I am having fun and learning alot to speako my thai girlfriend in her language, and it lets me try to talk with her, while she laughs with me...lol....makes us closer as a couple while apart...lol..thank you mod, for your time and help learning a language and culture, the thai women are so beautiful...
Hi Khru Mod, just reviewing some of your lessons. Question: I always thought the word "bpraa maan" meant "probably". Am I wrong? Also, the word for "maybe"---I see it transliterated as "ajaat" but sometimes I think I hear Thai speakers pronounce the "t" sound and sometimes not. Likewise, the polite (male) ending "khrap", some speakers pronounce the "r" sound, some don't. Could you comment? Thank you (kawp khun maak khrap!)
Thank you so much for putting your time into these videos. I live in Bkk and this really helps me. Although is it ok for a man to learn to speak Thai from a woman? Will it sound feminine when I speak? Thanks you :)
Your approach is very good. From the video, we are able to learn how the man on the street talks. May be you can consider taking some video on how do you order food and how do you appreciate the presentation of the food. Perhaps, you can show us how do you order food from the road side stalls or buy fruits from the market stalls. Keep it up.
Keep the microphone FAR from computers because they have moving parts that make the quality of sound poor. Before make any video, make a short test and verify if you have noise in background.
@LearnThaiwithMod Hi Mod, I removed my comment because the sound does improve after the noisy start. I was being a bit harsh. Sorry :-) Keep up the good work.

@kwhatten You misunderstood ka. The word "bpra-maan" means about, around, approximately.
The word 'maybe' is อาจจะ [aat-ja]
For the word 'krap', Thai people drop the 'r' all the time and not only this word they do that with every word.

Get a microphone. The background it's CATASTROPHIC ! :). In lessons the quality of sound it's EXTREMELY IMPORTANT !

Another GREAT video from Mod. She is the best Thai teacher on youtube.
High quality word breakdowns and explanations.
Someone should pay her BAHT MAAK MAAK for all of her efforts.

@geoffphuket
I know. I tried to use Final Cut Pro X to remove the background noise, but it didn't work. (I don't know how to do that properly actually).
