  • Alan Grayson is vigorously supported & endorsed by Oliver Stone and actor Martin Sheen. This should tell you all you need to know about this arrogant, narcissist, buffoon. This New York shyster needs to go back to the slums of New York from which he came ASAP.

  • this video is awesome and so is grayson. I'm a libertarian but I donated to Mr. Grayson because he is a smart, decent person.

  • you can never distroy afghanistan

  • A good contribution to the debate from the congressman,I traveled overland Kabul to London in 67 my Hippie right of passage?,Afghanistan was not the Rudyard Kipling or the James Mitchener writers image I expected? It was a natural catchment area for many tribes, ancient pristine cultures to survive intact with their music art faith teachings, rich and diverse as any where on earth, forget the"fearful mountain warrior " Kipling and Mitchener image it has served imperialism enough,Peace and Love

  • he makes some very good points.

  • "The best foreign policy: leave people alone."

    BUMPER STICKER

  • He seems to be a leader who understands reality in a very real world. I'm beginning to like this newcomer--if he really adheres to his attitude, unselfishness and principles.

  • 2:45 yes yes yes

  • Wow. That was so succinct and so perfect:

    "Leave them alone."

  • Ron Paul? I wish someone would ask Alan Grayson about RP. I doubt he's a fan. Alan Grayson is the face of Progressives. He's the future of the Democratic Party. He definitely speaks for me.

  • Grayson is completely on board with Auditing the Fed Res and looks like the war issue. Grayson was very instrumental in getting many Democrats on board with Ron Paul's AUdit the Fed bill. But he doesn't understand REAL capitalism. Pouring Gov money into healthcare RAISES PRICES. He still wants to take care of people with subsidies that drive up costs.

  • Tell that to 2 dozen industrialized countries who provide UHC for their citizens, yet spend less than we do.

  • Many of the countries that have UHC also have taxes much higher than ours. Not a very smart tradeoff. Super high taxes and rationing of healthcare is not the answer. Real price competition for most people and charity healthcare for the finanicially strapped is a better way to go.

  • Yes they have higher taxes, but they don't have insurance premiums to the tune of $10,000/year per family.

  • I agee. As you stated, the premiums are WAY too high.

  • @eXcommunicate1979,

Insurance companies have an exemption from antitrust. Maybe we need to change this.

Check out my first favorite video on my web page.

  • Actually, though they may have higher taxes, they don't have "super high" taxes. We have the lowest tax rates out of any industrialized nation. So the countries with UHC have more normal tax rates.

  • Money doesn't grow on trees. Someone has to pay. This is the real world, not some fantasy utopia. Some systems are efficient and some are not efficient at delivering goods and services to the market place. Before the gov took over, many doctors volunteered to help give free care or reduced-price care to people with very modest means. There are alot of people that care in the US and they would find a way to help if the gov would just get out ot the way.

  • blx2000. You make good points. Answer this ? though. How should society deal with the fact that the larger a corporation gets the more they are able to use economies of scale to their benefit and the detriment of society at large(small business specifically). there is currently no real competition in the sale of health insurance, how can we get some?

  • sounds like Ron Paul

  • Grayson is a rising star...

  • EVERYWHERE YOU GO!!!

we need to listen to the truth,

what you wish for yourself is only honorable if you are willing to acknowledge it for another

  • Well said.

  • If only Obama would use his great rhetorical gifts to promote this view regarding the war in Afghanistan. I think Americans would respond positively and reject the war mongering of the mainstream media.

  • Ron Paul/Grayson 2012

  • wow great comments...

    keep it up sir!

  • Grayson for 2016!

  • Wow, he rocks!!

  • Alan Grayson is an Earth Hero. The man deserves so much respect.

Finally, a Representative who calls it like he sees it. Finally a man who stands up for reality when no one else will.

Senator Grayson, you are a hero among men. I eagerly await your next "outburst".

  • It remains to be seen if Grayson can get anything done. It is so refreshing to see a politician talk straight though.

  • The blunt truth is an American has a greater chance of being killed by lightning than Al Qaeda. Yes, a radical terrorist state in Afghanistan is a danger, but it is mostly a danger to Pakistan, India, Iran, China and Russia. These countries are happy to see us struggle and bleed, they don't have good will for us, so seeing us exhaust ourselves fighting to eliminate or lessen their danger must delight them. If we said it is not really our problem to solve, do you think it would go unsolved?

  • Impressive. As if his "The Republican health care plan is 'Don't get sick, and if you do get sick, die quickly'" speech and time spent grilling Bernanke et al on the bailout weren't enough. Grayson is da man!

  • Yes DIPLOMACY is ART, civilised poeple use dialog !!!

  • American's aren't civilized.

  • Alan Grayson is one of the few in government that doesn't seem to be payed off and knows what he's talking about. I know he is blunt on what he talks about, but how else would we get the message?

    GO GRAYSON GO!!!

  • "That's the best foreign policy of all. Just to leave people alone."

Sounds like someone is hearing the words of Ron Paul and LISTENING. I commend you Congressman Grayson, for your valiant stance. Stick to it!

  • This man....Alan Grayson......IS becomming a hero. I would vote for this man as president. What a significantly wise man this person is!!? I do not how anyone can disagree with him successfully.

  • Imagine if all the money the US spent on killing "enemies" had been spent on making their lives better, what a beautiful world this would be. . .but of course the Military Industrial Complex wouldn't make those big profits at American taxpayers expense! Corporation need to find a more humane way to make money. Build BEFORE you destroy would be great!
