  • You are so ninja at this game.

  • I wonder how gay rights groups would take this explanation of the fairy spell?

  • How can the second floor of the church have a basement?

  • I like your walkthroughs, but I'm wondering why you solve the puzzles before discovering them. For example, you talk to Bagu before the river guard, and you get the medicine before visiting Mido. Obviously, it's faster, and someone who's already played the game would do it that way, but it seems strange for a walkthrough to show all the puzzles being solved ahead of time. Was there a special reason you did that?

  • @TheRichardHinckley they allways take the fastest route

  • Wow. Your are great at this game. I am ok. It is my favorite Zelda game which is a bit strange seeing as others it...but it dared to be different and it was awesome!

  • Heh, Mido was the little Kokiri shit that didn't like Link in Ocarina of Time.

  • Your walkthroughs are very enjoyable

  • how come sometimes when u swing the sword a little piece fly off

    but sometimes they don/t?

  • @superdahoho When you have full health, a beam of "light" of your sword shoots from it.

  • @superdahoho in zelda 1 and 2 when you are at full health your sword shoots, though in this one its weaksauce

  • Fun Fact: Error's name was supposed to be Errol, but I think that there was a translation error (no pun intended)

  • @TriforceSlayer

L and R are the same letter in Japanese.

  • @TheZeldaDungeon More or less.

I don't think the Japanese "r" sound should be considered an L/R-combo, but rather a separate sound that happens to be close to those letters.

  • @TheZeldaDungeon and it's hillarious

  • @TriforceSlayer Bullshit that pun was totally intended. lol

  • Mido wasn't a sage in The Ocarina of Time, but he was the kid from Kokiri forest who guards the Great Deku Tree in the beginning.

This is probably strange to you, but this is the second walk through from you that I'm watching (The first being original Zelda) and I'm just watching it like it's a movie. I like the way you talk, you have a small accent that I can't put my finger on. Where are you from?

  • @princesskrystaljade i agree they're great. after finishing Z1 i went straight to 2.

then the others at the end of this :)

  • @princesskrystaljade I believe he's from Illinois.

  • Great guide so far. I'm at the beginning of the Palace that this video ends at with 5 sword, 4 magic, 5 health. I grinded EXP before death mountain a bit.

  • why is there a cross in an nes game? didnt they hav a rule abouut religious imagry?

  • @NintendmanMidget Where have you been in the past 20 years? Haven't you ever played Castlevania?

  • @Treyworld .....why did casltevania completley slip my mind

  • I was wondering if your playing the real game or a emoulator when you record?

  • @beedolphin1

In general, Mases plays on his NES. For this particular walkthrough, he recorded it on an emulator, since it was easier and it allowed him save states at the beginning of each chapter.

  • link's down+A move in smash bros.! :D

  • Thank you for recording these! I absolutely love this game, and enjoy watching.

  • What is the difference between having a heart container and a life lvl up

  • @kingofdeath56 Life equals more defence, enimies do less damage

  • you make it look so easy

  • @Machine2d

    because he's a pro xD

  • The harbor town of Mido is name after that annoying guy Mido in OOT
