Your well on your way to having a pointing lab that wont point from the looks of the video. I dont want to sound like a jerk. But working him without a check line and letting him nose those birds like that is a sure way to get him in the habit of flushing.
I am aware of that however this was his first time out after 3 months you can see he is loose, and I believe that it was said during the video. was videoing this as the dog was for sale and someone 1500 miles away wanted to see what he could do.
