This series is not telling me what I want to know.For instance,it's 1/29/2011 about 10:43 am.I live between N.E. Phila. and Trenton.At this moment,doppler shows a mass of dark & light blue pre cipitation heading directly for us.The last storm was similar in size,we got 12",today they are calling for maybe an 1".I understand some principals of weather patterns merging creating a whopper of a storm,and how fast it's moving but I cannot see how we are only going to get 1" out of this one?

Too bad NWS NEXRAD is the ONLY radar used to issue watches and warnings. NOT First Alert Doppler.
