looking at TEA's numbers they look to be somewhere in the 205 range.

  • HEY WHAT PISTONS DID U SAY U WERE RUNING AND WHAT SIZE TRICKFLOW HEADS ?!?!?!

  • What is the compression ratio? stock computer?

  • @snowmo8 ~12.5:1. Computer is an A9L with a crystal mod. Also has an SVO extender behind it.

  • Thanks guys! Yes it has a G-force t5. It's originally an AOD car so the neutral safety switch isn't hooked up.

  • Did i hear a t5 when you checked to see if it was in neutral?

  • Looks nice where ever u are... Sounds good though!! Next should be a idle with a good rev ;)

  • good video I love this car and setup
