  • This lovely song was one of the first I performed when embarking on a singing career many years ago. I discovered recently that it was the No.1 hit single when I was born. A great Rogers and Hammerstein number, beautifully sung here.

  • Its been said times before without number but the fact is they really do not make music today like they used to

  • What a wonderful, beautiful voice! The 40's - 60's vocalists recorded all the really classic "love ballads". A bygone era. Born in the early 50's, I was fortunate to have heard many of these songs on the radio and being played by older family members on the livingroom phonograph. Also was fascinated hearing about all the great artists who performed at the Aragon and Trianon Ballrooms in Chicago, and what a classy era that was: long before pink hair, tatoos, nose rings, and vulgarity in music.

  • This man was amzing.

  • Gracias por compartir éste tipo de canciones que ya no se consiguen con los Mejores Crooners del Mundo,saludos,sandraluz51.

  • Heavens to Enzio Pinza! I absolutely love this romantic ballad from "South Pacific". It's such a beautiful song. One of my fave Perry Como numbers! His was SUCH a unique voice & talent! THANK YOU so very much for posting this! You've MADE my day & my week! :-)

  • This is music at it's best ---- I remember Perry Como so well .

He was great , nobody comes close , well maybe Dean Martin .

  • Lolvely music, lovely interpretation, lovely guy!!!

  • Wonderful, beautiful song and a superb performance! Perry Como forever!

  • The original recording of ''Some Enchanted Evening'' by Perry Como hit no. 1 on the charts the fourth week of July 1949 -- and remained in first place for five consecutive weeks.

  • An oldie classic.

  • Thanks for reinstating one of my favorite classics from Perry Como.
