I refuse to watch the new series, they've totally butchered it, they should have created all new characters instead of reusing the old ones, made it a "sequel" to the original instead of trying to modernize and recreate it.
Wo Fat made the Classic mistake here of taking on McGarret himself, his success always came from remaining hidden.
Just picked up season 12 a couple weeks ago, and finished last night! The ending to me, though, was a bit abrupt. The fight could have been a bit longer as one would expect, considering that McGarrett & Wo Fat had been archenemies for so long. But hey, not complaining...it's HAWAII FIVE-0, bruddah! The original is still the best! It's just a drag that, like all good things, it had to end and that we'll never see what could have happened...
I think that I have watched every Five-O show with Jack Lord and still watch them when ever I can. The new show is so mis-matched on casting. I have watched about 1-1/2 of the new show and I don't like and have not watched since. They should find a new casting director. It does not have the "JAZZ" that the old did.
@thomazcars Open and closing credits says "Hawaii Five-0", but CBS say the title of the 2010 show uses a zero in place of the letter "O" in the original 1968 title.......infomation from Wikipedia
@thomazcars I see 0 in original series and O in new series. I think CBS confused or deliberately, but not matter I LOVE this show. I bond in 1988 I never watch original series.
Jack Lord (60) and Khigh Dheigh (70) both way over their prime like to aging pro wrestlers clinging to their "spot" as they head for one final showdown!
Aloha McGarret.

@puppykung999 It's correct. The original producers used a 0 and now CBS says that the old Five-0 is with "O" and the new is with "0".
