I like Video#02 more. There's always something going on, and the viewers can tell who's going to act next. I particularly like the information on the bottom screen in this version of the game.

The only thing I don't like about FFIV DS emulation is that it doesn't erase stuff that it has to unless it deletes the entire screen. I find that that makes this a very difficult game to pirate comfortably.

On emulation:

You're playing FFIV DS on your computer, through a program called an "emulator", which mimicks the capabilities of another system. The problem with doing this for FFIV is that it doesn't erase text when it has to, as you can clearly see. If you watch the command list in battle, you'll see that it ends up becoming a jumbled mess.

That's why I think that playing on a real DS is better, but that's just my opinion.

Hmm, the menus stick to the screen...apparently this can really interfere with gameplay, especially later in the game when battles last awhile. I've got a bad feeling about this...but if it does work out well and it's manageable, please let me know, because I'm seriously considering playing this!

No, you can't, man (unless you record right off a DS rather than NO$GBA). This is just a problem with NO$GBA, and there's no known fix at the moment...maybe when (or even IF, at this point) a new version of the emulator is released, then this problem will be fixed. Right now, though, there's nothing anyone can do, and I have a feeling this will become a huge inconvenience.
