If you believe this diference can be caused by micro evolution then you believe that natural unplanned processes can alter the genotype of an individual, a race and a species. @2010paultron Actually there's a difference between the layman's use of the word "theory" and the scientific use. When used in the scientific sense it can be interchanged with being fact, not the layman's use as what we'd typically consider and "educated guess", in science that would be a hypothesis. Example: The Theory of Gravity. I don't think many would argue that gravity is just an idea, unless you're using sticky tape to hold you to the ground.

@dog91107 there is a certain (constant) amount of carbon 13 in the atmosphere and in organisms when organisms die the carbon 13 decays an goes back into the atmosphere so using a graph the more carbon 13 a fossil have compared to the amount in the atmosphere the younger it is and the less the older it is oh and they didnt use carbon dating to figure out the age of the earth how do i know this i go to a baptist christian college and they taught me its got nothing to do with evolution

If there's an extinction event, there are many niche vacancies which organisms can fill.

@2worldsatwar Actually yes we have witnessed this in controlled laboratory conditions. Scientists took the same species of bacteria and put them into multiple dishes. Over 15 years one of the dishes of bacteria had evolved into a new species.
This experiment is possible with bacteria because they multiply quickly and generations pass quickly. It would take millions of years to observe this with multicellular animals.

The differences are slight from generation to generation, but over time they become quite distinct. Think of how long it took to build the Great Wall of China as a human analogy.

@2010paultron Actually there's a difference between the layman's use of the word "theory" and the scientific use. When used in the scientific sense it can be interchanged with being fact, not the layman's use as what we'd typically consider and "educated guess", in science that would be a hypothesis. Example: The Theory of Gravity. I don't think many would argue that gravity is just an idea, unless you're using sticky tape to hold you to the ground.

The biggest problem here is that you assume organisms have a desire to evolve. Not true. They evolve for two reasons: niche vacancy and innovation. Variation occurs in all populations of sexually reproducing organisms. If an organism has an innovation due to sexual reproduction or mutation then it will probably live and reproduce, passing on its genes. If there's an extinction event, there are many niche vacancies which organisms can fill.

and that it went in small steps in birthing fish with small growths that after a 1000's years of birthing would grow to actual limbs.BUT, natural selection(by darwin) says that if a fish is born with a mutation(the half limbs in tis case) wich isn't usefull and will not be breath further.

No it isn't, and you can tell yourself that it is all day, it doesn't change the fact. You don't even know what the word "species" means, and until you do, you're unfit to make that judgment. We've seen it happen in nature as well as in the lab, and there is never any "genetic engineering" involved. We either provide the conditions or find the conditions where it happens on its own, and then we observe.

@2worldsatwar Actually yes we have witnessed this in controlled laboratory conditions. Scientists took the same species of bacteria and put them into multiple dishes. Over 15 years one of the dishes of bacteria had evolved into a new species.
This experiment is possible with bacteria because they multiply quickly and generations pass quickly. It would take millions of years to observe this with multicellular animals.
Evolution is a proven fact with overwhelming evidence get over it!

I considered this myself before accepting evolution
If Americans came from Europeans... why are there still Americans and Europeans, but no Ameropians? - the ocean(transition phase) is not as viable as either EU or US
Natural selection picks out the best groups - monkeys running along the ground without weapons just didn't cut it. Stay in the trees, or use your brain

evolutionists leave religion out of the equation is because it convolutes things - scientists only care for facts. Trying to explain incredibly complex organisms through creationism/ID would require an even more complex being to create them. Besides there's no reason why the two cant co-exist (evolutionary prototyping)
When your feet adapt / evolve to a new pair of shoes, there's no consciousness governing the process - it just happens

Because science classes in school just go over a few facts, they dont go into depth. They skim over the easiest parts.

I love how creationists oversimplify scientific concepts into idiotic parodies and than point at it and say "Look how stupid this is!" It's like saying Jesus was a zombie. That's not what Christians believe and the very idea is offensive to them. If you don't want religion to be parodied like that, than don't make such childish portrayals of evolution.

many say "there are no transitional fossils". there are always more and more fossils being discovered. except that it takes TIME. it took 5 years to found tiktaalik.
and scientists are investing 8 billion dollars for things like the large hadron collider. your church raised millions to deny a human right in california. how nice.
btw hundreds of billions goes for foreign aid. those 8 billion spent in a decade for a collider is very little. and its foreign investment that will stop poverty.

a fish didnt jump out of water, evolved into a a frog and later into humans. maybe frogs arent our ancestors at all. different animals cause different directions of evolution.
the creation cant explain us anything. it says god wanted a light, but it contains no explanation about HOW god created the light. it cant even pass the laws of nature. all trillions of stars and planets created in a week? come on. big bang nucleosynthesis can provide far more answers than the bible.

is this in the laws of nature? bible cant even tell us about surface tension. its middle eastern mythology. evolution was suggested by a scientist that actually spent studying an actual evidence and travelling the earth. the creation was suggested by people who thought epilepsy was caused by the devil. only greeks knew its a brain disorder.

You don't seem to get the concept that evolution operates through natural selection and so occurrs at an extremely slow, incremental pace. The differences are slight from generation to generation, but over time they become quite distinct. Think of how long it took to build the Great Wall of China as a human analogy.

no but surely according to this 100% supposedly "proven" theory (but still without any scientifically OBSERVED evidence), they would be in some sort of changing(UPWARD molecular) process or another species all together.The very fact these creatures are stil here and not ONE change wiith any of them makes a mockeryof this outrageous idea!u need buckets of faith to swallow this UNproven idea,hypothesis,theory,whatever u want to call it but NOT SCIENCE.

No theory is 100% proven. There is plenty of observed evidence for biological evolution. Not one sentence you have uttered indicates even a remote understanding of evolution. You don't need faith to accept evolution. You just have to do your homework.

If evolution worked that way there would only be one form of life. Fortunately it doesn't work that way.
You should really read how evolution works and what it really means.
Stay clear of Kent Hovind and the like because they are either liars or ignorant about evolution.
