  • damn, check how much he has his fingers pulled in. completely kills revs.

  • why no lane change? damn gay... and this style works only on light pins and lanes with carrydown or wooden lanes. On clean synthetic lanes, the ball will flip and enter weak, besides, the best average for a spinner is only 230, hook bowlers can go up to 260-270 average in a tournament.

  • Umm... I bowl on synthetic lanes, and the ball enters fine, so long as my aim is good. ;) I also usually bowl at houses with heavy pins. On top of that, hookers rarely average over 230. I do however agree with you, that they sould be doing lane changes.

  • Well weather they change a not you still can't change th fact that a hook bowlers average for a 260-270 depends on the lane conditions sometime whereas Spinners generally play as per normal and can get up to 230. I've seen it before.

  • It's true, hook bowlers' averages vary greatly depending on oil conditions. But even still, a 260-270 tournament average is very rare... Almost unheard of, even for the best hook bowlers in the world. A good spinner can go head to head with a good hook bowler on any lane condition.

  • I think a 260avrge for evn for WRW is rare other we cant change the fact they are pros cause they can do it at House lanes haha :)

And even the youngest player on Team Singapore Basil Low can only averge a 250 for his finals gold masters match at the AYG against the Korean guy.

I think its all down to pressure and lanes for hook players.

  • cool
